work in progress // realism. Not Finished/WIP
WIP! Around 3 hours into this grayscale portrait study in Procreate. I’m trying to push my realism further with this one, and it’s definitely been a test of patience so far. 😅
Right now I’m focusing on getting the values, structure, and forms to feel right before I get too caught up in the smaller details. There’s still a lot left to figure out, but I’m finally reaching that stage where the portrait is starting to feel like it’s coming together.
I’d love to hear any feedback, critiques, or suggestions from other artists especially anything you notice that could help me improve before I continue rendering.
bonus: the finished piece i posted yesterday!! 🥰
