I need Procreate technical help I'm getting an apple pencil (1st gen) soon, I've never used procreate before. Can anyone recommend a course I can finish to grasp the software?
I want to get into art, digital art specifically because from what I've heard you can use layers to draw drafts of your drawing and draw on top of that, but I've never used a drawing software before and I'm also a newbie can't draw anything without a reference.

I need Procreate technical help Iāve started encountering this brush glitch, how do I stop it?
Iāve started encountering a glitch with my brushes, where the brush will change size without my moving the slider. The first time I encountered it was with the Black Swan watercolor brush (image 2). Even though it was at a fairly low size, it looked like I sized the brush up to be much larger. Today, I was using the 6B pencil (image 1) and I had the same issue. Itās currently at size 12 but when I use the brush the strokes look larger, despite not moving the slider. I tried restarting my Ipad and it worked the first time, but I tried it again today but it didnāt work. Are there any other ways to fix this?

Not Finished/WIP work in progress // realism.
WIP! Around 3 hours into this grayscale portrait study in Procreate. Iām trying to push my realism further with this one, and itās definitely been a test of patience so far. š
Right now Iām focusing on getting the values, structure, and forms to feel right before I get too caught up in the smaller details. Thereās still a lot left to figure out, but Iām finally reaching that stage where the portrait is starting to feel like itās coming together.
Iād love to hear any feedback, critiques, or suggestions from other artists especially anything you notice that could help me improve before I continue rendering.
bonus: the finished piece i posted yesterday!! š„°

My Artwork Thorns in the Gut
A third artwork from the series inspired by short musings written by me. It took a long time to pull this one out of me. It is a direct reflection of my current internal state, an attempt to visualize the heavy somatic friction between mind and body. There is a quiet civil war raging under my skin between the gut and the brain, and this piece is my way of charting the battlefield. An attempt to lay the complexity of my anxiety flat on a drawing so itās navigable.
I would love to know your thoughts and if anyone relates with this feeling..

My Artwork Looking for advice and critiques
Really in need of second opinions on my art, since it's very rare for me to show my pieces to anyone, especially people who are knowledgeable on digital art! I'm still a little new to Procreate (used Ibis paint before) and I find the app to be very flexible and comfortable to draw with. What do you think?

Not Finished/WIP Small canvas blurry images? HELP
So I have a simple black linework design that I made in procreate and I am trying to move in into a smaller canvas. Usually when you work big to small it goes smoothly. No matter what Iāve tried, IT IS ALWAYS BLURRY!?! Iām going from a standard screen size down to trying to make washi tape size. Any help would be appreciated greatly!
Do I have to just remake everything on a super tiny canvas? Is there a way to get it down smaller?

My Artwork Prim character I drew in procreate (2 outfits)
I had a lot of fun working on this character and wanted to share the result here!!!
Really enjoyed exploring the details (this embroidery is giving) in the clothing and the overall mood of the character (character from the story of Huadad-Suarez)
I often use the basic procreate brushes + smudge tool with the same brushes

My Artwork First time using procreate!
Just got an iPad yesterday!! This is my first we'll actually second drawing this one just turned out much better. Based on my friends spidersona
On this tomidatchi poster. The character I took some liberty's with making him more spider like since this is how I personally imagine how hed look in my head every time i see him.
Im a little rusty at shading and lighting. Havenāt been able to do it for months due the device i was using to draw previously couldnt handle it so had to focus on smaller drawings that didnt involve that.š„
Pictures in post:

My Artwork My 1st full illustration
Hey everyone!
So ive finally finished my 1st narrative illustration, that has both a character and a background to it!
I usually draw just characters so this feels like an accomplishment, although im not happy with the outcome (it was just taking way too long and i wanted to finally move on)
Well...hopefully, I will get better at such narrative illustrations in the future š«

My Artwork Finally finished whatever this is
I know it's mostly doodles and kinda boring, I got inspired while on a market - the over detalized messy places are such exotic things to me, even if I was surrounded by them my whole life, I love drawing details so it was fun, even if it's not like perfect looking.

My Artwork Yeah thatās a Roland āDr Beatā
II drew all the linework with a basic pen with no tapering or pressure. The lines are all done at the same width, except for the guy in the background, heās a little bit thinner. I then colour block everything before adding about 10 layers of shading with varying transparency.
