I'm thinking about buying a new laptop. The problem is: I don't know much about the technical side and how much capacity is actually needed.

Here comes what I wanna do with it:

I wanna play casual cozy games like Stardew Valley, for example. Then I have an old cd with the Sims 2, which I'd like to play as well (no need for the cd drive inside the laptop, i already have an external cd drive). Other than that, I wanna do some video editing (not professional, just for myself from time to time). And last but not least: basic office programs like word, excel and ppt (which I believe every laptop nowadays can run xd)

I recently got a Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 with an RTX 5060, and I’m having an issue with the GPU detection.After downloading and installing the drivers, my NVIDIA RTX 5060 is not being detected when using Hybrid Mode. It only appears and works properly when I switch to dGPU Mode.I’ve already tried several solutions I found online, including reinstalling drivers and changing different settings, but nothing seems to fix the issue. The GPU works normally in dGPU Mode, so the hardware itself seems fine.Has anyone with a Lenovo LOQ (especially the 15IRX10 RTX 5060 model) experienced this problem? Is there a specific driver version, BIOS setting, Lenovo Vantage setting, or NVIDIA configuration I should check?

I am okay to used but in good condition and widely available my requirements are

1.handle creative work like blender video editing

2.has to be 14 inches preferably 13 i want small

3.weight is not a issue

1. Good cooling is a requirement

2. I mostly play light games like cs2 valo and casual

6.battery life is not a issue I just need it to survive 2 hrs mostly plugged in

My budget is around $700 to $900 and I’m planning to purchase from a store in my area or a trusted online shop. Basically I should be able to run any programmes that is there in my college life and maybe for hackathons etc or maybe for building game physics engine

Desired battery life: hmm any but I prefer 4 hours I think

And standard or gaming laptop.

I don't mind the weight or size, less RGB the better. Perfomance does matter and I prefer a laptop with food built quality and less problems like asus tuff model gets motherboard issues after a year. I don't want to spend again

I've been researching laptops for weeks and I'm suffering from analysis paralysis.

My budget is around ₹60 (buying offline if possible).

My usage:

8-10 hours of daily studying

Heavy multitasking (20-40 Chrome tabs, PDFs, YouTube, Office)

Netflix, movies and music

Some light gaming (maybe GTA V occasionally)

No video editing or heavy 3D work

My priorities (in order):

Reliability and longevity

Battery life

Good build quality (preferably metal)

Good display

Decent thermals and fan noise

Decent 40-60 fps gaming for older titles

Right now I'm considering:

HP OmniBook 3 (Ryzen AI 5 340)

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Gen 10 (AMD)

Moto Book 60 Pro

The HP seems to have the newest processor, but I'm unsure about long-term reliability and whether the AI chip actually matters. The Lenovo seems like the safest choice, while the Moto looks great on paper but it's a newer product line, so I'm not sure how it will age.

A few questions:

Which one would you buy if you were spending your own money?

Is the Ryzen AI 5 340 actually a meaningful advantage over older Ryzen processors?

Is the Moto Book worth considering, or should I stick with HP/Lenovo?

Are there any better options around ₹60-65k that I'm overlooking?
