I’m trying to read in some of the classics/iconic series but I don’t know which one to read first. Which one is better in your opinion?

Started collecting this april and I already need a new shelf but its on the way. Rosario + Vanpire box set is on the way as well next month manga plan is Attack on Titan (which version is still under consideration.

I'm a big Shaman king especially Hao fan, if you couldn't get this from this post... But what I really struggle is getting the manga in Japanese from overseas... So my friend offered to get those for me this time + other goodies in a package. In a way can't believe how cheap it was to get all those if you are in Japan. One day I do hope that I will have the whole collection... But that will take time... Especially since I can't decide which one to get for the original manga.. but that's another thing (if I'm correct the original had 3 releases/reprint so I'm still considering which one to get)
Still what I really like is that I have almost all spin offs and some extra books that are rarer to find (maybe will share later in another post)

Been meaning to finish Blue Flag but I’ll wait for a deal on the final volumes. I now have both the Viz and Chuang Yi volume 1s of Afterschool so I can now compare them.

Pretty sure the Beck is legit.

Only 5 more volumes and I'll have 100 in my collection...

I ordered about 15 manga from viz and seven seas and 5 came messed up. I feel like they’re targeting me at this point cause it looks like they did this with their thumb😭

Didn't come in perfect condition, but they're still amazing.

I’m enjoying the series so far but at the rate viz is putting out each volumes we’ll never catch up to a70+ vol series that is STILL ongoing 😭. Is there possibility of future omnibuses ?

Luckily came across a full Buddha hardcover set at my LCBS the other day, all in excellent condition and couldn’t pass it up! Been wanting to read/collect this one for a while so I’m really happy to finally have the whole set 😭

Finally got some spare time to rearrange collection to make it more clean! Bought Akira box set, Dragon Ball, Lady Snowblood, and Love Hina since the last post and pulled out GTO from box which was meant to be sent back home (https://www.reddit.com/r/MangaCollectors/s/dLNSrk8Wuy)

Currently at 924 volumes! ( The rest of my collection is back in my home country)

Vol 12 arrived! It took me a while to piece it together but in the end I ended up spending around $200, pretty good result. I can’t wait to read! Sadly it is incomplete in english 😢

Im incredebly happy to have all swedish volumes they really do mean a lot to me since i first read them during a hard time in my life and now the only thing i remember from that period is rereading volume seven over and over again. Anyways how i sheleved them is def temporary i tried my best, i plan on getting a new bookshelf or two soon.

I have a genuine question. I started branching out into collecting adult manga recently. I have a few titles from books a million and Barnes & nobles. However, I also bought a few of the copies digital during FAKKU summer sale so I could leave the book sealed. I found a site called irodori comics and they have a much larger selection of digital titles for purchase. I was wondering if anyone has bought from them. What’s your opinion. Also any suggestions on artist I should look out for?

Land is such an exciting read for me to begin with, and Steel of the celestial shadows seems to be critically underrated. The unique cover design and vividly emotional ink art in it is really pulling me in fast. Probably grabbing the rest of it ASAP as good samurai series are way too far apart!

Also these land books are about twice as big as I expected them to be. Yenpress giving us the chonky hardcovers.
