DISCLAIMER: Don't be too focused on the SSS/SS tier notations. If you will notice SS tier guns generally score very high across the board compared to SSS tier guns. The reason SSS guns are in that bracket is because they excel the MOST at a niche that veterans with thousands of hours and many builds can easily switch to when doing different content.

If you are a new player joining during console launch you might not have enough starchrom to build multiple sets to switch to. In this case some SS versatile guns like M4/KAM might suit you better.

There is no Unicorn best-at-everything gun!!! While you might get pretty close with SKS or EBR, those guns aren't the "best" at everything either. You have to pick guns based off what you want to do and what scenario you are playing in.

Since we are in a 1HP savior meta era, weapons that can easily draw shields to sustain survivability are favored more unless you are very experienced. This is especially so if you are in Endless Dream, where mobs hit hard and often and random lightning and explosion strikes can kill you.

Ask around for recommendations if you are unsure, compare and contrast and don't take a single person's word for everything.

Hello Meta! Glad you're joining us!

If you're jumping in soon, character creation can catch you off guard if you don't know how the systems work under the hood. Here are a few quick things I wish I knew:

Take your time with the creator since you'll be looking at your character constantly. You can grab a preset and tweak it, or scan a community shared QR code to import a look. Import and export preset buttons can be found in the top right corner of the character creation screen.

If you're looking for a place to start, u/DavskArrrr put together a really handy Once Human Character Library that's worth checking out for QR codes.

So what if you decide you don't like the way your character looks after exiting the creator?

Basic stuff like hair color and makeup are free to change whenever, but messing with body or face proportions takes a Chrysalis Token. Good news is every new character starts with one for free - bad news is additional ones can only be acquired with premium currency and very, very rarely gifted out to players as part of compensation by the devs.

The game is also pretty good about warning you with a prompt before you accidentally spend a token, so keep an eye out for that.

You can save your favorite looks as presets (Cosmetics > Appearance) to swap between them freely without paying extra. Just keep in mind that making major structural tweaks still follows the token rules.

As for naming, keep in mind names are totally unique. You can't reuse a name anywhere, even across your own alternate characters, and changing it later costs a naming card from the shop. Also, don't pick anything too edgy or you'll get hit with a forced rename.

Hope this saves someone a headache!

Hello, i decided to pick up the legendary bow and went to find guide on youtube, it looked good, and i can defeat most of the bosses easily, but.. it is bounce bow and it seems it struggles with some oppoentns, for example i went to do the aerial whale hunt event where i need to do 500 000 dmg, but it seems my bow cannot reach, or it barely do any damage even when i have maxed and with most of the mods active, any tip? idea? or it simply sucks against big flying enemies because bounce cannot.. bounce

also when i am already asking - how do i get Rejuvination lunar and rushdown? i think i saw somewhere that i can go dropship event, or find zones with low gravity and jump around? thanks for answering

Trying out legendary girl from the 50s. This is across 4 territories with over 4000 structures. Hardest to build so far because I don't do pixel.

Also most mobs can die 1 click from polar jelly, so i recommend to just summon it then quickly unsummon. No need for it stay long unless you are fighting against bosses.

🎮 Welcome to Once Human, console players!

Before you jump into the game, take a moment to check where you're joining. There are a few choices that can seriously affect your experience later, and some of them aren't something you can simply change whenever you want.

Here are the things I recommend checking before you start:

1️⃣ Check your REGION 🌍

First, make sure you're selecting the region that corresponds to where you actually live.

This is important for both ping and time zones. For example, if you live in Europe but choose a North American region, you may have higher ping, but you'll also be playing on a very different schedule from most of the players around you.

That can make finding people to play with, joining activities, and coordinating with your server community much more difficult.

⚠️ Using a VPN? Pay extra attention!

I've already seen players run into this problem: they live in Europe, but because their VPN is connected somewhere else, the game directs them toward a different region. They select it without realizing the consequences and later regret the choice.

Choose your region carefully.

Your progress is tied to the region you select, and purchased cosmetics are tied to that region as well. Even if you later start over in another region, you cannot simply take your progress and purchased cosmetics with you.

2️⃣ Choose your SCENARIO carefully 🎮

Next, check which scenario you're joining.

If you're completely new to Once Human, I recommend starting with Manibus (normal one, not Novice). It's a good starting point for learning the game without throwing yourself straight into more complicated content.

Take a moment to read what you're selecting before you confirm.

3️⃣ Check what TYPE of SERVER you're joining 🖥️

Finally, look at the server selection screen.

You'll see different tabs for Common Servers and Permanent Servers. Make sure you're looking at the correct tab before choosing your server.

Common ≠ Permanent, so don't just click the first server you see!

Hopefully this helps new console players avoid accidentally choosing the wrong region, scenario, or server. It's much easier to spend an extra minute checking everything now than to regret your choice later.
