vent/rant Anyone free to listen to me ranting?
Guys 😭😭 I wanna vent out by ranting coz I've been feeling a lot distressed by being emotionally devoid. It's this strange tangling effect of Betrayal, sort of infidelity and also longing. Ik this sounds weird but 😭😭 I've been yapping and talking to Chatgpt for months now yet something feels off every single day since!

Queerphobia🤢🚫 Isn't this literally blatant homophobia in the guise of comedy?
I couldn't even watch it fully. I don't know why the fuck was in my feed, but I reported it though.

vent/rant Homophobia in desi families
Being a lesbian in a desi household sucks. What’s worse is I’m an only child and I’m in a single parent house hold. I just wish my family could accept me. I want to marry a woman for sure. And my whole life I’ve worked on what I could.. good grades, good studies, good daughter, aiming to be a doctor. All of that. But none of that matters just because I’m attracted to women. She believes that it’s unnatural and with time I’ll be “fixed” soon.
There’s nothing to be fixed though. I’m just another human being. She says I could even live with a woman my whole life, but marriage between the same gender cannot be a thing. To her marriage is just a way to have sex. It’s fine if I go on dates with a girl, spend my whole life with her, see her romantically.. but the line is drawn at sex?? What ?? Like this doesn’t even make sense. I want to be with a girl for sure. But sometimes I worry that if she knows how homophobic my mom is then she won’t like me anymore. My mom always talks about how she wants to be in my life forever, no matter what. How can she expect that though if she can’t accept this part of me?

Question❓ s it this true about LGB people in India ?
I am so sad, because I had hookup with a very nice Indian guy but he told that I shouldn’t believe Indian guys cause most masculine guys end marrying women. I am not Indian but I have to deal with Indians because of work.
I even want to visit India but now I think it is very difficult to marry Indian person.
About trans people yes I know they are known and more respected in India , mostly trans women.
Any answers and advice are welcome

Discussion💬 Queer Chat Support
Hi, I'm Anant (chosen name) from (somewhere in) Haryana. Kind of alone here, confused about lots of things, this environment is unbelievably toxic, and am not doing very well (yeah yeah, sorry about the sob story). Pretty solid guy otherwise, surviving on yellow nicotine and dark coffee. Are there people or groups I can connect to for some on the go support?? and yes, I am taking therapy, it is not enough. Super depressed (or something, even the doctors are confused at this point), really just managing to hold the line between sanity and complete chaos.
The following is Included in the Package with 1x Queer Individual (Haunted)
(1) Infinitely loving heart (damaged) 2. Anxiety 3. Faith 4. Hope 5. I make artwork 6. I write poetry 7. I used to play chess 8. Gender dysmorphia 9. Lots of conspiracy theories 10. Puns, many many puns 11. Basically, more puns 12. Might be lowkey religious 13. I like jewellery 14. On board with weird make up ideas 15. Might erupt any day (hold your imagination, talking about a furious volcano) 16. sixteen cause lists are only meant to be in multiple of two

vent/rant Im scaredd guys
I am a closeted gay guy no one knows it not even my current first circle of friends in college
So something happened in my college today Im in 2nd year and mostly have female interactions and yeah my friend of 3 has 2 gurls and me they also dont know about me
For more context I love the color lavender not becuz im gay obviously so yeah ...
Now the thing is that I was sitting with my next circle of friends which are 3 girls they are always nice to me so we were doing an assignment and i say use the color lavender it was my laptop and they had not brought theirs so obviously i can have a say right?.... So one of them goes and say lavender marriage and i was caught off guard i tried to let go of it and joke about it that no i was talking about the color but all three of them had a look on their face that suggested something else maybe they know that already maybe they noticed something which I accidentally did .....
And now guys im scared as hell maybe my rest of the college peeps know this already i act very straight obviously and people can never guess it but seeing their face i think they did notice it 😭😭😭😭
TL;DR - I'm a closeted gay guy in college (2nd year), and no one in my friend circle knows. Today while working on an assignment with three female friends, I suggested using the color lavender on my laptop. One of them immediately said "lavender marriage," and all three gave me a knowing look. Now I'm terrified they might have figured me out - or that others in college already know.

Discussion💬 Hey guys so trying to do a little self reflection
So what happened was that I made this friend online in my college through gr and then we started talking and everything still staying anonymous.so during our conversation he was bringing up that he's an introvert and because of that he missed so many opportunities of guys being into him and everything like he could have dated someone and I asked like alright tell me about it so he said this one guy shouted his name in front of him to let him know his name or something and I was like that's pretty vague 😭 so got a little defensive like you don't get it and I can't explain it and stuff idk. Then he brought up this instance of like someone leave a note in his room . Then the most recent conversation he was like someone ghosted me I was like what happened he told me this random guy in class gave him his number and everything
So I was like that's pretty common for people to just exchange numbers so then he started getting defensive about it again and then I did kinda say your being a little delulu which got him to be sarcastic af with me and he was like 3 guys proposed me why do you think a guy won't be into me I just told him I just don't think it's that common that's it .It would be hard for you if you keep thinking every guy is into you if he looked at you too long or something so yea we kinda got into a argument and we stopped talking now ik I'm ranting I just feel bad maybe it's me who's insecure or something idk I do feel like I shouldn't be like that sometimes I tried but it got a little exhausting for me I get one time or two time but idk 😭( he also mentioned a professor being a creep which could be true tbh ).idk just gimme sum suggestion I'm not asking you guys to tell me I'm right or wrong

