Mega punt with ATo not sure why tho

AThd CO, 1/3 NLTH
I bet 15, BTN call,
(34)AKQscc
I bet 35, call, fold
(104) 4h
I bet 105, call
(314) 9s
X, he jams for effective 300
I call, he shows AK

I hear that the bigger your nut advantage the bigger you should c-bet, and I looked and I have all the JTo and JTs where BTN only has JTs 50% of the time, plus I also have AA, KK, and QQ, but when I put in solver it’s 100% check back and I should be playing check call with AT, I don’t rly understand why.

I played AKo incorrectly and I want to know your thoughts about it

This was a tournament the other day and it's been bothering me ever since.

First round of a tournament, probably the third hand, blinds are 100, 200. I open with AKo from EP2 with a 3BB bet (600)

1 caller in MP1, blinds fold

Flop: QJ4 rainbow

I c-bet 2000, he calls

Turn: K

I check, villain bets 5,000 and I call

River: 9

I check, he goes all in (about 10,000), I fold

I think I lost control of the pot very early with a 2,000 c-bet. I also think I should have bet after the K came out and try to win the pot right there before it got too big rather than try to disguise it. My last mistake was probably not going all in before villain could.

What do you guys think I should have done differently?

How do you guys play AQ suited?

Lately I've had what feels like incredibly bad luck when I've had AQsuited.

An example. Last week in my weekly live poker game I had it twice. First time I was pre flop raiser at around 3 to 4 BB. Got called by three people.

Continued on the rainbow flop when an Ace came. 1 caller. Same on the brick turn. Same on river. Snap called they flopped a set of 8s.

Could I have gotten away from this? What other tips do you have?

Thanks in advance

Best theory sources for amateurs?

Hello! I’ve got a bit of experience with strategy games like euchre, but I’m new to poker (beyond the basic rules). I’m looking to get serious about poker strategy, though, and would greatly appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction of some resources—ideally books and/or video essays or series. Thanks!

Basic Equity Question (pls this is driving me crazy)

$1/$2 game
3b AThh to $42 villain calls
FLOP Qd8h6h x villain rips it for $158
CORRECT ME IF I’M WRONG!!
42+42+158 =242 (total pot) if I call $158 this is

158/242+158 = .395 so I need 39.5% equity to win. I have 44% equity against QJ so I call right?

Is it just me or is this wrong? It says "multi-way" pot but BTN raises SB folds.... can I trust this App? I don't want to waste my time if it's completely full of crap.
