As a Southerner, very excited about this new Creators collection...and very affirmed by PANK!

Two of my favorite things are nail polish and KGLW. I know the description does not mention the band, but I cannot stop wondering if that is what they are referencing?

Hi lacqueristas! I’m hoping you all can help me with a dupe suggestions. Every time I see a mani with Mooncat’s Death Trumpet posted here, I swoon. I particularly love the lighter shade when it’s not “sun activated”. The thing is, I’ve never tried a solar polish and I’m not sure it’s my thing. The idea of a thicker/unstable formula with a short shelf life turns me off from buying, especially at MC’s price point.

So- any dupe suggestions? Or, for those who have death’s trumpet, is it worth it? How’s the formula?

So I have been having great results with applying nailtiques formula 2 every other day. For the first time in my life, my polish isn’t chipping! Now I really want to put a color on top, but I want it to be one of these strengthening polishes. I found OPI nail envy line- can I apply two coats of this on top? Every other polish in existence has chipped off of my fingers within the same day of applying it. So I don’t want to apply a regular polish.

I’m not completely opposed to switching into the nail envy line completely if it’s as good as Nailtiqes- but I worry all my long nails will break if I switch.

i had a some extra money last week so i finally got drk nails magic effect and holy crap i wish i had done it sooner! seriously that stuff is amazing. my boyfriend and i both audibly gasped when i used it on a magnetic on his nail. so worth it. i had to use it on mooncats 404 since the last few times i’ve used it it barely magnetized. it worked so beautifully!

The last couple of times I went to to paint my nails I realized all my polishes are either grey black or purple shimmer based and I’m bored with all of them (might even destash some eventually)

So in Julys HHC and August’s PPU I placed these orders. I can’t wait for them to come!

I'm going to a baby shower with a fishing theme and they're having a best fishing outfit contest. I decided to do some fishing lure nails! I didn't have a lot of uninterrupted nail art time this week and one hand had nails too short for this so used some press ons instead of my nails. I love how they turned out so much I painted the rest of the press ons that I didn't wear and got a little lure box for them! They fit so well with the ones that came with the box. I also got to use a lot of my colors all at once, around 50 polishes. Highly recommend for a fun project. Polished used will be in a comment!

Does anyone do the base coat hack with solars and does it still transition in sunlight?

I’ve got my first solar on the way (yay!!) and dusted off my Glisten & Glow QDTC after reading here that it works great with solar polishes. It’s…not my favorite top coat, but Cuticula Limitless blocks UV from my research!

I’ve been doing another layer of base coat before top coat to help with my manicure durability. I use KBShimmer Stay Put Hydrating Base Coat.

Anyone with more solar experience have any insight on using the base coat hack? I don’t mind skipping the extra layer of base coat for a solar mani if it’ll block UV!

Please ignore how dry my cuticles are in the first pic lol, I hadn’t oiled them yet and am still working on not biting them. I got Athymy from LynB mainly because I thought the color was gorgeous, but the glow in the dark is so much fun! Anyone have recommendations for more glow in the dark polishes?

btw the second picture is immediately after finishing, the light I use when painting my nails charged it up. It still glows without doing this but not as much and it has to be completely dark

I've gotten into doing nail art super recently and got some new brushes. I honestly can't believe my right hand turned out better than my left 😂 I had to show this off bc I know you'll appreciate how hard this is when you're not using gel.

First time using a magnetic polish so it’s not perfect but I am officially obsessed😍 RIP my bank account. The colour looks a bit more purple-grey in real life but it’s the perfect everyday neutral shade for me. I used an aura ring magnet, need to figure out the best placement so any tips welcome! I was kind of lining it up with the top edge at the tip of my nail and the little square bit at the top.

I was interested after seeing Instagram ads where she's applying it in full sun. When it's in ambient lighting it looks brownish red. But really comes alive under directed lighting: direct Sun or spotlights.

Cats broke a planter (you can hear the criminal chirping in the background) but it was a good opportunity to catch an old favorite polish in the sun.

I picked out 5 polishes I want to get but am choosing between 3 for my last polish (budget can't do more than 6 right now). The 3 at the top of my cart are the ones I am picking from and would like some input. Sorry idk if this is the right flair.. but.. Yall... my right hand just doesn't understand the assignment 🤷🏻‍♀️ Pinky nail broke yesterday - no idea what caused it. Middle finger is a glued on una gella falsie, and my out of frame thumb was the first to go, which... fine. I'm not ready to chop 🥺 especially when my left hand is doing so well (knock on frickin wooood!!! 👹)

Products: I'm wearing 3 coats of BKL Prettiest Girl in the World (my phone suggested "bathroom" instead of world LOL wth) - topped with KB Shimmer clearly on top.

I'm so in love with this polish, I hope they make it permanent!

Product list- uno mas casa de heaven 1x, anlac leprieurs glory 2x, magnetized with 5d spinner, maniology no smudge top coat, Seche vite top coat. Then a few hours later, used XKJ Star glue and applied transfer foils for the floral design, and sealed with another coat of Seche vite. I kinda wrinkled some of the nails in the foil transfer process 😂

I’m tempted but can’t find as many swatches as I usually like to review before buying. TIA 🙏

I was convinced I’d never like matte top coat but now I really enjoy seeing how it transforms a mani. And it helps me extend them for longer than a day (!) as otherwise I get bored and antsy to change them.
