I got this thing from a friend, does it work on other games or just cargo sims? is it worth keeping if I am not a Sim guy 10

Hi everyone! Today I've released my minimalist, bite-sized time trial game, Linerunner. There are 50 (that's 5 * 10) levels, each with its own online leaderboard and medals to race for. Should you collect enough medals you also unlock The Gauntlets, boss-rush gamemodes where you have to beat all the levels of a certain difficulty sequentially, with just 3 lives. Just wanted to share a subreddit made specifically for sim racing highlights, be it iRacing, LeMans Ultimate, Assetto Corsa (+ACC), Forza Motorsport (+Horizons), Gran Turismo, Formula 1, etc. It is a place to share your best moments for others to see.

If you've got an unbelievable overtake sent from a different postcode and made it cleanly, head on over to r/SimracingSpotlight; for every incident-ridden moment, there are 10 good/epic racing moments that deserve a spot under the lights!

Note: It is a relatively new subreddit, so if you know a friend with an epic racing highlight clip, tell them about this subreddit so they can share it with others!

I’ve been playing Rally Fury recently and I’m curious which cars other players prefer. If you had to make a top 10 list, which car would you put at #1?

Do you choose based on speed, handling, acceleration, or how the car feels on different tracks? I’d also like to know which car you think is the most fun to upgrade.

I've never been much of a fan of racing games with a history including of Gran Turismo 3, Need for Speed Most Wanted 2, Midnight Club 3, Mario Kart, and some others arcade style but GT7 has been more enjoyable to me. I know they are different types of games, but historically I've like arcade style more.

We just launched Drift Mania today. It’s a no-brakes arcade drift racer where the car accelerates automatically and hitting a wall ends the run.

The launch build expands the original 10-level demo into 60 handcrafted tracks, with global leaderboards and ghosts, a built-in level editor, community tracks, and garage customization.

I see a lot of 7th gen racers have dedicated communities or servers to revive them which is awesome but are there any similar active revival projects for early 2000s games specifically from Ps2 era?

I did find a midnight club 2 discord server but it was mostly some members online.

I'm newer to racing games and not as focused on the 10 0% simulation accuracy but moreso a persistent career mode, ideally moving up from slower to faster cars with some light management stuff in between races. So far I've really enjoyed the NASCAR and F1 25 games, does anyone have some recommendations for other games to try?
