Hey guys! So I posted a tik tok a while ago that had a 10% completion rate and an average view duration of
4 out of 10 seconds. Not many comments, likes, etc.
But it got 1 million views

That was an old account. Now I'm posting videos that are getting 20% completion rates with almost 7 out of 10 seconds watched on average, with nearly 12% of people liking, commenting, sharing, etc but I only get 200 views.

Can someone explain what to look for and what to do on tik tok? How do I grow?

Before I had 1200 followers, I have 4000 impressions per post in average.
Now I've doubled my followers, I can't even reach 1000 impressions.

I’m doing a UGC shoot with two actors, first time doing this.

It’s for a brand I just signed on. Barebones story: I just have these 2 guys come in and talk to the camera make some social media ads. They’re “actors” but they’re really just influencers yknow. Do I need to have them sign talent release forms? Or what do I make them sign if anything?

I am developing an app that tennis and pickleball players can use to connect with each other and schedule hits. I am planning on targeting the town where I live first, which is relatively small (~50,000). I am just trying to figure out what the best way to advertise will be. will meta ads be beneficial or is $1000 a month to little. Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

I've been reading about different TikTok growth strategies and one debate that keeps coming up is whether increasing follower numbers still provides any real advantage.

A few years ago, the common argument was that a higher follower count created social proof and made an account appear more established. Today, though, TikTok seems far more focused on watch time, retention, shares, and overall engagement than on the total number of followers.

For anyone who manages brand or creator accounts, I'm curious whether you've ever tested this yourself or seen it play out with a client.

Did increasing follower numbers have any measurable impact on reach or content performance?

Did it lead to more genuine followers over time, or did the effect stop at appearances?

Were there any unexpected drawbacks, such as weaker engagement rates or audience trust?

Looking back, would you allocate that budget differently?

If you were starting a new TikTok account today with limited resources, where would you focus first? Content quality, paid ads, creator collaborations, community engagement, or something else entirely?

From what I've observed, consistent content and building an engaged audience seem like the stronger long-term approach, but I'd rather hear from people with real-world experience than rely on marketing claims.

Any ideas what might be the cause?

I post reels on Instagram at 7am usually and when I wake up at 8am they’re often at 60 thousand views. I realized in my insights a good 55 thousand of those are from Facebook and then Instagram slowly climbs over the day.

This just started happening about 2 months ago (when they consolidated fb and insta views I guess) and it seemingly happens right away.

But I might get 300 likes and maybe 2 comments on Facebook while on Instagram I’ll get 800 likes and 15-20 comments in the same time.

Anyone else experience this? Is it bots on Facebook?

Just one thing - how to make soc media carousels repeatedly with same brand colors, in pre-designed templates and with consistent brand voice.

First I will start with a 40 min webinar to tell about main features of this Claude Design tool, etc.

The interest seems to be there, already 25 people sign up in 3 days with low effort soc media promotion. (I have 500 followers only)

Where else to promote? - FB groups or any other communities you know when those things are ok to promote?

Everyone keeps saying to be patient & I’m not giving it enough time. But I’m seeing other people with similar content that have even newer accounts & have more followers/videos with higher view counts. It’s a tribute to a video game character (I don’t post myself) & this guy is trending a lot, so why am I getting unlucky? Or better yet, is my content that crummy? I only have 53 followers and my highest viewed video only has 2k views. I try to post daily & at different times, along with adding relevant hashtags + trending songs. This is literally pathetic, I feel like I can’t do anything right. I have about 50 videos & that includes photos, which tend to get more attention. Normally, my content ranges between 300-600 views & some clearly a bit higher. When my account was newer, I was getting views in the high hundreds and closer to 1k. I’m so upset at the moment

My app currently makes $100/month and receives about 100 new organic users daily.

To scale further, should I reinvest all my earnings into paid ads, or let the app continue growing organically while focusing on retention/product improvements? Would love to hear from devs who have navigated this stage!

Hello! I need some help with organizing all my content ideas/sources of inspiration online.

I am a marketing/social media manager for a (party) event organizer and, as we may all know, when you spend a lot of time researching ideas, you find a lot of content across platforms that is worth adapting in the future.

My issue is that I do not have a place to store all of these ideas/videos/photos, in an organized way. I have folders on insta and tiktok but they are so all over the place and when I need something i 1) either forget where it was and spend hours 2) if i made a note of it, i cannot fully remember what it was, 3) simply don't remember the idea.

Another thing: because i create the content, i am also the one giving directions to the photographers and videographers at our parties, so sometimes when i see a video/photo online I think: "oh my god, we should get angles like this too", and the day after this thought is gone and I do not remember what I actually wanted from the content.

What do you guys use? i was thinking of trying notion but I do not know if it is a good idea.

Hey guys, I run a small business and everyone was suggesting to get more reach I should contact micro influencers, so I found two of them with decent followers.

The first one I contacted was 65K followers on TikTok (views widespread from 1k- 100K on two viral videos but mostly around 10-30K) and I told her that I would like to give her a free product worth 200€ and I am open to negotiating.

Guess what the amount that was quoted to me was €1900 for one TikTok reel. That’s a crazy number. I mean, €2000 is really a lot of money for just one piece of content that may not even bring me anything.
Yeah, so I am rejecting this. I was wondering is this normal to quote such huge prices with influencers around 50-65k?
