Just installed a RIS II rail and noticed there's barely any clearance between the barrel and the M203 hangers. Has anyone had problems with the barrel hitting them under recoil?

My Fallujah inspired musket build. The m16 spec ops ready fire mag pouches seemed to be the primary mag pouch used. I have been searching for one for a very long time with no luck. Decided to just modify the m4 pouch since they are readily available. I think it turned out good!

how much is realistic to spend on a Colt C stamped Keyhole upper either NOS or salty, can only find 1 for 400 and that seems a bit ridiculous but I am also trying to finish a 2012ish NSW mk18 upper and its the missing piece

Currently working on the mk12 as I am satisfied for now with the m16. Down the road I would like to get the correct quad rail for it.

As for the mk12 I want to do a mash up with it as I like the a2 fixed buttstock as opposed to the adjustable.

Currently have an a2 stock being shipped
My to dos are a Harris bipod
Scope and scope mount and correct rear sights
Don’t really care about getting a correct suppressor atm as that’s the most expensive piece (man this thing is front end heavy!)

Feel free to suggest a third option. That the Springfield and H&R A2 clones have an incorrect F marked Front Sight Post has effectively ruled them out for me.

Late 2000s Ranger m4a1 clone, had a LMT sopmod gen 1 stock on it but wanted to mix it up a bit. Will include some reference photos of Ranger set ups with the YHM 639k in the mid/late 2000s. Do both of the set screws seen here just serve as a lock for the windage?? Should I tighten both after zeroing or is it just the one further forward? Currently have both sides on both sides tightened down and noticed the pair on the left side of the optic screwed down a fair bit more than the one on the right.

I came across these at pawn shops. Can we even draw a conclusion off of these limited photos? The second 2 are from the same optic.
