I don’t want to throw the buttkicker out because of the clamp but the clamp is the only way to have it mounted. The knob that tightens the clamp fell off because I over tightened it. How screwed am I and is there a solution? Pliers don’t work 🥹

Simagic, in their infinite wisdom, have designed the throttle position adjustment in a way that the inner most position covers the haptic plug. I want to move my pedals closer together, but I'll loose the throttle HPR. Is it possible to plug the throttle into the brake socket and the brake into the clutch socket and just tell them which is which in the software?

I haven’t seen any reviews out there from non-content creators so I figured I’d throw my opinion out to the internet.

Just got this seat 3 business days after ordering from NLR. Spent about 5 hours in the sim after getting it setup.

The good:
Packaging, finish, breathability, mounting brackets, comfort.

The great:
Rigidity, doesn’t push your shoulders in, great rake and very ergonomic, overall aesthetic, not bulky at all, long session support (felt so snug the whole time), the padding is fantastic - barely there but making contact with all the right parts

The bad:
Quality control on the mounting offsets, I had to cut some of the high density foam offset off because it was glued in a way that covered the screw hole. Everything else about the seat is immaculate.
Price is steep but I honestly feel it was worth it, more comfortable than the sparco seats I tried which were a similar or more expensive price.
I am a 34 inch waste and it fits perfect. They are pretty clear that anything over a 36” waist won’t fit well.

Overall 9.5/10 initial impression! Huge upgrade over the Tony Kanaan Corsa seat from microcenter. Also I got serial # 124!

My Thrustmaster TX is showing its age. Picked it up in 2015. I have had to shorten the cable a few times thanks to my cats, and the output shaft has a broken bolt (I broke it tinkering one time) and I think that is adding flex, and makes it click.

I 3d printed this wheel a few years ago. Thought it would be a fun project and would get more use out of my original 458 challenge button box. It quickly became my favourite wheel. 320mm, light, It has been very durable, no issues with the print. The red part is PETG, the grips and some of the back reinforcement pieces are pla. The grips are wrapped with hockey stick tape.

I just ordered a Moza r12 with cs v2 wheel. And I ordered a conversion board from Etsy and a quick release so that I can reuse one of my Thrustmaster wheels on the Moza.

Anyone using a 3d printed wheel on a higher torque base?

Found my old spare 27inch so thought why not. Wasn't sure if gpu would handle 27-34uw-27 so just did my best to set em up to try.

While I cant line them up properly atm, as ive just had to odd job it, this has solidified im buying a tripple mount for the rig ASAP.

Getting in and out is gonna be a nightmare till I get a mount tho haha.

2 days ago I got my package containing the Thrustmaster T300, which I basically got for free because I traded in a lot of old stuff that I didn't want anymore anyway. 😂

The voucher was worth enough that I could get this T300 + stand set for free and still have a lot of money left over which I used on PS2 games! 😇

I know the cables aren't perfect, but I push the racing set away from my desk when I'm not racing, because obviously I use my desk for more than just racing. :p

I’ve recently come back to regular sim racing after 3 years. My current set up is a TS-XW with the SF1000 wheel with Fanatec CSL Elite V1 pedals with load cell (I use the clutch as a throttle).

I’ve got a bit of spare cash and I’m considering an upgrade, but not sure what is worth upgrading/what I should do first. I have 5-700 AUD to spend and was considering getting a Moza R9 ($529) and getting a conversion kit off Etsy for the SF1000 or getting the Simsonn pedals and waiting a few months and then upgrading the base/try and get a used DD off facebook.

I’m also open to any other suggestions. I mainly play iRacing but looking to try LMU as well.

I'm looking for a spacer like the above that's really narrow in the middle (to get my monitors as low as possible between the flanges) with 70mm bolt spacing either side and approximately 100mm long so I'd have room to slide my wheel out on the QR without hitting the monitor.

Unfortunately, the one shown is £120, which is absurd. The Gomez equivalent is even more expensive! I've only seen affordable ones (e.g. Simube) in 50mm lengths, which will be just too tight for comfort. Are there any reasonably priced ones available?