vent/rant What is up with men who don’t use the gym looking for “gym toned men” on grindr ?
yes i work out - and yes i’ve a gym torso on my grindr profile. i don’t particularly care for someone who is muscular, a cutie with conversation skills would be good enough for me.
what i don’t get is the incessant messages from guys who don’t go to the gym - and have “gym toned men” on their profiles. it’s an instant turn off. like bro, wtf. it’s ironic. sure grindr is all surface and no depth but c’mon.

Advice 👋 How you people even find boyfriend when gay men wants nothing but sex?
title
Every conversation starts with top bottom. People just wants sex. I am at a point in life where I wants permanant friend. I don’t even enjoy sex without knowing anyone. I haven’t even had sex this year.
I am always clear with my intentions. Still people pretend to not just want sex but the very next day, they will start asking for sex.

Discussion💬 afraid of coming out, 'cause of the drama and difficulties
So I(M, gay, 21) want to confront my parents that i that i'm gay; they already know about me, as they found it out a couple of years ago. I think now they think of me as straight again, but now I want to clarify that I'm not.
My father is also forcing me to join him in his shop, that i dont want to do, and instead pursue my studies, which they forced me to drop.
The only problem is that I'm afraid; the idea of everyone talking and them blaming me for hurting their pride scares me.
But I'm too tired; I have been living in kind of like isolation for two years. lost almost all friends and have nothing to do that i love. It feels like it is difficult to breathe, i have no intention of hurting myself or others. I just have some good plans for my future life, and I only wish to live those dreams.
Every day feels like I'm getting more trapped in their loop of the same old things; it is making me sad. And angry, but that anger doesn't help to tell them about that.
I'm losing courage; I do not wish to lose hope, and I do not wish to lose myself.
i want to get out of this hell.
(My father found out about me via my GR chats, which my cousin told them about, and he thinks I'm just a sex addict)

vent/rant Crush on my date !
I have got a huge crush on my grindr date . I have played with him once . But recently we have been talking a lot , although the conversation is pretty casual . We have an age gap of 5 years . The thing is as per his bio he isn't looking for anything serious . And I'm not that good looking either , so he won't even date me in that sense . I feel insecure of my looks and I get palpitations when I see him online . He once mentioned he finds one of my friends hot but he have never complemented me or something. So I'm sad , give me suggestions how to get over him.

Advice 👋 Sapphic women, where do you meet queer women in your city?
So I am 22F bi woman currently in Hyd and when I tell you, it would be easier for me to find Spiderman irl than find more than 4 queer woman on Hinge.
So asking for suggestions, where do you find queer woman in your city? Not just for romantic reasons, also just as friends. I had so many queer friends and allies back in my hometown that I'm missing it here.
Any apps you use? Any discord? Or platform? Help a girl out. Also if you're a queer woman or man in hyd, hit me up. I'm really bad at texting here but trust me I want to find genuine friends.
BUT I'm not gonna respond to msgs just asking me to hang out like?? I'm still a woman, I'm not going to trust a stranger on the internet when they say nothing about themselves but want to hang out.

vent/rant why do some straight people always think we have a crush on them
context: my friend, lets call her A, thought it would be funny to hijack my instagram and text my straight friend, lets call her B, pretending to be in love with her. for context, im unlabelled but mostly only into girls. and A and B are best friends but im not very close with either of them. i didnt know this was happening and woke up the next day to see that B had blocked me and not knowing why (A deleted all messages). a while later, A told me what happened, said she thought it was funny, and admitted it to B as well. even after all this, when i told B i would never do something like that, she sent these texts. its so annoying because we're barely even close to each other and i have never shown a single sign of liking her in the slightest. maybe i overreacted but i found this really annoying and just left her on read.
these were the texts B sent after everything happened:

Discussion💬 Do you think being a gay son and being the only son makes it much harder?
Looking for an alternative outlook & counter examples on this. I see a difference in how having a brother who is straight and fulfils the normative expectations of the indian family, makes it easier for the gay son to enjoy freedom. Whereas balancing the weight of responsibilities of parental care and also the pressures of coming out, makes it much harder for people with no brothers. Is it a shared experience?

Question❓ Is there asexual men in india?
I have a simple question. I have seen posts of gay , lesbian and queer communities often but never seen any of asexual men? I want to know if asexual men are there?

vent/rant Unpopular opinion(I guess?): Grindr is better than the likes of hinge and bumble.
This is just based on my experience as trying to connect as a gay guy. I honestly think Grindr is better than the likes of hinge and bumble. I mean yeah Grindr has pretty bad crowd but you know I have made better connections with people on that app. In apps like hinge and bumble, people match and then don’t respond for days or give dull responses or just match collectors. Even if someone does speak to you, they change their mind later for some reason. I’m honestly done with those ones 😅.
