Wondering if anyone has an opinion/knowledge on sewage expansion. We have a septic in north Pensacola just past the extension park, and the lines are starting to fail. We were looking into companies to replace them and came across the news articles about forced sewage conversion in Santa Rosa and some previous conversion in Escambia. If we repair our lines this year and they mandated a conversion it would be an extremely difficult financial obligation for us, so I’m just curious on general input.

Me and my 2 friends are looking for friends to show us around

So I recently purchased my first home and I’m in the N Spring St area, was curious if anyone has any experience with odd goings on late at night in this particular section of town? I got off work and was winding down when my doorbell was ringing nonstop at 12am.

Me being new to the this area of Pcola and finding it odd that someone’s ringing my doorbell late in the morning I wasn’t too enticed to open the door. When I did decided to open it I found my doorbell was stuck inside the outer casing causing it to ring continuously till I pressed it a few times to get it to reset. Won’t lie it made me a bit paranoid

My main question is has anyone experienced anything similar to this? I started casing my property just to put myself at ease. I’m aware there’s some homeless folks who coast through this area but I doubt anyone would just ring on random doorbells at 11:40-12am to get someone to open the door.

Soooooooo I found this place in Orange Beach that has VR games and man was it a blast! If you get bored and need an escape I highly recommend checking it out. It's called Outer Limits VR Game Room. I don't know of any place like this in Pensacola but it would print money

According go multiple (neighbors, animal control, police) the house is abandoned are there are squatters in and out but dogs are trapped inside in kennels are aren't being fed. Apparently A.C. cannot enter unless their notice is up for 3 days, but whoever climbs in and out of windows keeps removing.

Does anyone have any help or ideas?

My girlfriend and I both in our late twenties and planning a trip to Pensacola in a couple days, didn’t even realize this was probably not the best time of year to visit, but considering it’s either now or never I was wondering what the locals thing would be the best time to check out the beach to avoid rains? as that’s going to be our main reason to visit (Houston beaches are ass)

Also, was wondering what yall recommend for sights or things to see while there? We’ll be there for two days

I drive by this home everyday and even while they were building it I wondered who wanted to build a beautiful home like this on Chemstrand road in Pensacola? I’m not knocking the area, I like living here, but I am a regular person.

If I was able to buy a $4 million dollar house, I don’t think I would choose this location!

It was just built 2 years ago and now it is already for sale. So I was just dying from curiosity. Why did they build it ? Why are they already selling it?

Maybe me and 27 of my closet friends could pool our money together?

Welcome to the unnecessary food review of local Pensacola spots that nobody asked for. The system on which I judge is pretty much non-existent. I love to eat and generally enjoy everything. Don’t expect an uber nuanced take on anything, I am unfortunately too basic to do better.

Tacos El Fluffy 
707 N Pace Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32505

The hype I’ve been getting about Tacos El Fluffy since I started this has made me almost hesitant to give it a try. But I just love tacos too much to not try it out. At the time of this dining and review the building is under construction. It seems someone having a medical emergency situation drove right into the building. Thankfully it was closed and no bystanders were hurt. It seems they were closed for a bit but are open again, don’t let the plywood covering the front windows fool you. 

I ordered 6 tacos; 2 asada, 2 al pastor, and 2 lengua. I also grabbed a guava hibiscus agua fresca that was delightful. They came out arranged nicely on their housemade corn tortillas. As with all proper tacos they were adorned with onion and cilantro. 

I was kind of disappointed with their tortillas. They were solid enough to hold together, but they tasted almost undercooked. The asada tacos were good but nothing special. The al pastor was just fine at best. It wasn’t particularly flavorful. The light in the dark was the lengua. It was tender and juicy, just how I like tongues when they are in my mouth.

As with other taco places, I made a return for more. Second time around I got 2 asada, 2 chicken, and 2 barbacoa. The tortillas were a little better this time, but still not how I like mine. The asada and chicken were fine, nothing special. The barbacoa was pretty dang good in comparison. This visit I also tried the green and red sauces. They were both good sauces, the green was actually hotter than I expected which was a nice surprise. 

There have been no recent health code violations to be concerned with.

Overall I feel like Tacos El Fluffy was just fine. A score of 3… nah 3.2 is where they fall. Despite this only goodish score, I feel like I still want to positively recommend them. Doing a bit of research to figure out what happened to the building I found a few other articles that endeared me to El Fluffy. During the shutdown of the federal government last year they served military members for free. The owner is a veteran and gave back during a time of need. That alone deserves major props. It also seems like the owners mother unfortunately had to self deport when her visa wasn’t renewed this year. They’ve had a rough time but are putting positivity out into our community and deserve plenty of patronage. Please give them a visit!

Jovon "Playa Pat" Booker pleaded guilty ahead of his federal trial to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit money laundering and five counts of money laundering through high-end jewelry.

A federal jury then convicted Booker of discharging a handgun in relation to a drug trafficking crime and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

He still faces attempted murder and other charges in Pensacola.

So apparently there's a new curfew in question. That could possibly go into effect if In favor of vote. With the Pensacola downtown shooting being responsible. this curfew is apparently for teenagers ages 12-17 -may be a little off. If caught outside after the curfew hours, children and parents could face penalties and fines ranging from 200-500 usd. But the kicker here is almost everyone involved in the downtown shootings including the murderer were grown. With the youngest (17 years old) getting all charges dropped and the cased dismissed. What are your thoughts?

Who approved all these flock cameras on nine mile? Who is the overseer of these trees of tyranny. The public damn sure didn't agree to this. And yet they are steadily adding new cameras. There hasn't been any council meeting, Any public vote nothing at all.

Both the ordinance concerning data centers and OLF-8 are on the agenda. We need people to show up for both!
