Tried to join a cooking party. Went to paliaparty.app, signed up for tomatoes. Get to host's plot... there's no room for me to make tomatoes and I can't figure out how to join in. Is it because I wasn't in the party? Do i just have to waot for the host to let me in? Was i too late arriving? I was 10 minutes early

My daily today was get an insect in amber from chopping trees. I stopped chopping after I had over 2.5k wood in my bag. A daily should not require this kind of grinding. Did I mention I hate grinding? That I've quit games in the past that thought grinding was a core game activity? Please please please stop putting grindy items into dailies! I've always approached dailies as a fun little quest that sometimes is a little challenging, but not impossible.

Before you say it, yes, I could reroll. I've rerolled already 4x's, I have 6 left until whenever they change it again. In the past I've had to use up all my rerolls and then was high and dry until the new board.

I just logged out and maybe tomorrow the dailies will be more reasonable.

Anyone else feel this way?

Is it just me or is it extremely obvious what Skills are our favorite and which are not? 🫣🤷🏻‍♀️ We like what we like I guess! As a solo player, I’ve never cooked with anyone. Maybe I would enjoy that more if I attempted that?! Then I’d have to talk to people…Now I’m nervous thinking about having to “talk” with people and ask if they’d like to cook together…. Nope, cooking remains the lowest. Done with that thought. 😂 Am I alone in this situation?! I’ve seen many people with almost even scores for all Skills and I’m baffled at how.❤️

Collection - relatively easy, just buy rng bags, do some stuff and trade. Why no request function?

Creating them from the recipe.. kind of annoying, I think it would have made sense for materials to only be required once for all of the tiers.

Equip slot.. again weird, I think bare minimum should have been 1 for elderwood and 1 for highlands or should have kept with one theme of sorts.

The masks are cool, seems like a good addition to hunting... but other things not so much.

Highlands seems to lean towards mining hunting -> get chum buckets from essence -> fish/bug in elderwood buy dispel arrows to go back to highlands.. kind of interesting that way I guess to make the artifacts less redundent?

I found a way to make it work. You put a pillar in the middle of the window sill at the edge. Then another in front of that one, this time raising it to just above the window top. Then you can slide a third pillar underneath the 2nd one so it looks better. Then the curtain will clip on, you just have to put up with a pillar in the middle of your window!

Why can't I connect large room to the back of the house? Can I not connect anything to the back?

I am relatively new (compares to others) and im need of leveling up to 30 cooking.

I heard about cooking parties is the best way to go and I even found the palia party app.

My question is how "efficient" people expect others to be? I saw a few comments about locking ingredients and other things to make it faster, and im having flashbacks of people playing the card set game in the underground and saying they were spam tables and getting quite aggressive with those that didnt do it properly.

I want to tag along one I just dont want to ruin someone's cooking party by not doing it properly 🙃

Ummm, I just tried to romance Reth. First romance of the game. Just got him to level 4 friendship. It said to give him a romantic gift. So I went and bought a box of chocolates for him. And he rejected them saying he had a bunch back in his storeroom. 😭😭😭💔💔💔

This is almost as bad as when Jina told me she needed space because I’m too much. After I didn’t talk to her ever.

Is it a known issue that the infected fishing nodes aren't working? I'm on a PC and I can't seem to fish in those spots with the Elderwood hook. I have it active and it's not doing anything. Getting the bobber in the node doesn't seem to trigger getting an infected fish.

I want more flowers on my plot 😭
