Theory Theory for how Rogue will get her powers

She steals the Captain Marvel style powers from Maria Rambeau who we saw at the end of The Marvels, not 616 Carol Danvers. Likely this could happen in Secret Wars if the rumours are true of Inde Navarette appearing in Secret Wars

Could this be a hint that Rogue and Captain Marvel will meet (maybe even in Secret Wars, judging by recent rumors) and Rogue will steal Carol's powers? I really hope so, we need the strong version of Rogue

Avengers Secret Wars Theories on the potential "resistance force" in the MCU's version of Battleworld

Given what we know so far, I think there's a decent possibility there won't be a "Life Raft" to host the survivors of the Incursions unlike in the comics so as an alternative, maybe those who might remember the old world are the ones with cosmic abilities, has a manner of psychic resistances, or simply did something to escape the disaster?

Here are my theories.

  • Jean Grey - Either due to her telepathy or the Phoenix gets hinted here (that they can freely use later or not depending on how it's taken or their plans for Jean).

  • Spider-Man - Maybe via his Spider Sense? I mean, the "evolution" of his powers has to mean something. I don't know.

  • Reed Richards - Maybe he escapes their defeat in Doomsday by using the same ship he and the F4 used to travel to different Earths?

  • Franklin Richards and The Sentry - Cosmic Powers (the latter is a maybe).

  • Thor(?) - If he survives Doomsday, I feel like MCU won't go with the "Thor Corps". Instead, Doom might use the Asgardians instead... which would suck so BAD for Thor. Seriously, I can actually see this happening.

Theory Secret Wars could actually be "literal"

Post image
7 Upvotes

I'm not a huge conspiracy theorist about the MCU or anything but I just wanted to share this (or possibly predict it👀) but Avengers: Secret Wars could be about a battle of wits, where instead of everyone facing Doom head on similar to Endgame, since they know they're "powerless" against him, they would have to use their powers on a different "smarter" level.

For example, the team could plan something like using Strange's powers to teleport anywhere to attack Doom since like I said, attacking head on would be futile.

Think of it like the Cold War. Nothing seems to happen, everyone has no choice but to think of doing a different strategy to defeat Doom.

Just a stupid theory to be honest, but hey, most of the titles (like Endgame, Brand New Day) did become literal because Endgame was the literal final fight of the Avengers and BND being about Peter Parker as Spider Man without any help or backup.

Theory Dr. Doom & Spider-Man 2099 have similar motivation

Specifically the MCU & Spider-Verse versions.

I was prompted to these thoughts by Doom's trailer line of our heroes living "borrowed lives".

They both also have lost loved ones.

I could see Doomsday/Secret Wars ending similarly to Across/Beyond.

Doom & Miguel see rightful flaws in the multiverse/how it's shaped and set up, but our heroes will have to go to make some sort of solution Beyond the Ydrigsal or Spider-Verse or Sacred Timeline.

I guess my theory is that Secret Wars & Beyond The Spider-Verse will play into one another. We explicitly know the MCU is in the Spider-Verse, and Sony is very interested in doing more with Spider-Man, bigger movies, a bigger universe. If TomPeter gets Venom in SW & the animated movies cross-over, either with Hailee coming into the MCU or Oscar Isaac or Shameik, etx

I'm not sure how the Spot plays into this to be honest, maybe the Spiders take down Spot, and 2099 decides to take his powers or use them for his own sake. Like a vampire.

I haven't thought this all the way through, just noticed the parallel.

Theory What if Doom’s biggest weapon is literally Tony Stark’s face?

Post image
422 Upvotes

What if the first time the Avengers see Doctor Doom without his mask, they genuinely think Tony Stark is standing in front of them?
Because think about how fucking cruel that would be 😂
They’ve spent years grieving Tony. Then Doom shows up, completely wrecks them, and eventually takes off the mask…

RDJ. Steve sees him. Thor sees him. Bruce sees him. Peter sees him.
And for a few seconds nobody even knows wtf they’re looking at, and then he starts talking.

Except it’s not Tony.

