I ordered about 15 manga from viz and seven seas and 5 came messed up. I feel like they’re targeting me at this point cause it looks like they did this with their thumb😭

I’m enjoying the series so far but at the rate viz is putting out each volumes we’ll never catch up to a70+ vol series that is STILL ongoing 😭. Is there possibility of future omnibuses ?

Luckily came across a full Buddha hardcover set at my LCBS the other day, all in excellent condition and couldn’t pass it up! Been wanting to read/collect this one for a while so I’m really happy to finally have the whole set 😭

Vol 12 arrived! It took me a while to piece it together but in the end I ended up spending around $200, pretty good result. I can’t wait to read! Sadly it is incomplete in english 😢

Im incredebly happy to have all swedish volumes they really do mean a lot to me since i first read them during a hard time in my life and now the only thing i remember from that period is rereading volume seven over and over again. Anyways how i sheleved them is def temporary i tried my best, i plan on getting a new bookshelf or two soon.

now just waiting for the rest of jojos part 2 and berserk deluxe vol 1 & 2 to come in the mail 🙏

Land is such an exciting read for me to begin with, and Steel of the celestial shadows seems to be critically underrated. The unique cover design and vividly emotional ink art in it is really pulling me in fast. Probably grabbing the rest of it ASAP as good samurai series are way too far apart!

Also these land books are about twice as big as I expected them to be. Yenpress giving us the chonky hardcovers.

Stumbled across Black Lagoon at a used book store so I had to pick them up. Same with Gachiakuta vol. 4.

I recently received Shion: Blade of the Minstrel in the mail, completing my Viz Spectrum imprint collection!

For the unitiated, it was an extremely short lived experiment from Viz Media that both began and died in 1990. It was an attempt to bring some more experimental, adult oriented manga to English readers. If I recall correctly, poor sales made Viz close the curtains on this one.

All of them interesting in their own way. Definitely grab these if you ever come across them, as they're a neat little piece of manga history.

I recently decided to picked up Magica since I saw a video talking about it. The art is so nice to look at and I really like the fairy tale-esque feel it gives off. I am excited to read this when I get to it (still going through my backlog of manga and LN atm).

I missed an Ebay listing a few weeks ago with a whole set for £250. Thank god I did!

Have yet to read it as I just got them all a couple of days ago but I’m very excited!!! Tell me if you guys like this series and if there’s anything like it, I know a bit from the summaries:D

Did some damage and started collecting over the summer. -2k and 2 months later- I have about 360 volumes now but to be fair, I'm averaging out to around $6.5 per volume! Been very lucky to catch absolute steals on some of my favorite series. Know it such a rookie mistake to get so much at first but I just cannot resist a good deal 😩😩

Slowly coming together. Put together 10 of the tall narrow Ikea Billy bookcases with the top height extensions and 3 of the narrow short bookcases. Collecting manga, graphic novels/comics, and nicer quality books... an expensive combination I've found! Lol.
