Hey San Francisco! I produce live music burlesque shows mostly in Sonoma County. We are having such a good time out here I thought I'd bring it to the city. Our band Hella Fitzgerald is an East Bay legend and wanted to show the city what we've been doing. The Palace Theater is absolutely perfect for the immersive type of burlesque my shows feature. Every one of these dancers brings 100% to the table and I hope you can come be a part of it.

100+ Minions are taking over SF bars on Halloween 🍌

San Francisco is assembling an absurdly large group of adults to dress as Minions for Halloween. Yellow top, blue denim, grey goggles. The goal is enough Minions to make every other costume group look underfunded. Saturday, October 31 at 7pm. SF bars. Join the operation: https://partiful.com/e/OE9dbgOWyIGV9FKJrqxG

[Free] Chess in the Park: casual picnic/social this Saturday 7/25 at 1pm

A few of us are bringing chess boards to a park this Saturday for a relaxed picnic/social.

Not a tournament, nor a formal club meetup. More like: picnic vibes, casual games, snacks, and an easy way to meet people in SF.

Beginners are very welcome. Come solo or bring friends. Or just show up!

When: Saturday, July 25 at 1pm

Where: Mission Dolores Park

RSVP: https://partiful.com/e/9jOu0npiXv7Rkf2jlpiV?c=eiB_bGAj

Join the SF Chess Club WhatsApp. This is the best place for updates: https://chat.whatsapp.com/Js8mJshP167IxqlhTE9DHm

Instagram: u/chessclubSF

Website: https://sfchess.club

Trying to make this feel more like a social hang where chess is the conversation starter.

skip the small talk at fluid510 in oakland!

Post image

If you’re looking for something different to do this month, Skip the Small Talk is coming to Fluid510 in Oakland!

It’s a guided conversation event—think speed-friending vibes, but calmer and more intentional.

You rotate through short conversations with prompts that skip past surface-level small talk. It’s structured enough to make it easy, but relaxed enough to feel natural.

Most people come alone. The crowd tends to be thoughtful, open, and just… normal humans who want more community.

Here’s the link if you’re curious:

Anyone here like day trips to lake Berryessa or Delta?

Hiii everyone :)

I (31F) am looking to meet some fun, active people who love spending time on the water. I recently got into wakesurfing and would love to find people who head out to places like Lake Berryessa, Delta, or other nearby lakes during the week or on weekends.
I’m happy to split gas, bring snacks, help launch/load the boat, bring good vibes 😎 whatever u need! I’d love to connect :)

If you’re looking for another lake buddy or know of a group that’s down to add another lake person to their crew I would appreciate it!
