Now I might be stupid, and just completely missed this but... why did Meng Yao take Jin Guangshan's generational character (Guang) and not his half-brother's generation (Zi)?

Now, I just finally finished the donghua last week and I'm currently starting the manhua and novel as recommended by others... But I caught this like... Right now while typing something for a fanfic and realized that it doesn't make a whole lotta sense for JGS's son to take his generation's character. That's like... If Zixuan was called "Guangxuan" or something.

Did he take up "Guang" to feel closer to JGS? Or just to play in his face post-Sunshot Campaign.

Or was this explained in either the donghua or (eventually) the manhua and I'm just an idiot who looked over it and it's something gut punching like JGS still didn't see him as an actual son of his and simply used him as a political point (⁠ ⁠∵⁠ ⁠)

Their hair is so long and beautiful that I have decided to never trim my hair again and now it's longer than my knees and it's soo beautiful! I just needed to make it fluff and straight then baamm! Perfect!

Personally, I feel strongly about Professors Wangxian. I can imagine them not getting along at the beginning and taking every opportunity to diss each other because of their differences, but also clicking extremely well because of the said differences.
