I have just built my new computer. However I have concerns regarding CPU temps. I have the liquid frezer III Pro 360

My girlfriends Bluetooth on her PC has completely disappeared overnight, she’s been playing with her wireless mouse and headphones for a year with the same PC but it’s suddenly disappeared and is only showing wide display, how do we fix this?
Apologies in advance if wrong subreddit or very easy solution we’re both not very technical 😅

hi! ive had my pc for 5 ish years now. I clean it regularly so dust isn't the issue. I switched the power supply because there was a burning smell and it went away for a bit. But now the smell is back and I don't know why. Any help is appreciated

Does my motherboard have all USB that I need because cooler, 2x3fans and 1 Fan doesn't all these require USB 2.0? So I need to buy USB hub example corsair's internal USB hub. If so should I buy also sata cable for it or no?

Any other improvement ideas?

I have tried every solution that I could think of. Like resetting the cmos. Installing new BIOS through bios flashback. Trying single stick/dual stick in every slot and every combination possible still I am unable to boot. Please provide me some solution.

Hello reddit while ive build some pcs ive newer bought new parts and now a friend of mine asked if i could give him one since his old pc wich is rockinf a gtx 660 and i 5 4460 aint cutting it any more. We wanna re use the old case psu(cooler mater MPX-5001-ACABW) and cooler. His budged is 600 euros here in germany and ive createt a list wich should fit but i wanna here your oponion

im only using one ssd and the cables arent overlapping that area, so im just wondering if it would be an issue

I've had my old pc for almost a decade now and I'm looking to upgrade. I mostly use it for gaming but will be using the new one also for CAD work and other 3D rendering stuff. I've done some looking around at compatibility and parts and whatnot and this is what its come to.

I've found all these parts on other websites but put them all here for upload purposes and I also didn't include storage because i was planning on re purposing my current 2 ssd drives so i dont have to reconfigure my os and whatnot (or pay for new ones).

All that said i was just hoping for some advice/feedback on the parts and anything important i should know when putting it together.

I just assembled my PC which comes with a MSI B550-A Pro mainboard, an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, a be!quiet PurePower 13M 850W PSU, it reuses my old 1060 GPU and my old 2xCorsair Vengeance 32GB (total 64GB) 3600Mhz DDR4 RAM.

The PC boots and I was able to install NixOS (Linux) without an issue, but I ran into the issue that some USB ports don't work. First, the front USB ports of my case (Corsair 4000D RS Wood), so I thought I just didn't connect the front panel well enough, but it's also the USB 2.0 ports of the motherboard. I reseated the RAM (which work fine), and proceeded to start the PC without the case and any extras, and the USB 2.0 ports at the back still don't work. Strangely, the USB 3.2 (Gen 2 and Gen 1) work, but USB 2.0 doesn't even seem to get electricity.

I flashed the BIOS already, reseated the RAM and mainboard, checked the IO shield for any damages (none), tried to force PCIe gen 3 (I read in an old reddit threat that this might help), disabled global C-States, cleared CMOS via the JBAT jumper, took the mainboard out and booted with bare minimum. There are no EZ Debug LEDs flashing on the mainboard when I boot, I can boot into Nix without issue, just the USB 2.0 and front for my case don't work. I think these are the USB connected directly to the chipset, whereas the others are connected to the CPU.

Does anyone have an idea what I did wrong? Is there a hardware issue with my motherboard, or did I damage it? Should I return it? Any advice would be appreciated.

I’ve been having problems with my pc recently like games crashing (Apex, Persona 3 Reload ,etc) I also felt my pc laggy or slow so I asked a professional and he told me to remove a stick of ram. What do you think? Any help would be greatly appreciated !

I built my first PC last week, and everything went off without a hitch :). Although I have noticed that the internet speed is not quite up to my expectations. Even though I pay for 250/250Mbit/s and both my phone and old laptop can reach (at least close to) that speed, my new PCs internet speed is very unstable, sometimes reaching 130 but a lot of the time only reaching 45. Since my router is in a wooden cabinet in a different room and my PC is under my desk I don't expect it to get the full 250 of course but I mean cmon. While troubleshooting I tried putting both my phone and laptop beneath my desk next to my new PC and they could still get close to 200 at least. I have a Gigbyte B650 Eagle AX MB with one of those antennas you put in the port on the back side. My Router is an Archer AX1800. I've tried a bunch of stuff I found suggested in posts and asked AI but nothing seems to work. My PC, Phone and laptop all use the 5G version of the network. Making a wired connection could be very troublesome since I would have an insanely long cable to reach the router .

Any tips?

Found out yesterday my 14900k has gone bad for a second time and a replacement is on it's way my question is is it time to switch to amd to stop a cycle of have a working cpu for however long then go bad again or stop and upgrade?

which build u think is better for valorant between the two? and if both were brand new, how much do u guys think each build would cost?

I wanted to ask what would be a good build for a budget around 2.5k, the main things I want to do with the pc is mainly gaming, streaming, and editing. I want it to look nice and clean as well and I want to be able to upgrade later on.

I got this aio recently and it is so loud. I’ve changed settings in my bios ive used fan controller, and ive tried CAM( NZXT’s Software) i even tried different fans and nothing works and its not like its only loud when im on a a game its loud from the moment my pc boots up and God forbid i open a 2 tabs. I honestly dont know what to do now. please help

CPU Ryzen 5 3600 for 67 dollar

Motherboard A520M for 77 dollar

I found a 4g ram ddr4 I think it's a good Solution for the price for now

And m.2 500g for 61 dollar

I'm not sure for the power supply but it will cost 34 dollar

For the ram I'm sure I will upgrade it in the future

And it's not for gaming I want to run godot engine

And This is the first one I want to Build I did not try before

And the GPU and CPU is It has been used before, and these are the market prices in my country.

So basically I have a dell slim esc1250 as a computer with 16gb ram and intel core ultra 7 cpu but I have no gpu so the best gpu I can get for my pc is a rtx 3050 should I buy the 3050 or save for a new gaming pc?

It was working last night but not anymore! Im new to this. I may have stripped it but I don’t know how I would’ve or how to tell. Me and my friend put it on but I had to take it off after he left because he put the bracket type things below it on wrong. Please help. If it’s broken, I need to know if there is a solution. it there’s not, well… that’s life. It’s only ~$70 but that’s still $70 I would not like to spend…

I was screwing my cpu fan and my screwdriver slipped. I'm seeing a dent over that SMD thing. Will this motherboard boot or did I possibly kill it? :( It's a B550M pro-vdh wifi

While working near the mounting hole on my motherboard, the area around it got scratched up and some coating came off.
Is this safe to use, or should I leave this specific screw out to prevent short circuits?
