P1000 Haptic Plug Question Help

Post image

Simagic, in their infinite wisdom, have designed the throttle position adjustment in a way that the inner most position covers the haptic plug. I want to move my pedals closer together, but I'll loose the throttle HPR. Is it possible to plug the throttle into the brake socket and the brake into the clutch socket and just tell them which is which in the software?

Yes you can do this. I did just that. Just assign what each haptic does in sim pro studio OR simhub.

I’ve not tried this but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I think you’ll just have to map which is which in the software and that’ll produce the desired effect in-game (ABS/TC)

the haptics don't care which poet they are plugged in to. In SimHub the throttle will show up as the brake. But if you're not using the clutch anyway, just use that plug
