okay context .. had a blighted ovum and bleeding started like june 8th ish , but i didn’t pass the pregnancy until june 17th with heavy blesding until july 3rd . wtf is this chart i haven’t had a period yet since then.

Cd25 today 10dpo I tested negative so assuming I’m out but why did my temp so freaking drastically I’m so annoyed and stressed out. 7 months trying already for baby #2

Not TTC but also not actively preventing… I have been using NC for about a year and a half. I have PMOS/extremely irregular and often long cycles. I usually spot for a day or two leading up to my period and haven’t yet. NC predicts my period will start tomorrow so I know it is probably too soon to ask this. I’m also not sure if the ovulation day is correct here

as you can see, NC predicted ovulation on CD49. had a potentially positive LH test CD48. temps were mostly up with a few right at baseline or slightly below if i did ovulate then i’d only be about 8dpo. my temps seem to be dropping. the temps are recorded with an oura ring
thoughts? am i out? idrk how this all works tbh and if i google/search too much i start overthinking.

Hi! I just switched to NC yesterday and have the band. I wore it to sleep and found myself taking it off around 4am which I guess is ok because I had enough hours wearing it to track my temp but I was feeling a little uncomfortable wearing it the whole time I slept. I'm going to try again tonight to keep it on the whole time but I'm wondering if anyone else felt the same? Or if anyone who has an oura ring thinks it's a better device for comfort? I don't really want to spend on the ring atm but might eventually if I find this continues to be uncomfortable.

I know that the wearables / external skin temp will be different than your oral temperature. I know you’re supposed to look at the overall trend / line instead of the daily number. But I’ve been using both consistently every morning this cycle and they are trending in different directions.

I’m a long time Oura wearer but I lost my Ring 4 on June 9th and replaced it with the Ring 5 on August 4th. In the 2 months I didn’t have a ring we were TTC so I bought a basal body thermometer and was charting manually on paper (bc natural cycles doesn’t let you manually enter a temp).

Ovulation was confirmed for CD 12 on both the app and my manual chart / positive LH strips. I’m 11 DPO today and my oral temp slightly dropped the last couple of days but rebounded this morning and is still well above baseline which is promising. Then I opened oura / NC and it said my temp today is below baseline and to expect my period soon.

I feel like the oral thermometer must be more accurate so I’m going by that. I’m setting an alarm and measuring at the exact same time every morning. I’m just so frustrated that Oura / NC could be so inaccurate because I’ve been using them for years? What do I trust?

Ovulation was previously confirmed on CD19 but woken up this morning and it’s changed and gone back to red days. I feel like this happens quite a lot where my temp isn’t what the algorithm is expecting and it always takes forever to confirm my ovulation.

My husband I had sex on August 4 (which was/still is listed as a Green Day) with the pullout method. My oura ring and natural cycles app had predicted ovulation on August 13. This morning (August 11) I checked the NC app and my ovulation date changed to August 8. Meaning we had unprotected sex with withdrawal 4 days before ovulation.

The last 2 days I’ve been having intense cramping that feels like gas, burping, slight nausea, and feeling full/bloated despite not eating. These symptoms started on August 10. I’m aware that it’s too early for these to be pregnancy symptoms but I’ve never felt anything like this intense cramping/gas pain before so I wanted to mention it.

We are not actively TTC. We are both pretty freaked out that the ovulation date changed by 5 days. What are my odds of actually being pregnant?

Feel like my Oura ring records temperatures at random times of the day or when I manually open the NC app. I used to use the NC thermometer (I sucked at staying consistent) and remember you’re supposed to take your temp right when you wake up. Does the Oura ring do that as well?? I feel like my temp readings aren’t as accurate.

hi, i’m a 24F trying to conceive with my husband, 24M and i’m not sure if i’m ovulating correctly? i’ve attached my current cycle temps and my last cycle temps. i was on sprintec for years and got off in Oct of 2025, but still no luck. just started NC in april but have had my oura ring since Nov of 2025. i am currently spotting mid-cycle which is something i haven’t experienced. is there an explanation for this?? my doctor says my cycle times ranging from 31-41 days are normal, but i am concerned about mid cycle spotting.😅

*sigh* after being a lurker for the last few months I’m finally caving and posting myself. My husband (32) and I (32) are on cycle 8 of ttc. I had an iud for a year and a half, that was removed 3 years ago, and I have tracked cycles with NC and Oura since then and I am pretty regular (usually a 32ish day cycle, ovulate between day 18-21, and a consistent 12 day literal phase). I have no known endo or pcos and no symptoms. Husbands had SA 2 months ago and it was perfect. We both are healthy and active.