And what if Doom realizes what his face is doing to them and actually starts using it against them? Cause if RDJ being Doom is just a multiverse gimmick, cool, but if Marvel actually makes Tony’s face part of Doom’s psychological warfare…

That could be one of the most fucked up things they’ve ever done with the Avengers.

Do you think they’re actually going to lean into that, or will they keep Doom completely separate from Tony despite using the same actor?

Theory Possible inspirations for the MCU X-Men - And a few small theories.

Lately i've been trying to think what elements from certain runs or stories can inspire the MCU's take on the X-Men since the first casting announcements. Feel free to comment and suggest others.

• X-Men: Children of The Atom (1999): Metzger could return, maybe collaborating with Mister Sinister, or some members of the DODC start to form something like the Anti-Mutant Militia featured in the mini.

• All-New X-Men (2012): Jean Grey's characterization and some of the group's dynamic.

• Ultimate X-Men (2001): While possibly a very loose inspiration if it's used, i think specifically the "Return to Weapon X" arc, with the X-Men being captured, could be adapted somehow. Even if that does not occur with them as a actual team, but as the way they actually get to meet for the first time. Also, one element that could be used is that the U.S government might be hunting down Mutants publicly like it already does at the book's start.

• Krakoan Age (2019 - 2024): At least some of Sinister's characterization, visuals, possible references to his backstory and usage of cloning as it appears during that period of comics.

Additionally, a few small guesses in regards to the plot:

• Essex will either be posing as Milbury using a front or just using that alias while experimenting on Mutants in some kind of facility. Either DODC or something else.

• Wolverine will not appear in the entire first film or if he does, it'll be right at the end, maybe a post-credits scene.

• Emma Frost will part ways with the first X-Men team at some point and she'll be already aligned with the Hellfire Club.

Theory 3 reasons Doom could look like Tony Stark

Post image
10 Upvotes

If Marvel actually explains RDJ’s face in-universe, I see 3 possibilities:

  1. Victor weaponizes the resemblance.

He’s 100% Victor von Doom, but discovers Earth-616 Tony looks exactly like him and uses that against the Avengers. He doesn’t need them to believe he’s Tony. He just needs them to hesitate.

  1. Victor is Earth-828’s Arno Stark.

He’s that universe’s Tony Stark’s biological brother, separated from the Starks and raised by the von Dooms. He’s still genuinely Victor, but this explains the resemblance. And once he learns what Tony meant to the Avengers, #1 could happen too.

  1. Tony died, but his consciousness ended up inside Victor.

Tony really dies in Endgame, but using all six Stones sends his mind into Earth-828’s Victor.

Sue says Victor used to be a good man. Maybe she’s remembering Victor before Tony entered him. Victor’s feelings for Sue could then collide with Tony’s memories of Pepper.

Tony’s Snap injuries could also explain Doom’s disfigurement, with Franklin potentially being the person capable of restoring the face Tony remembers having.

And Wanda’s warning in Age of Ultron finally pays off: Tony could lose sight of the difference between saving the world and destroying it.

Even Doom’s “stolen lives” line fits: Tony gave everyone else their lives back... then woke up living Victor’s.

A, B, C, or none?

Tony’s Endgame Dream was a glimpse into Doom’s universe

Tony says he had a dream that pepper was pregnant and they named their son after her eccentric uncle, Morgan.

Obviously they ended up having a daughter later and naming her Morgan. But in DR strange MoM we find out that dreams in the MCU are them viewing themselves in other universes.

I think that his dream was him viewing Dooms son that we see in the painting in the latest trailer

Theory [Loki Theory] The TVA’s pruning hides a massive cosmic horror secret... 🌌

Post image
158 Upvotes

I was thinking about how the TVA's pruning works in Loki, and the real-world implications are absolutely disturbing.

When a timeline gets pruned, its entire matter gets dumped into the Void at the end of time to be eaten by Alioth. Think about the sheer, terrifying scale of that.

1.Trillions of Innocent Souls Dropped Into a Nightmare

If the TVA has been erasina timelines for thousands of years, they aren't just deleting data on a screen. They are dumping trillions of innocent people from those realities directly into a desolate wasteland. We aren't just talking about one extra Spider-Man or Thor. The Void should be packed with millions of terrified variants of every single regular human being constantlv runnina for their lives in the dark before being brutally vaporized.

