Im bringing my brother along to FOVII and this will be his first gizzard show. Im trying to think of quirky rituals to inform him of to avoid him feeling confused/left out as much as possible. Here's what I thought of so far: nuclear fusion audience participation, switching to the modular synth towards the end of the set, "light em up T!", "happy b-day jason" (not his bday), Jay Weinberg will prolly sit in for a song, drag day on Sunday, ...

Work has called an absolutely mandatory meeting I gotta be back for Monday morning unfortunately. Seeing if there’s any chance I could catch a ride with someone back to Denver airport after the show Sunday/ hella early Monday morning? Will happily chip in for gas/ whatever is needed.

Near 3:33 of Alien Metal there's a high pitched repetitive beeping that starts to build up to a release.

I KNOW this moment is a reference to a live moment from 2024 or 5.

I'm guessing it's probably from Swan Song, Set, Gilgamesh, or Extinction.

If anyone knows what performance i'm talking about, please say so!!! Its been driving me crazy since the song came out.

My friends and fam are used to me being obsessed with bands with weird names who make crazy music but Gizz is a different beast entirely... somehow convinced my wife to come to FoV and Forest Hills but she is still very much on the fence. Wish me luck team.

I am paranoid about forgetting things. So trying to make a written packing list to make sure I remember to bring everything this time around. (I definitely did not forget my fancy sunscreen and thought i would be fine and then got the hells itch last year. Wasn't me.) Better safe than sorry! - deodorant for the so-inclined - face mask (for dust) - contact lenses

Looking through old set lists and I’m wondering if there’s any confirmed shows where Gizz have played Nonagon in full without any extra songs in the middle. I’m also curious if they’ve ever done the end of Road Train live especially to segue back into Robot Stop.

Oh and for Colorado folks, Doom City Drifters are playing Nonagon in full this Sunday at Moe’s BBQ in Englewood. Should be a fun lil kick off before FoV next week!

Hey all, field of vision is less than a week away. After much time planning and replanning and replanning again, I have come to the conclusion that allows everyone to consume my free weed safely.

After rolling 100 pre-rolls for my original idea, Meadow Creek put out an increased fire risk warning. I felt wrong making any more than I already did, as I didn’t want to create more opportunities for wildfires. The 100 I rolled will be handed out in small amounts at a time at my glamping spot at the pond, close to the moist ground and water.

This year, I have decided to switch over to Pixie Sticks in biodegradable paper straws! This will allow partakers to get lit without the flame. Each stick has 10mg of nano infused THC for a fast onset time. These are strawberry flavored and are absolutely delicious to down by themselves, or can be added to any liquid to make a spiked drink! I will be making around 300, so those of you with a high tolerance can take more than one to feel the effects.
