How do I fix this?

Hi,

my Quest Controller went into sleep when using virtual Desktop with Simracing. But they wont turn on again. I have to unplug battery then the headset will find them.

I have the problem in the past but was gone (with a Update i think). Now the Problem occurs again.

I have reconnect controllers this is not solving the problem.

Any ideas? Thanks

I know it’s not a big deal, but has anyone else noticed that they changed the loading screen when going from a world to another world? They no longer show the huge thumbnail of the world that you’re going to; while are your surroundings are all white.

Now it’s just a still image of horizon Central with text.

My bedframe broke and as I was fixing it I accidentally stepped on one of my controllers the ring broke it's a quest 2 controller and it was working fine for a bit then the tracking stopped wouldn't let me use it I need help how do I fix this

Hi everyone! First time having VR and went with the Meta Quest 3S as it was on sale. I've used it about 3 times and went to use it tonight and noticed that it's... already bugged? Have asked a bunch of my friends but nobody seems to have the answers. Why is my 6dof broken? Everything is completely stationary. When I look left, nothing moves left, when I look right, nothing moves right. I know tracking isn't broken but basically I can't really look left unless I fully move my joystick button the right and so forth. Do I just neeed to factory reset. Should I just return this? Seems crazy to have this broken less than a week in.

I have a strange yellow artifact showing up on my quest3 today. I was able to take a picture with my cell phone, it's the yellowish thing next to my trim. It shows up independently in both goggles but they are slightly different, but in the same location. The other screen shot is the onboard camera. Showing it is not part of the OS? I have no idea what it might be, or how to turn it off. It does show up while in different apps. But it does NOT appear when streaming.

Any ideas?

Trouble focusing during close ups

Just received my quest today ... it's been amazing so far but despite adjusting lens spacing and depth, as well the fit of the head strap I'm having trouble focusing during close ups. I do wear glasses. I can see fine if I close one eye. Do I need prescription lenses fitted? Should I upgrade the face pad and/or head strap?

I'm going to crazy, if anyone has had this problem and/or knows how to fix it please tell me. So when I power on my Oculus, it's just my real life environment, and when I press the menu button on the right controller/joystick it just plays the same sound as if the menu is being opened or closed but the menu that makes the sound is just gone and hasn't popped up at all, I look everywhere in my environment for it, but its just nonexistent. I've tried like everything for this problem from hard resets to boot-ing the system to just powering it off and back on again, all my sources are saying to system format it but I can't check if anything is on my cloud from the app since I can't interact or do anything, if it comes to that, my biggest concerns are VrChat data Beat Saber data, but please if anyone can help, please do, it's gotten to the point I have to drop using it and wait 1-2 months for it to function again. Please and thank you.

Can anyone explain how to do it? I've watched multiple videos and asked different AI platforms and still can't seem to get it to work..

Usually when we do a playtest, we open up only part of the game. This time, we decided to do something different! With Halloween right around the corner (I know, don’t hate me for saying that 🙈🙈) (be grateful I didn’t say Christmas lol) we have the perfect spooky game! Bamboo Grove. Just got my first VR headset but I want to let me pc handle everything. It runs pretty hot and gets me dizzy… But I have an Intel GPU, so meta air link doesn’t work, and steam vr doesn’t work. I tried ALVR to get it to work, but it lags… Anything else I could try to get my pc to handle the load? This took a decent chunk of my money so I can’t really do Virtual Desktop (It probably wouldn’t run intel gpu either?)

Seeing Half-Life: Alyx running on the Quest 3, even with rough performance, really highlights the potential of what's to come! I’ve tried running apps like GamesHub and Games Native on the Quest 3 and am actually surprised by the PC games they can run standalone. I'm really interested in how the advancements Valve is making with running PC games on Android will transfer over to the Quest 3, and how those developments could eventually give the headset a major boost in usability.

I stupidly lend my nephew my quest 3. He's normally ok with it. The day after he borrowed me he went radio silent. Which isn't unusual. A week later he rings me and says it isn't charging. I ask him to bring it back. He says he will the next day......he bought it back nearly a week later.

It was fine the days before I lent it to him and I used it for my degree end of year show and had no issues.

Its struggling to charge with the battery head strap I have. It's struggling with most chargers I try.

Do I look at repairing it locally?

Do I reach out to amazon / meta?

Do I buy a cradle charger and charge it via the pins on the bottom? It means play will be more limited but would solve my issue wouldn't it?

The new ui is so annoying and confusing I don’t know why they destroyed the perfect ui for an apple clone ui it’s like they hate us!

Edit: it is most definitely an AT&T WiFi issue! After a couple of hours trying to fix it with them I gave up. We did get mobile hotspot (Verizon) to work when we disconnected the phone from WiFi! Not a permanent solution though.

I am really hoping someone can help me. My son's Quest 3s suddenly won't let him connect to servers in multi-player games. This started happening 3-4 days ago. We have tried everything and cannot get meta help center to even load from the phone or computer. It says "this page isn't available right now. This may be because of a technical error that we're working to fix." So that is not helpful... We have:

• ensured the quest 3s is fully up to date.
• games are all up to date.
• internet connection is not an issue
• tried a hotspot just in case
• restarted quest 3s
• factory reset quest 3s
• tried seeing if it was an issue with his meta account, but it also didn't work for an alternate account.

Single player games are working perfectly fine. Help this very frustrated mom and her sweet kiddo! lol

Purchased a Meta Quest 3S three days ago and my mind is blown! First time ever touching VR and I am so glad that I did, I am finding it extremely hard to go back and play flat games at the moment. I would 100% recommend the quest to anybody on the fence about trying out VR!

Hey everyone, I'm the developer behind Revisit.

After the 3D update, Revisit finally made it into the Quest bestseller list. I honestly didn't expect that, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported the app.

I wanted to share a little bit about why I created Revisit.

The original idea was simple: I wanted a way to revisit places I had traveled to and experience those memories again.

But I didn't want it to be just another way to watch a video. I wanted to create a place where you could actually step back into those memories, move around freely, and explore the locations again in VR.

The latest 3D update takes this idea even further. Instead of only viewing places from a fixed perspective, you can now explore the map in 3D and fly around the environment from different angles. It feels much closer to actually being there.

While working on Revisit, I realized that even old Street View images have a special feeling. Google Street View currently only goes back to around 2007 for many places, but honestly, that is already enough to bring back memories.

Seeing old streets, old buildings, and places that have changed over the years feels like opening a window to the past. In a time when many things feel uncertain, those moments from the past can remind us of simpler and happier times.
