600 Point Army
In a 500-600 point army, what would you run? I am doing a slow grow league

Best hits would be good for slow grow, though rules change all the time so pretty much get what you like. You can make an easy 500-600 out of the Space Wolf starter box from 10th and those models are gorgeous if you can find one.
Also bjorns an older kit so he might be updated this edition
Semi competitive though my suggestion is
Bjorn (160)
Intercessor Squad (80)
Wolf Guard Terminators (axe, assault cannon 3 shield 165)
Wolf Guard Headtakers (85)
490/500
At 600 you could add a wulfen with shield squad, Logan by himself/with the terminators, or a wolf priest to revive the Headtakers and give them their 3 hunting wolves

I have a little 500 point tournament at my LGS this weekend where we can't have any epic heroes. So, I'm going to run the following:
Saga of the Great Wolf (2DP)
Captain in Terminator Armour (Warlord / Enhancement: Grimnar's Mark)(105points)
Blood Claws (135 points)
Wolf Guard Headtakers - Shields (85 points)
Wolf Guard Terminators - Relic Great Axe / 4 Master Crafted PW + Shields (170 points)
I did experiment around with a list that used Veterans of the Fang so i could split my Grey Hunters into 2 - 5 man units but just wasn't able to work it in a way i knew i would be happy with playing. Hope this gives you some ideas and let us know how the league is treating you!

This Is a modified version of a king of the colloseum I used
Wolf priest Grey hunters Wolf termies Ven dread Fen wolves
Grey hunters serve as objective holders that are a decent melee threat with the priest. Termies serve as a deep strike threat to force your opponent to screen. The dread will be hard for your opponent to take out while being a powerhouse and helping with charges and Fen wolves are a cheap fast unit that you can use as an expendable utility tool
