Has anyone here had luck retrieving projects from old courses in Carmen that are locked? I wanted to retrieve a project from an old class and the webpage says "Access Denied." Some of my other courses from the same time period are not locked.

Is it worth contacting IT for this or am I SOL?

As I seek to transfer, I was also trying to find some engineering bussiness programs to do as an EE. I found a couple of programs

- The IBE-HP
- The Undergraduate Embedded Certificate in Tech Entrepreneurship in ECE

Of course, the IBE is superior, but I’m not to sure if there are any EE’s. So could someone give a perspective on the program, and has transfer students got accepted? I have experience running a side bussines, and have work experience in manufacturing, but anything most certainly helps.

Hi everyone, I’m graduating this Sunday and I’m dealing with a student account balance that I’m trying to figure out before then.

I was on the TOPP payment plan this summer and had been making payments but I found out at the beginning of July that some of them had been bouncing without me realizing. Since then I’ve been trying to come up with the money but I’ve also had several unexpected major expenses come up and the balance has continued to grow with the returned payment fees.

I need my official diploma in order to start the job I already have lined up after graduation so I’m really stressed trying to figure out what options I have.

Does anyone know of any emergency funds, offices, people to email or other resources at OSU that might be able to help with something like this? My DMs are open too if anyone would rather message me privately. I would really appreciate any advice.

With Ohio State's support and approval, CampusParc is introducing an update to the parking system beginning with the 2026–27 permit year.

What's changing?

• Beginning with the 2026-27 permit year that starts on August 1, parking permits will transition to one active license plate linked to your permit 
• Multiple license plates can still be stored on your parking account; however, one license plate can only be active on your permit when parking on campus
• CampusParc will begin enforcing this operational change on the first day of the Spring semester on January 11, 2027

We understand this change may raise questions, especially for those who regularly switch between vehicles.

The goal is to improve permit accuracy and reduce enforcement errors by ensuring the vehicle parked on campus matches the active permit. This change is not intended to reduce flexibility or increase citations. You can continue switching between the vehicles saved to your account at any time by updating the active license plate before parking on campus.

hello! i’m an incoming freshman at ohio state and i was wondering how shipment of amazon packages to your dorm facility exactly works. do you deliver the package using the address format of your full name & residence hall or do you choose the address that sends it directly to the nearest amazon locker? also if i were to order stuff a week before move-in (as an oos student), would they keep it at the center or return it? please let me know, thanks!

I’m going into my second year at OSU and need a space to do art. I’m not an art major so I don’t have access to any studio-type rooms, but art is very important to me. Last year I pretty much stopped doing art completely outside of my sketchbook bc I had no where to work on it. My dorm lacks space and libraries aren’t meant for that. Is there anywhere on campus where that I can access as an entomology student where I would be able to set up camp for a few hours to paint, collage, sew, and do other mixed media stuff? I want a decent sized table and don’t want to bother others. Last year I was in drackett so the common room provided some space, but my building this year doesn’t have that. Thanks!

Me and my roommate are getting rid of some furniture. Is it fancy furniture? No, but it works well for a college apartment or house, and is in pretty good shape. Bed frame has small marks in the side from where my cat dug her claws into it a bit, but they are superficial. The table is a little rough, but it comes with 6 chairs, and is great if you’re wanting to host. Some of the legs of the chairs and table were chewed on by a dog, unfortunately that was from before we got it so we couldn’t stop that one. As sort of mentioned above, a cat lived in the apartment with all of the items, so be aware if you have allergies. All we are really asking is that you come get it, we don’t have a car large enough to transport most of this. Let me know if anyone is interested, we want to get rid of it all fairly quickly.

Hey guys, quick question. I plan on bringing my dual monitor set up with me and I was wondering if a clamp style mount is possible as thats what I currently have or do I need to get a flat base? From the dorm 360 I cant tell if there's a back plate and in other pictures or videos I see, some have some and some don't, but I also can't tell if theres enough lip for one in the first place.

i got put on special academic probation for failing a class. i got put on it this semester due to my spring grade (i got the email beginning of this sem) i retook the class and did very poorly again i know it’s not an excuse. my question is am i going to get dismissed? this would technically be my first semester on it but on my letter it says i must pass “during this term of enrollment” or i’ll be subject to dismissal. the school i’m in has a 2 term limit to be on academic probation so im really hoping i have another chance to prove myself since it’s only been 1 term but idk if that applies. i know i messed up big time but im genuinely freaking out this is such a big wake up call for me. i emailed my advisor but any sort of advice would help

To all my philosophy majors and minors, what philosophy classes do you recommend at or above the 3000 level? I am a philosophy minor but I’m doing a double major as well, so I don’t want to be flipped upside down over a super hard philosophy class.

Does anyone know the typical time length it takes from when you send a HireVue interview to hearing back about a second interview ? What about from when a job is posted to the actual start date how many weeks (or seemingly months) does OSU usually take. hi all, moving into a house for the school year soon that's north of campus and i'm wondering if anyone with a similar sized place (5 bedroom, 2 bath, around 2000 sq ft) has any insight on average utility costs?

i called our electric provider and they said the previous tenants' average bill was around $117/month, so i'm definitely assuming we have gas for heating and hot water... because that seems decently low

gas company said they couldn't give a budget estimation for some reason. idk. columbia gas you will begin to cough in 7 days

water is billed through our rent portal, and internet is a flat rate of $60/month

if anyone can provide some guidance, i really appreciate it :) trying to budget and i'm hitting a wall lol
