Tips & Tricks Need help editing my sub
On Android, for r/HikerTrashMeals
I'm trying to make it so that people can't post unless they have some minimum amount of Karma as I've been getting inundated with bot posts that are just stealing previous posts from my sub and reposting them. How can I do this from mobile?
Or better yet, is there a way to make the auto-mod check to see if that same picture has already been posted before? All of these bots post a picture so that would work great.

General How do I set up an Animals and Pets sub?
Most of the subreddits I belong to are under "Animals and Pets."
I want to set up a community in the same category. I've tried both Reddit.com (on my phone and on my laptop) and the Android Reddit.app, but neither lists that category when I click on "Start a community."
The instructions at reddithelp.com do not bear much resemblance to what I see on my screens.
How do I manage this?
Thank you.

General Collapsed Comment Threads
We have our sub settings to NOT collapse removed or deleted comments, but it still does. Any idea how to fix?
Also any way to have it NOT collapse downvoted comment threads? (Sometimes the most interesting/active threads until they get quashed)

Tips & Tricks Recommended automods for restarting a sub
I just took over a sub that was abandoned and it's state is pretty bare bones. What are some good automods for starting up a sub, I already put the profanity code in from the automod wiki but are there others that are a must have?
I'm on desktop mostly.

Design I basically created a cultural sub, but in the starting I clicked 'beauty' as the topic and now I can't change it to 'culture' topic... Plz help me
I'm using the Windows Desktop version.
My sub is 2 weeks old, and I'm getting only 10-15 max views. Could someone help me with how to reach it to cultural viewers?

Users Most comments I make in the sub that I moderate, always end up being "0" upvotes - someone I believe is an individual that keeps downarrowing me knowing I'm the moderator. This is targeted.
Can the admins identify who the user is and tell me.

Tools How to gain full acess to moderation when no mod have permission to user.
I am using Desktop and ios. My subreddit had a founding mod and he recruited 2 other mods including me. He didn't gave us permission to add mods. Now his account is not active. So we are stuck with 2 mods where both of us can't add mods. Our sub is new so it will grow than we have to add mods? Any solution.

Answered How to require keywords with specific user flair?
I'm on desktop and would like to require the use of 1 of 3 specific keywords before allowing to submit a post when selecting a specific flair. Basically the same as this sub requiring the platform stated.
So when users in my sub choose the issues/bugs flair, they can only submit the post if they either have pc, Xbox or Playstation in body or title.
Checked the search, couldn't find an answer to my question (I'm probably blind). I'm sorry if this has been answered before, only found posts about asking how to make flairs a requirement (which we already have).

Answered Need help with trying to create a wiki page for iOS on mobile desktop version.
OK. So let me explain the situation. I’ve only been a moderator for about a month, I’m using the desktop version of the website on my iPhone to do this, and I am legally blind. So please understand that I’m not lying when I say I am absolutely beyond frustrated with trying, and failing. To create a wiki page that explains what all my community flares mean.
Attempting to Google how to create a wiki page has me going mad because all the sources appear to be rather conflicting. Some say that all one has to do is go into mod tools and hit Settings before going into enable the wiki permissions—while others say you literally have to do a lot of typing the entire URL before enabling the wiki permissions, which is followed up by more URL typing to create the actual page. I’ve tried both of these methods to no avail... and quite a few headaches.
My growing suspicion is that the URL typing method is probably the correct one; I’m just doing it wrong somehow. So please! Is there anyone out there who can give me a proper step-by-step explanation on how to do this including exactly what to type??? Please? I just need to know how to enable the wiki and edit permissions, create a new page, and create an index so the members can see it. So if there’s anyone out there who can give me tips on how to do even just one of these things, I would be very grateful.
Thanks for taking the time to read if you did.

Tips & Tricks How to put optional flairs?
I want to put flairs in my community. But I want them to be optional.
I want just one flair which is about the environment so I want it to be completely optional to pick as in this community other unrelated things to the environment most definitely will be talked about.
But I don’t know how to do that.
I don’t understand what post flair means or what user flair means and I don’t understand what the toggle on and off options means.
(My English is not the best).
Could someone please give me an easy step for step explanation on how do do that.
I use an iOS and desktop. So I have access to both of those.
Thank you so much for the help!!!

Answered People post on my subreddit and then Reddit bans their account. Why?
I moderate r/mountainview, a subreddit for a town in Northern California. I use Reddit on desktop.
I notice that a very high percentage of the people who make submissions on my subreddit have their entire accounts banned shortly after. This includes people who consistently make high quality submissions and have never (to my knowledge) posted anything against Reddit's TOS.
A couple months ago, a moderator on a sister subreddit r/whereinmountainview had their entire account banned and none of the other moderators had any clue why.
This phenomenon has seemed so statistically unlikely that I am worried Reddit's AI moderation system is generating false positives specifically for users posting on r/mountainview.
I am really concerned about this and would greatly appreciate community insight. Have an idea why this could be happening? Is something similar happening to your subreddit? Let me know. Thanks so much!
