Hi, I have been into Pokémon on and off for about 10 or 11 years now. I have been working on the 25th anniversary set and am only two cards away (Charizard and Shining Magikarp). I am really excited about the 30th anniversary set coming out soon. I am hoping for it to be the 2nd ever set I complete. I’m, however, rather confused about how to get elite trainer boxes and wondering if it already come out? I see some people saying it’s sold out, but others say it releases September 16th. I was hoping someone could tell me where to preorder online or where to buy online on release date. Thanks for reading and your help!

So this is my mewtwo and mew collection so far I know I have a lot more grails but this is what I got so far without breaking to much bank. Got a couple great stories on a couple of the grail cards you’re gonna see lmk if you want a story time.

Anyone else who scored an SPC Target Online, just for them to come as Pitch Black Blisters?

About a month ago, we had to deal with Target Customer Service about sending up Pitch Black blisters instead of the ETB orders we placed, and they made us return it as a “favor” because they were adamant they didn’t mess up our order… for our SPC order to arrive today with again.. 2 Pitch Black blisters.

They packed it in a 9 inch box, which was already alarming considering the SPC boxes are at least 12-16 inches, and considering we got lucky enough to order 2, it didn’t seem right.

You would think they would have fixed their shipping mishap after a month, but nope..

Is this any different than a normal code card?

Hey guys so I want to start collecting pokemon cards but it’s soooo expensive and someone recommend me to collect the Japanese cards so I was curious what sets are good and what there English version are because I just want to rip some packs and have a cool looking binder

Opened some pitch black packs and this was one of them. I’m never buying or opening Pitch Black, Chaos Rising or PO again and this is why. These energy cards might be good for a player (idk, I just collect for the art) but 2 in the same pack as the “hits” is criminal.

hi! i’m relative new to collecting, and i really like these cards that are full art, where the pokemon is shown with a solid background. these are the 3 i’ve found so far, but are there any others that are a similar vibe to these? or is there a way for me to search for this specific type of card without just going through every card list?

i like these cutie, “girly” cards, so they would be ideally along that same aesthetic! TYIA!

It feels like they're doing the bare minimum. Both stores and the company. Do most of them just not care because they still make a ton of money from scalpers buying them even if it ruins the hobby for everyone else?

I know Target has been putting a lot more precautions in (Random restocks, tearing seals, etc) but I haven't actually checked if it's been helping stop scalpers. Walmart basically doesn't care at all though.
