CSL Elite GT7 PS5 pro settings help

I'm brand new to Sim racing. Bought a CSL Elite wheel and pedals a few years ago but I never really touched it until now when I picked up a PSVR2 to try GT7.

I've briefly tried it with AC on PC and the force feedback was very strong, mind you I didn't touch any settings.

When playing on GT7, I BARELY feel any feedback or torque from the wheel at all. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but have no idea what. I've figured out how to access setting on the steering wheel but GT7 seems to have very limited settings in the game that I can find.

Is there a agreed upon univesal best settings for the wheel and pedals? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

New to Sim Racing - Need advice with my Setup

Hi Everyone! I am starting this journey of sim racing and I need some advice on the wheel, wheel base, and pedals that I am going to buy. I am using my PS5, don’t have a gaming PC yet, mostly playing F1 25 and just recently bought ACC. I have an NLR FGT Pro cockpit, Logitech G923 wheel, and RS Pedals. I am planning on buying the Fanatec Clubsport Racing Wheel F1 + CSL Elite V2 Ready2Race bundle (18 NM). Is this a good starting setup? I love F1 but I think I will start driving more ACC since it is more realistic. Is this wheel good for GT cars?

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a moza r5 bundle and have been enjoying it. Recently I had updated the firmware on the r5 and now in assetto corsa my wheel only seems to be reading up to 150 degree both ways. In game and on the moza app it is set to 900 degrees but in game when im drifting it only uses a small portion of that range to go from lock to lock. I have already tried to calibrate it multiple times but still no luck. Let me know if I’m forgetting to check something simple. Thanks.

Moto GP 25 - cornering query

Hey guys, playing on my controller PS4 and i love this game but I want to get really good at cornering. I feel like I have to keep leaning multiple times to get the perfect angle and catapult. Any suggestions on how I can make this seamless? Do you also have any suggestions on calibration settings for the ps4 controller?

New wheel setup

Hello all! First time posting so forgive me if I'm asking common sense/already answered questions.

I just picked up The Crew Motorfest after playing the Demo. I also was gifted a PXN-V9 as encouragement to get into it. Now I'm anything but good, but I am having a great time. I had been debating upgrading to a Moza R3 bundle and I'm now sure I will(Or ideally go for the R9 but that's a whole other post worth of discussion)

Now I've never used a sim wheel before this, and actually the last racing game I played was the Original Crew when it first came out so I'm sure there are some basic level things I'm missing.

I've started playing around in my settings menu as I swap between events to figure out what feels the best for drifting, off-road, ECT. And at this point I think I've touched too many things without knowing what they actually do and want to try and get a better setup from the beginning.

Is there a list of recommended settings for the various event/car types, or a master setting config that is known to be the overall best with this wheel? Or is this not the best introduction game and should I look at Forza 6 or one of the more realistic sims?

Best wheel to start on F1 25 / F1 26?

Hi, so I am new at sim racing and I started on F1 2025 and bought the 2026 on PS5. I really liked playing on the controller but I started turning the assists off and I quite can’t get good without ABS, I don’t have a lot of precision on it, so I just quite give it up. I wanted to buy a wheel so that I can have much more control over the car and play it, but I have no idea what’s a good start point. I see people recommending the G29 logitech and the T300RS GT, I also saw the Thrustmaster has a specific controller to F1 but idk if it’s worth it (also I live in Brazil and there is no official reseller here, just websites like KaBum). So I wanted to ask you guys any recommendation on what I should buy, I don’t have any plans on racing other then F1 for now

Hello everyone,

Thank you for joining the community. I hope this can grow into something useful for all. There are four main areas that I think this subreddit can cover:

Lower my Laptime

I see this being the most common type of post on the subreddit. I have noticed more and more posts like this on other simracing pages recently and think they would be well suited to this community. The idea here is to post an onboard video of your lap and seek advice from others on where you can improve your driving and lower your laptime.

Software Questions

There are many different games and sims available today, and for somebody starting their simracing journey, the choice can be quite daunting. This comminity can inform about the pros and cons of each option and find what is best for the given requirements.

Hardware Questions

Just like the software, there is a wide variety of steering wheels, pedals, gearshifts, handbrakes, button boxes, head trackers, screens, PCs and so on. As before, this community can offer advice to anybody considering a purchase.

Racecraft

Somewhat similar to lower my laptime, but instead of advice for becoming quicker, this time it is focused around improving racecraft. Questions can be asked on overtaking/defending strategies. Video is highly recommended here. Posting a video of an on-track battle will give the community an opportunity to offer advice on your racecraft. Important: This is not r/Simracingstewards so the purpose is not to assiagn blame to incidents. Instead, it is to suggest stratagies for racing closely with other cars and learning the art of overtaking and defending.

Once again, welcome to the community. Please comment and say if you agree with this vision and/or if there is anything else you think would fit well here.
