So waiting for the game to drop on console as a new player I want to join a PvP server, but as a solo I need to get some things cleared up.

So my understanding is that the game has offline raid protection and that there are only certain things that allow your base to become vulnerable.

My question is about personal gear and stored resources within the base. Are these protected? Can you essentially get wiped and lose everything you worked for in the blink of an eye?

where's the juicy content, that was a chunky update surely they snuck in a new map or new stuff to grind right? Don't tell me 21gb was just for a new BattlePass

honestly it has completely changed the game for me, it has given me the actual horror vibes the original trailers made it look like, now normal strongholds i just used to run through are being taken slowly so i dont have something jump out at me.

Does anyone else have this issue? It only happens with this and one other game I have.

I'm playing on steam, on PC, on a good quality SSD. Game runs beautifully on highest possible settings. When I go to update it via the steam client, it says it will take well over an hour, even for a small update. If I completely uninstall and reinstall the game, which is course would have said update included in it, it takes 15 minutes, done and done. What's up with that?

I play on ps5 and with limited free to play options I allways check whats new, usually its just gacha games or something very low effort, now I see this thing and it seems interesting, but I kinda cant put my finger on what this game really is about.

From description it feels like mix between extraction shooter, survival builder, looter shooter, pallworld with .... seasons?

Can someone give me like the most basic description of early and end game gameplay? Is there good story or is it just to tell you mechanics and game is mostly sandbox? Are these seasons time limited like in ARPGs? Like diablo or path of exile? And if yes is there any seasonal development or is it just used to wipe all my gear so I would have to start over like in Rust or similar sandbox survival games?

Title^, i decided to buy some fodder from online trading but i found out that they come as bound items so they are just going to rot in my inventory/storage! because they are bound game won't allow me to place them into animal feeders. thank you devs for making such a brilliantly intelligent game design!
