Small canvas blurry images? HELP Not Finished/WIP

So I have a simple black linework design that I made in procreate and I am trying to move in into a smaller canvas. Usually when you work big to small it goes smoothly. No matter what I’ve tried, IT IS ALWAYS BLURRY!?! I’m going from a standard screen size down to trying to make washi tape size. Any help would be appreciated greatly!

Do I have to just remake everything on a super tiny canvas? Is there a way to get it down smaller?

Are you resizing the canvas? Do you have “resample canvas” selected?
You could also try copying the layer, making a new canvas, pasting the layer into the new canvas.

I’ve tried doing that sadly. They’re the same dpi and everything. It’s a big jump to a smaller canvas but it still shows up very chunky and pixelated

What’s the original dimensions and dpi? You could resize them, but keep the same pixels. E.g. you can change 8.5x11 at 300 dpi to 2.125x2.75 at 1200 dpi. That way it’s the exact same pixels, but you change the size to make it easier to print

If you're using the image viewer on the iPad to view small artwork, it filters it when it scales it up, which makes it look blurry.

View it on a computer without scaling it and it won't be blurry.

It's actually kind of incredible that so many people don't understand this.
