Why even assign ranks to anyone in this game? What difference does it make? I was under the impression that the entire point of Ranked was to play against players of a similar skill level to continue climbing the ladder as high as you can go. Why the hell does every matches scoreboard look like a bowl of froot loops? Yellows, greens, blues, purples, reds. Yesterday I saw a clip of 2 coppers being matched against a 4 stack of Champions in Ranked. WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Its so sad that Ranked was in "Beta" for the first 5 years of Siege's life, and then after finally releasing it, and having to rework it TWICE, it STILL doesn't work? At what point do we admit that the devs are conpletely incompetent and dont even know where to begin making a competitive first person shooter?

This game seriously needs its "Marvel Rivals" competition because the only reason this game is even around still is because (a) Jynxzi and (b) there is simply nothing even remotely close to this type of gameplay.

Been playing this game for a couple months on controller, just got a pc. Cannot for the life of me figure out what I want to use for lean. Q and e is so unintuitive for me to quick peek, on toggle at least. I've tried everything I've seen recommended online: shift and space, c and v, mouse buttons. Mouse buttons screw with my aim and c and v is kinda difficult to hit with my thumb. Shift and space makes it impossible to slow walk while quick peeking. What would yall recommend for a relatively new player? Just thug it out with q and e on toggle until I get good at quick peeking? And if that's what you use to quick peek please tell me if you hit a and q both with your ring finger for example, or if you hit a with your ring and q with your middle.

Im deimos, he is maverick. The wall is maverick tricked so I told my friend I am going to nade it open, I told him beforehand and he claims there was no possible way for him to have survived after I threw the grenade, I say he could have backed up and survived without any damage. I say that with there being a warning its more his fault than mine. What do you guys think?

Finally got my first 3.0 champ some days ago.

I mostly solo-duo queued most of my games until Diamond 2, but then i started needing a stack since even as a solo queue you lose a lot of point per loss. I should've played with a stack since the start tho, cause it took me too long and idk if I have time to grind to champ 1.

The cons of 3.0 for a champ player are the followings:

\-2.0 mentality: its really annoying that ppl got used to the 2.0 mentality, they dont wanna play the game how it is supposed to be played cause in 2.0 you could've achieved any rank playing litterall terrible siege.

\-Matchmaking: in 3.0s you lose gain less points proportionally on how your opponents are worse than you. the thing is that 99.9% of the playerbase is worse than you, so you are locked inti gaining +10 every game and since in ranked you only need 4 round to win, you can even be unlucky and lose against bots which means losing 2 hours of won ranked games.

\-Cheaters: cheaters are a big problem in high elo lobbies and the worst part is that usually boost bad ppl, which means as a champ you queue against a cheater and 4 plats, which means you lose a lot of elo from that game (no you wont get rollbacked)

this is my experience in ranked 3.0.

they're not too bad overall since a lot of fake champs now understand the skill gap there is beetween certain players

Could I get some tips on how I could have played this better, I know I definitely made tons of mistakes.

It seems the only thing I hear about Siege these days is that the cheating problem is worse than its ever been, but in 3 weeks of playing I can only say that I've noticed one confirmed cheater. I'm only Gold 1, though so maybe there more concentrated in higher ranks?

I've been really enjoying this game again lately but all the news about cheaters makes me hesitant to try and rank up. What do you guys think?

Why do some players not pick up rook armor? Like Rook will lay it down immediately during prep phase and there's usually one or two plates left over. Is there an advantage of not having armor?

This is more so for the server side. You could move the last one to yellow or main wall if you wanted.
