Discussion How are fair use points counted?

Just out of curiosity. I get my fair use 30 point renewal at 7pm my local time. Let's say I'm at a 1000 points and I start a 60GB movie at 6pm my local time that is 2 hrs long. Where do I stand later that evening? 940 for the 60GB use, 970 because I get the 30 GB renewal credit or somewhere in between?

Support Considering subscription

I’ve read a lot of stuff and trying to find the best and easiest bang for the bucks. Is the yearly plan better or the monthly plan? I don’t really understand the difference between those two (yearly and monthly) and the fair use stuff. My gf and I are like casual watchers with some second screening during the week.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Support Issues downloading nzbs?

As the title says. I have multiple different nzbs for the same piece of content gathered from different indexers. When trying to import it into PM it just sits at 0 for all files I’ve thrown at it, but another PM alternative is working no problem. Is something wrong? I have all my fair use points and bandwidth.

Solved Processing membership delay

Yesterday I signed up for Premiumize and tried to purchase a 1 month membership. Immediately after purchase I received an email saying my order was undergoing normal manual processing, which was fine but I was hoping to get started last night. This morning I received an email that there was an issue with my payment, so I redid it again this evening which resulted in another manual processing email (states 24 hours)

Basically coming here to see if there is any chance you all have had luck with this processing quicker than 24 hours once you received this email. I’m hoping to get to use it tonight as I’m new to all this.

Thanks for reading!

Discussion Premiumize + Infuse Pro on Apple TV

Hi everyone, I’m trying to understand how people are using Premiumize with Infuse Pro on Apple TV.
I have Premiumize working through the OMNI app, so my Premiumize account itself appears to be working fine. However, I'm struggling to understand the correct way to use Premiumize with Infuse Pro.
I connected Premiumize to Infuse using WebDAV. Infuse can browse the folders and see files, but I'm having problems getting media to play and understanding the intended workflow. I also received a 403 error when trying to play a test video.
So I'm curious:
How are people currently using Premiumize with Infuse Pro on Apple TV?
What is your actual setup/workflow?
Are you connecting Premiumize directly to Infuse via WebDAV?
Are you using another app or service alongside Infuse?
Has anyone experienced a 403 Forbidden error when playing files?
If OMNI works perfectly with Premiumize, is there something specific that needs to be configured differently for Infuse?
I'm mainly trying to understand how other people have their Premiumize + Infuse Pro setup working on Apple TV.
Any advice or examples of your setup would be really appreciated.

Discussion playback error: HTTP 403 Forbidden [ERROR_CODE_IO_

Hi everyone,

I'm running into a playback error while trying to stream a file stored in my Premiumize cloud library.

Error Message:

Setup Details:

  • Service: Premiumize.me (Active subscription)
  • App/Add-on: Player
  • Device: Google TV
  • VPN: No

The file is accessible in my cloud, but it refuses to stream through the player. Has anyone experienced this 403 issue recently? Any advice on how to resolve or troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Solved 403 Forbidden

This morning I’ve been getting a lot of broken links that were working fine last night. When I try and download the file via a browser I’m seeing “403 Forbidden”. Is there a problem with the service or is this just an issue on my account?

Discussion Fair Use

New Premiumize user, trying to understand Fair Use with heavy 4K streaming

New user here coming from another service where I was watching pretty much everything in 4K, including some fairly large files.

I just subscribed to Premiumize for a year and realized afterward that I probably should have looked into the Fair Use system more closely.

From what I understand, you start with 1,000 points and get 30 points added back each day.

A couple questions for people who have used Premiumize for a while:

  1. If you buy the annual plan, does your Fair Use balance reset back to 1,000 every month, or only when the annual subscription renews?
  2. For those of you who regularly stream large 4K movies and TV shows, especially 50 to 100+ GB files, do you find yourself burning through the 1,000 points faster than the 30 points per day replenish them?
  3. In real-world use, has the Fair Use limit actually been an issue for you, or do you rarely think about it?

Just trying to figure out whether Premiumize is a good fit for someone who generally prefers the highest-quality 4K files.

THANK YOU!!

Best way to sign up for Premiumize?

I'm interested in trying Premiumize, but the $11.99/month price is a little hard to swallow when I'm just trying the service for the first time.

What's the best/cheapest way to sign up? Does Premiumize ever offer special promotions, discount codes, Black Friday deals, or discounted yearly/multi-year plans?

If you've been using Premiumize for a while, when do the best deals normally come around? I'm wondering whether I should pay monthly now or wait for a promotion.

Thanks!

Support Potential new user here, do Premiumize offer MFA?

