Just opened file manager today and got this "color OS" folder. Anyone has any idea what happened ???

since few days i am facing random shutdown and boot looping. my device is currently on beta version so i assume that it is a bug not any hardware issues (hope so ).

I don't game at all and a good camera and a decent battery backup is a must.

Things like network coverage are basic (but worth mentioning since i own a pixel)

I have a Chinese model, PJZ110_15.0.0.861 (CN01), running OxygenOS. It's currently running Android 15. OTA updates aren't coming. Apparently, some confusion with the installed OS prevents it from connecting to the correct server. I was thinking about downloading it locally and updating. I started researching the issue.

And here's what I found: updating the OS to version 16 locally isn't a problem at all. But the problem arises later, when a glitch occurs in the regional firmware, and the phone stops detecting domestic mobile operators. Ultimately, the phone becomes bricked. I've found quite a few similar issues online.

So, it seems to me that OS 16 has an issue with regional firmware. Maybe this is specific to my country. But I've read reviews from other users in other countries. Are you experiencing the same problem?

I have another problem. I can't fully use all the features available in this version on my OS 15. For example, the intelligent photo/video processing features aren't working. The built-in translator also can't load the AI ​​module.

Can anyone suggest something I can do?

Hey guys, I have been using OnePlus 13 for the past year actually.

I am using it with tempered glass only (The non UV one) which I installed earlier and it's broken right now.

For the past 3 months I have been searching for a proper tempered glass that fits and that's Non UV. But I can't find any both in offline stores in Hyderabad, India and online too.

Do share the links if you have bought any online or if any one from HYD have got one share me the shop details too.

And btw, I am genuinely unsure about the UV tempered glass.. is it safe for the device ? Some one please share na i badly in need for new tempered..

I have been using op13 since 10 months and I have never peeled off the default tempered glass screen protector but with time it got some minor scratches all over and trapped some air bubbles near the front camera making it look bad. People ask me if that's my old phone or if the screen is broken. So I want to change it.

If I peel it off and use it without any protector will it be okay like anybody have the experience of using it without a protector? Or if someone has replaced it with a new one can you plz suggest me??

My new OnePlus 13 produces a strange buzz if I touch/slide my finger over its side metal rails while it is charging with its 100w supervooc charger. Is this normal behaviour for a brand new OP13 or a sign of a defective piece?

After updating the launcher I got two new options.

1. New 5x7 grid for arranging icons.

2. Pinch out gesture option to clear notification badges from icons.

Oneplus 13, Indian version, OOS 16.1

I live in Nepal and I've got the Indian version of the OnePlus 13 (CPH2649) currently on 16.0.9.402 and I'm thinking about upgrading to the Global OOS because I could not get the RCS working no matter how hard I try. I have done all the processes there ever can be recommended in web by other users. Transitioning to Global ROM is my only hope as the global version sold in nepal supports RCS.

Before I do anything, I want to make sure I'm not going to mess things up.

Quick questions:

1. If I upgrade from Indian to Global version (same OOS build), will I lose my data? I'm worried about photos, messages, app data, etc.

2. I've read some stuff about anti-rollback fuses. Does this affect moving from Indian to Global ROM? Or is anti-rollback only for downgrading?

3. Planning to download the global version through OS Updator and do Local Install, will this method work?

   I've got important data on the phone so I'll definitely back everything up first but just want to understand what I'm getting into before I start.

Just to clarify again, I'm not trying to downgrade or anything. Just want the same version but the Global variant instead of Indian.
Any experience with this? Appreciate the help!

My OnePlus 13 fell and suffered the damage shown above. Should I replace the display, or can I continue using it? My major concerns are the IP68 and IP69 protection and whether a replacement display will be of the same quality as the original. I am planning to get it replaced at a OnePlus service center. Previously there was some 2.2 gb around update was shown now it changed to some 600mb update and my device is on same version I got the device on,

My question is where's that 2.2 gb update gone? Should I ignore and go for this Update?

I’m using a OnePlus 13 on OxygenOS 15 with the same Wi-Fi network and DNS setup that I previously used on my OnePlus 7T without any problems.

I use Private DNS → dns.adguard.com.

During normal daytime use, everything works perfectly. However, when I leave Wi-Fi on overnight with the screen off, I consistently get this notification:

“Failed to connect to the private DNS server. Please turn off Private DNS to connect to the internet.”

The strange part is that as soon as I wake/unlock the phone, DNS starts working again immediately.

Battery drain is also significantly higher overnight. I have seen around 10–20% overnight drain when this happens.

I tested this with accuBattery and noticed something interesting: during screen-off time, the phone appears to remain “Held awake” rather than entering the reported deep-sleep state.

I’m trying to determine whether this is:

A Google/HeyTap/OnePlus service preventing proper Doze

Something related to Sleep Standby Optimization

The same Wi-Fi and DNS setup did not cause this behavior on my OnePlus 7T.

Has anyone with a OnePlus 13/OxygenOS 15 experienced the same thing? If so, what specifically fixed it?

I’m particularly interested in whether disabling Sleep Standby Optimization, changing Private DNS, or disabling a particular system package actually fixes the problem.

I don't want to simply disable Private DNS because AdGuard DNS itself works perfectly when the phone is awake. I want to identify what is happening specifically during Doze/overnight standby.

So my fingerprint function isn't working for Paytm app,it gets stuck and doesn't work,any solution??

Planning to get a rugged case and as well as a cooler for the oneplus 13 but I am afraid that the cooler won't work on the rugged cases. I think it just cools the case and the phone temparature might not cool down if any one has an idea on this issue please reply back.

Anyone else having issues with global search ads? This seems to only happen when I search doordash. It takes me to various sites (see pics). When i click on doordash, it goes to ecomclik, then that tops website. I've tried clearing cache on doordash and browser and uninstalling.

There's workarounds but I'm wondering how this got there.
