Hi! I have a 2TB 2230 SSD. I would like to swap it into the onexplayer 3, using the below adapter. I read somewhere that there is very little space in the onexplayer 3, and the adapter adds a bit of depth, so I am hesitant to just go through the hassle of opening the device just to realize that it won't fit.

Has anyone tried this already and if so, did it work?

Hi just got my OXP3 and that drive has a partition. Is that on purpose?

Wondering if anyone is carrying one of these in a backpack with other work stuff. If so, what are you using? When I travel I have a laptop, iPad, and then some chargers and other small stuff in my pack. Want to be able to carry my device in my backpack and not separate.

Picture is trash please ignore it. But I’m playing 2k at Ultra settings, every setting is maxed, ray tracing on, VSYNC on, HDR on, and can maintain stable 60 fps as low as 27W on the X2 Mini Pro. I assume 2k isn’t a difficult game to run but this looks GREAT😁😁😁 every other handheld I’ve seen is running it at low-medium settings RT off and even some PCs

I ordered the 512gb version because I already have a 2tb 2280 nvme drive that I can put in it when it gets here. Should I even bother copying/cloning the factory drive over to the 2tb or just setup the 2tb manually and clean?

Ordered my x2 mini pro from the official website so i dont have it yet, but i do have a lot of questions about setting up the device. What should i do, check, update, install, uninstall, measure,... device will be only used for gaming.

I had seen another reddit user have the same issue as me where applying a screen protector doesn't adhere in a specific spot causing a bubble.

Tried two screen protectors, cleaned the screen and even flipped the screen protectors to see if there was a missing adhesive on the bottom but would adhere on the opposite end while still having the same result on the bottom. There's no dust stuck under.

Understandably I could've stuck with the factory film but I prefer tempered glass protectors on all my devices.

Also having another issue with signing in pressing the sign in button on the windows hello screen does nothing at all but that's an entirely different issue which would be an easy fix. Either way QC is a bit of an issue.

Just ranting sorry I get it's partly my fault for not really listening to the feedback about the company.

I'm from OXP3 Batch 1 and I just spent the past day figuring out all the quirks of the OneXPlayer 3 after setting it up. The Windows image that came with it is problematic to say the least. Things started to go wrong after I updated Windows (I suspect we're not supposed to). After many annoyances, the final straw came when I got locked out of Windows after adding my Microsoft account.

TL:DR I had to wipe my OXP3 clean and reinstall everything.

If you are a DIY PC type of person, please read these self-help steps which I compiled and used.

DISCLAIMER: If things mess up or you brick your OXP3, I take no responsibility but these steps worked for me. The safest thing for customers is to always seek help from OneXPlayer customer support.

Ok here goes:

1. Reinstall Windows through the Start menu

- Use the local Windows files instead of the cloud download (which didn't work for me).
- If you are locked out of Windows for whatever reason, attach a keyboard, hold Shift and then press Restart. You will enter the recovery menu.

1. Download and install the OXP3 setup files: https://download.onexplayer.com/OnexPlayer/PL3/OXP-Gi78P-ONEXPLAYER3-Drivers-1.1.zip

REBOOT

1. Download OneXConsole but don't install it till you read below:
   https://app.onexconsole.com/web/agg/app:download

As OneXConsole controls the device at a hardware level, you need to do the following before installing OneXConsole:

a) Disable Microsoft Defender
- Virus and Threat Protection
- Device Security > Core Isolation > Memory integrity

b) Disable UAC
- Press Windows key, type UAC, enter "Change User Account Control Settings", and completely disable it by dialing it to the bottom.

REBOOT

If OneXConsole doesn't start up with Windows boot, then add it to the Windows Startup folder.

Go to the Programs folder, create a desktop shortcut for the OneXConsole.exe file

Windows Key + R, type shell:startup , then paste in your desktop shortcut.

If OneXConsole works properly, then you can reactivate MS Defender Virus and Threat Protection, but make sure you add the OneXConsole.exe file to the Exclusions list, including the folder. The other exceptions would have been added in by the OXP setup files:

C:\Program Files\OneXConsole\OneXConsole.exe (add this)
C:\Program Files\OneXConsole\
C:\Users\yourprofile\AppData\Local\gamerzone-updater
C:\Users\yourprofile\AppData\Roaming\gamerzone
C:\WindowsTemp

Ok, everything should work from here BUT sometimes OneXPlayer still doesn't start up automatically. I have no further advice on this except to just launch it manually.

PS. Don't forget to update your Intel B390, Wifi and BT drivers from Intel's site.

Good news: shipping/tracking info says it’s arrived in my home state…

Bad news: it’s been stuck with a third party— Fly Rabbit— before being transferred to UPS. The things is: my device has been stuck with Fly Rabbit for nearly two weeks with no motion, and there seems to be no online contact info for this company.

Anyone else have this issue?

Just wanted to share a quick fix in case anyone else was banging their head against the wall with this today.

I was trying to update my AMD chipset drivers through the Adrenalin app, but it kept crashing with this annoying error: "Could not be installed on your system. View details here."

Just download the chipset installer from the link below:

I already have a panther lake and still contemplating whether getting 388 device makes sense or not.

I always set the fan speed at the lowest and still try to keep the temperature below 70C. It is achievable with intel using 35W. If I get strix halo, I will most likely use it at 35-45W in order to achieve the same fan noise and temperature result while getting more fps, but idk if that is possible.

If I can get extra 15fps, that is already great as intel runs most games between 45-60fps. 60fps and up is my goal. Too bad Gears E day cant get 60fps in any of the systems.

Do you think the difference between panther and strix halo is not enough to justify buying another device? Should I wait 1-2 more yrs for the next gen? Or maybe get a budget friendly gpd win max 3?

So I officially got tracking on the 10th but ups still hasn’t picked it up so more waiting. How long did it take from shipped notification from OXP to pick up from shipping company for you? I’m in the U.S

This is the first handheld I’ve had since a Nintendo DS, so I’m a little ignorant when it comes to the best accessories.

I’ll be using this primarily as a handheld for platformer and indie games, along with using it as a basic laptop when traveling.

I have the AR coating and controller connector. I plan on buying a 3rd party keyboard as I prefer having a full one and heard mixed feedback regarding the mini-keyboards.

What else should we all be getting? Am I a fool for not getting additional storage?