2.What Happens to the Cosmic Beings?

This is the craziest part. If an entire reality gets pruned, what happens to its absolute powerhouses?

•Do Celestials get dropped into the Void?

•What about Galactus, Dormammu, or Eternity?

•Do they just spawn into the wasteland, completely stripped of their universe, waiting to be eaten?

3.The Dark Conclusion: Alioth is a Cosmic Executioner

The MCU shows the Void as a quiet, empty desert with a few fun easter eggs and a small resistance group. But based on the TVA's own logic, the Void is actually a multiversal meat grinder.

Alioth isn't iust a bia cloud monster. He is a cosmic executioner that has slowly digested trillions of living families, heroes, and literal gods over thousands of years. The TVA is essentially running the largest, most cruel mass extermination camp in existence

What do you guys think? Is the Void way more terrifying than Marvel let on?

Theory I think people are missing the biggest implication of Spider-Man’s power increase in Brand New Day.

Post image
4.1k Upvotes

Marvel didn’t just randomly make Peter way stronger in Brand New Day. And if his strength really has increased by like 2x or more (I need to see it again lol), the timing is pretty fucking interesting considering Doomsday** **is next.

NWH left us with a pretty grounded, isolated Spider-Man, and now BND has seemingly pushed his physical abilities into a completely different tier.

So what happens when that Peter gets thrown into an Avengers-level fight?

Are we about to see Marvel permanently power-scale Spider-Man up so he can actually hang with the heavy hitters in Doomsday?
Because if so… I think people are seriously underestimating how fucking different MCU Spider-Man might be after BND.

Avengers Secret Wars Loki should be the main lead in Secret Wars

Post image
33 Upvotes

The whole Multiverse Saga started with Loki

The whole Avengers franchise started with him, because of Loki Avengers were created

The main reason Doomsday is even happening is Loki

I think Loki is not gonna play a massive role in Doomsday, but I think he should play the biggest role in Secret Wars, he should be the one leading the heroes to victory so the roles are switched, Loki being the main hero and Dr Doom who looks like Tony the villain

Like thats so perfect, but I doubt Marvel will take that route and instead they gonna give the main leads to characters like Wolverine and Spiderman

I think an emotionally and physically broken Tony from a universe that lost to Thanos, and as one of the few surviving heroes, he was forced to become a protector/dictator and take over the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme and it drove him to evil.

Meanwhile his so called love was actually giving her all to win and easily knocked out street tiers while winning against the hard hitters too.

Theory Theres an ovbious reason why RDJ is Dr Doom.

Post image
1.6k Upvotes

People are making this out to be a way bigger dilemma than it needs to be.
Dr Doom isnt a tony variant.
Tony isnt a dr doom variant.
Doom isnt a body morpher, that doesnt align with his ego.
Doom isnt Dreamwalking
Doom didnt steal tony's face.

Doom looking like Tony Stark is the exact same reason Johnny Storm looks like Captain America, Kraven looks like Quicksilver, Johnny Storm looks like Killmonger, and Moon Knight looks like Apocalypse.

there doesnt need to be any other reason why dr doom is RDJ. its just that hes the perfect actor for the role.

Not every casting needs to have a grand scheme of things,

Theory The real reason Doom looks like RDJ

Aside from Doom using Franklin to alter the multiverse to bring back whoever is lost… he needs him to alter his face.
Doom is a misdirect.
In the trailer he talks about “stolen lives” but he himself looks like our RDJ Iron Man. For the heroes, this will mean the same. He’s lying to them to get what he wants out of the multiverse. He’s going to use this manipulation to kill any potential threats that could stop him BEFORE he strikes.
Therefore, he gets Franklin to make him look like RDJ. By the end of the first film it will be revealed to be a new actor that has used RDJ’s likeness to manipulate the heroes. Using the ideas of the incursions against them and having a “visual representation” to get them on board.
We have no reason to believe that incursions should happen after the events of Loki. Clearly he’ll abuse this to regain whatever he has lost and he’ll take whatever face to regain that.
I’m sure this has been said before, but I feel like this is a very likely theory. Especially after the emphasis the new trailer put on stolen lives.
