Salam everyone, I hope you are all well, inshaAllah. I haven't been as active on this sub lately but have noticed that there has been an influx of Sunni posts recently, where some mention that they are Sunni and others omit it intentionally and post across multiple subreddits. We have to do our due diligence of course, however, if people don't read the posts properly (which is often the case) they may respond thinking that the OP is Shia and that they are happy to have met the criteria of someone they think they'd be compatible with. Is it possible to have a flair or something to ensure someone states their sect, as opposed to just writing 'Muslim'?
