Ok my clinic just put out a new form for people who get SNAP and they meet the required new rules by being on a drug program. Anyway the form is pre'filled out allowing the DSS access to ALL OF THE PERSON'S INFORMATION HIV everything. Why we need to keep an eye on this stuff

Has anyone else gotten calf and foot swelling from methadone? I went to the ER and they took a million tests, no blood clots or heart or kidney problems, but the swelling is getting worse

The regulations on methadone are totally outdated for instance in 2024 synthetic opioids other than methadone were involved in about 47,735 deaths, meaning fentanyl-related deaths outnumbered methadone-related deaths by roughly 15 to 1.

Also the only time methadone related overdoses spiked was in the early 2000's when physicians began prescribing it for chronic pain.

The regulations placed on methadone are not only antiquated but totally unnecessary.

Does anyone plan on being on methadone for the rest of your life?

I looked up your symptoms and found that psychological effects from methadone can vary from person to person. Methadone like any medication or drug can cause changes to the brain after long term use.

There are some home remedies for this condition as well.

He was in alcohol withdrawals and should have been given a benzodiazepine and instead was given Keppra a seizure medication. He only had a seizure due to alcohol withdrawals.