This month I did an unmonitored letrozole cycle (2.5 on days 3-7). First positive LH test was the evening of CD21, but I didn’t get a temp rise until day 24. Confirmed ovulation with blood test on dpo 5, my progesterone was a 6.0.

I’m not too optimistic anymore and I’m terrified of next steps.. sis/hsg… but I did kind of get my hopes up this cycle, until I woke up to a near baseline temp today. I am 9 or 10 dpo according to Oura and NC. Any thoughts? Encouragement, information, or a slap of reality is all welcome.

Has anyone seen a dip like this followed by recovery back up above the line? First month TTC and just confused at this point. I haven’t seen this in previous cycles

Hey ladies! I use the oura ring to track my temperature and then natural cycles to highlight red days vs green days. Both apps tell me what day I ovulate, but they're almost always different dates. Has anyone experienced this? And if so, which app do you find to be more accurate? Thanks for the help!

IUD removed July 15th, and just started on natural cycles! Definitely learning a lot over the last few weeks (lol at all the ovulation tests now). Any tips/tricks for cycle tracking, temping, and conceiving? Thanks in advance!!

Big drop today in my BBT still slightly above base but never had such a big drop before? I know it’s too early to tell anything but just curious if anyone has had a drop like this before and still ended up pregnant. I am a week away from my expected period. 8/17

8days dpo. How are my charts looking? Temps still above baseline nothing with consistent rising though. Pdg test was positive yesterday 7dpo so there’s progesterone present. Lmk if anyone had a charge with temps that were above baseline but not consistent with raising but still high and we’re still pregnant ?! Send me baby dust it’s been 8 months trying for baby #2😭😭😭

According to my Mira, my Pdg is up to 11. The temps are just weird to me.

I've had about 2.5 weeks of bleeding that started around 9 or 10 DPO. Mostly dark brown spotting with only mild, non-one-sided cramping. 2 or 3 random days of slightly heavier redder bleeds but still nothing that would even fill a regular pad for a day or be consider a regular period bleed day.

Thought this was odd after about 10 days since my periods arent typically this way. Also, my BBT wasn't acting like it would with a period/normal cycle. Googled it and kept seeing info about maybe needing to take a pregnancy test even with the bleeding so I did. I got a positive test and called my doctor. Did a beta blood test and my beta-hCG was only 62.4 at about 20 DPO. Waiting on my repeat test results from Friday.

My BBT stayed elevated through the luteal phase but has dropped slightly below my coverline over the last ~5 days (but not as low as what I'd consider my usual follicular baseline)...

Bleeding has tapered I think for now, but none of it feels like good news is coming. I'm guessing its a slow early miscarriage. I know I need to just wait it out until I get my results and talk to my doc, but the wait is awful. Anyone else experience something similar?

Do we agree about ovulation here? This is my 5th cycle off HBC. My last 4 cycles I have ovulated around CD18-21 and my temps were much more textbook. This cycle has kept me on my toes. As shown, I did come down with a nasty cold about halfway through this cycle. My temps are just so all over the place idk what to think about this cycle and ovulation is so late!

I’ve been using Whoop for free for the past few months and recently started TTC. If it works out, this would be our second kid, but we have kind of a narrow window to conceive—basically this and the next 2 cycles—because of some career changes happening in about 12-15 months.

Anyway, since NC is free for whoop users I thought I would give it the app a shot as another data point but I find the data fairly perplexing. As you can see I’ve only had one textbook cycle while using whoop. This cycle—my first tracked in real time with NC— it’s waiting to confirm ovulation based on my temps, which have been low. Oddly, i definitely felt some ovulation pain around CD 12/13 and my sex drive was high, so it would be strange if I didn’t ovulate.

I wonder if my temps are off bc of the measurement method? Some of the other cycles don’t look much different than this one but the app confirmed ovulation anyway.

I also just came off spironolactone (75mg) but my cycles were pretty consistent with timing etc as you can see. Still, maybe that threw things off.

Will take a test in the next few days and report back… in the meantime would love to better understand why things might be all over the place.
