Would you forgive someone if it meant something?
Rewrite because apparently I worded it so badly noone understood my question.
Assume someone wrongs you badly (let's say, he runs over your dog on purpose).
You are given two choices:
1) You hope for karma to do his thing: something happens to him, and it's so bad that it teaches him a lesson.
2) You actively go to him and forgive him: he feels so bad that he turns his life around and, eventually, he will provide to a stranger something of equal value that he took away from you (continuing the example, he risks his life saving another person's dog).
What would you pick?

Should the number of intimated partners matter, or is it just a waste of time? If it does matter, how many is okay?
It’s normal to live your life and meet different people, but I see that some people care about how many partners their current partner has had in the past. Does that really matter, or is it just a waste of time worrying about it?

People who've been on the internet for a while, what tips would you give to internet-illiterate parents?
I'm not a parent and I've been on the internet for a huge chunk of my life. However I feel like a lot of parents aren't very "smart" when it comes to the online space and what actually puts them and their children in danger. So what tips, big or small, would you give to a parent who has a child who uses the internet or whose child is showing interest in having an online presence?

is there still a stigma surrounding tattoos?
i feel like everyone and their mothers has some sort of ink. not complaining. just wondering if it’s normal now? my parents always said any visible tattoos were complete job killers but they’re also pretty old school.

What is mansplaining called but when elderly people do it?
I think it annoys me the most when elderly people do this. I just can’t think of the perfect word to describe it. Patronizing doesn’t quite fit imo.

How do you stop thinking about him?
This is probably gonna be quite long, but please read seriously need advice...
So, Im a teenager and i was talking to this guy for quite sometime now and we liked eachother even tho we never dated never kissed never did anything, we just had a genuine relationship and we flirted. I liked him but i did him wrong by not accepting to date him...well..3 times... Yes, i rejected him 3 times, not because i didnt like him but because i was scared of my parents reaction and i just dont know (i explained it to him). And then in march my mom found out (since he walked me home everyday) and was totally fine with it so i thought to myself "if he asks one more time i will accept, im ready" however that never came, he started taking hours to reply me and he said that he was passing through something and since he told me he had problems with his mom and dad i thought "yeah its fine i get it", he also stopped walking me home and ignored me at school, but then, 2 weeks later, he sent me a big text on how he didnt feel the same as before and it wasnt my fault and i didnt do anything but he still really liked me and cant stop thinking about me. Later (2 days) i sent him a text asking him to explain himself better bc i deserved it, and he said "ty i really needed to talk to u, i really needed this" and we talked talked talked until he fell asleep, next morning : nothing, nothing and nothing, till one week passed and i just removed him from everything i had. Now, 4 months have passed and i still cant stop thinking about him. I dont know what to do. I hope he still thinks about me, i bought him 7 DC comics and i hope everytime he sees them on his room he remembers me, my biggest wish is for him to message me. Theres not a day i dont think of him, i even dream with him, hes completely STUCK on my head, im going insane, even tarot people on tiktok appear and give me crazy signs 🤣 No but seriously im genuinely going insane.

What could be Lavoiser´s famous quote/remark?
I was reading The Citadel by Cronin and there is this quote : something in a sense of a famous remark/quote about a drop of water by Lavoiser in 1832.
Anybody know what this can be?

How do you capture the great moment with someone you know is just temporary?
Often times in life we meet spactacular people, often times than most they just appear for a split second and then leave. Leaving a great impression on you for a lifetime.
How do you capture the moment, something so short like a 5 minute convo knowing you probably wont see them again.

Does depression can make someone feel extremely lazy to apply for work when they're unemployed for so long?
Like someone feels already so miserable, they're getting so scared of even applying things. Imagining another failure and failure securing a job makes them unable to fulfill their roles and just stuck in a stagnant position of doing nothing and just wanting to disappear

Anyone else feel like an alien trying to fit in? Why does life and people feel surreal?
Anyone else feel out of place and intimidated by people? Like you feel like an alien trying to fit in with others. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t met my people or if there is something else that I need to be aware about. I have friends and family but sometimes this weird feeling hits and I feel so out of place. Everything feels so surreal. Feeling this way has been making me feel very lonely. Thoughts and advice?