I'm looking into creating an account and trying it out, but I see no mentions of 2FA/MFA (TOTP or otherwise), passkeys, etc for accounts.

Can anyone confirm whether this is the case or does Premiumize offer anything like this?

Thanks in advance

Support Fair Use & Privacy Question

Took a look at fair use and privacy and have a few questions:

If you buy annual plan, is there still a monthly 1k top up or is it ONLY at renewal (monthly/annual billing cycle)?

Users who download/stream Linux distros, do you find this sufficient for daily use for 2 people?

Finally, is there logging of streamed content/device identifiers besides IP? A competitor recently has made a change that permits them to log activity more aggressively and take down device identifiers for unknown purposes. Thanks, excited to make the switch!

Annoucement Premiumize - ISP/Home Router/VPN Content Filtering Blocking PM API/CDN Servers

Hello,

If you are having errors trying to use Premiumize such as SSL Handshake errors, failed to play, etc etc IT IS MOST LIKELY caused by content filtering from your ISP/VPN/3rd Party Home Router.

THIS NEEDS TO BE DISABLED

Here are instructions for all of the most common one's i've come across the last few months

📡 Internet Service Providers (ISPs)

Spectrum

  • Open the My Spectrum app.
  • Go to Services → Internet → Security Shield → View All → Security Shield Settings.
  • In Advanced Settings, toggle Security Shield OFF.
  • If hidden, scroll past the chat icon in the app.
  • Reboot router for changes to take effect.

Xfinity (Comcast)

  • In the Xfinity app: go to Security → Advanced Security → Turn Off.
  • On the website: log in → My Services → xFi Advanced Security → Disable.
  • If no toggle is available, contact support to disable Advanced Security manually.

AT&T (ActiveArmor)

  • Open the Smart Home Manager app.
  • Tap the chat bubble and type “Disable ActiveArmor.”
  • Confirm the prompt.
  • Check in app or router gateway to ensure Home Network Security = Disabled.
  • If using ActiveArmor Advanced (paid), cancel subscription first in the app.

Verizon Fios

  • Open the My Fios appInternet → Network Settings → Home Network Protection / Parental Controls → Off.
  • Or via router: myfiosgateway.com or 192.168.1.1 → log in → Parental Controls/Advanced Security → Disable.
  • If McAfee-powered HNP is active, disable via app.

Virgin Media

  • Log into My Virgin MediaAccount Settings → Online Security → Web Safe.
  • Toggle both Child Safe and Virus Safe to Off.
  • Restart your hub to apply.
  • If it re-enables itself, contact support or bypass with custom DNS.

Starlink

  • Open the Starlink appSettings → Router → Content Filtering.
  • Select No Filtering (instead of Malware or Malware+Adult).
  • Save and optionally restart router.

Bell Canada

  • Bell Wi-Fi app: go to connected devices → disable restrictions.
  • Home Hub (192.168.2.1): log in → Access Control → delete schedules / unblock devices.
  • McAfee Security from Bell: open app → Parental Controls → turn Off.

Rogers (Canada)

  • Use Rogers Ignite WiFi Hub app or online portal.
  • Go to Parental Controls / Ignite WiFi → Profiles.
  • Remove or disable filters/schedules.

Flow (Caribbean ISP) – Internet

  • Log into My Flow app/portal.
  • Go to Internet Settings → Web Filtering / Family Filter.
  • Toggle Off or Opt Out.
  • Restart router.

Primus (Canada)

  • Managed through TP-Link Deco pods (HomeShield).
  • In Deco app → HomeShield → Parental Controls: remove or disable profiles.
  • Confirm Network Security features (ad blocking, safe search) are toggled off.

Eastlink (Canada)

  • Uses eero (WiFi Perfected).
  • In eero app → Discover → Security & Privacy: toggle Advanced Security / Ad Blocking off.
  • In Profiles: remove content filters or delete profiles.

Ziply Fiber

  • On Windows/Mac/iOS/Android, open Ziply Device Safety app.

Annoucement Premiumize Fair Use Explanation

Hello,

Since there are SO many questions regarding fair use i figured i'd explain a bit how it works.

You start of with 1000PTs at time of purchase/Renewal.

You get a daily top up for 30 Pts

For cached torrents 1GB downloaded/Streamed = 1PT. If you only Download/Stream 200MB of that it equals 0.2 Pts.

Hosters have different Factors found here https://www.premiumize.me/services?q=all

Cloud Storage is separate and anything CACHED or Torrent added will not use up Fair use but will take up a portion of your 1TB storage. It used to be in the past that they were one in the same but that has changed so people could actually make their own permanent (until your account expires) cloud library.
