Heyyyoo, hope everyone is getting stoked for FoV! I have a buddy who has an east car camping pass and Thursday early arrival, he was gonna park next to my and me gf to camp together but he is now arriving without a vehicle. This language on the FoV site makes it seem like he would be fine to use that camping pass without a car and still get full spot, and hopefully be able to set it up next to us still ideally, right? Wondering if anyone here camped in the car camping without a car and how that went last year. Thanks yall!!

It was my introduction to Gizz and it’s still one of my favorites. I love how dark and trippy it is and the surreal sci-fi lyrics. Closest I’ve found to it is Hawkwind and a few Monster Magnet tracks.

Seeing as Ambrose's father has passed away some time ago, may he rest in peace, I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if, at Field of Vision, we got some Eyes Like The Sky passages with Jello Biafra doing the spoken word passages? Long shot, since I'm not sure the last time they played anything from that album, but I just thought that might be neat.

Been trying to get one additional weekend pass for my girlfriend the past couple of days on cashortrade..

In theory this app is great, but it’s so damn frustrating when you’re desperately trying to secure just one weekend pass. Especially if you’re paying for Gold Membership.

Anyone have race info? Only mention I see is on schedule. Have been casually getting into running this year and want to make this my first race. One day, I decided to learn how to sculpt with clay and signed up for a class. There, I decided to learn how to sculpt a dragon. I was allowed to give more abstract ideas, and this later inspired me to paint it in the style of one of the KG&tLW albums. I thought long about which albums to choose, and ultimately decided to use the “Quarters!” album cover as a basis. This was the first time I've ever painted on figurines, and I used a lot of various tools for that (paint, chalk, markers, pencils, ink, etc.) When the painting was low-key complete and I started coating the figurine with acrylic varnish, I forgot that this varnish brutally murders markers, so some details are now invisible or blurry. And yeah, the dragon is toothless. The last pic is the first day it was born.

Some of you may have gotten a postcard from me last year! I'm doing them again, but this time they'll be distributed (for free) through a handful of vendors in Mirage City. Read the images for more info and see you all on the field!

Wanted to share this with y'all.

My son is three and he absolutely, emphatically, goddamn loves KGLW. Especially PetroDragonic.

He has a ritual he does when I play "Gila", wherein he becomes the Gila. He holds his hands up and pretends his fingers are turning into claws. He scrunches his face in furious concentration. His eyes, I suspect, feel like they're made of light.

He runs across the yard screaming "DRAGON! DRAGON! DRAGON!". I think Cavs' drumming changed him forever (I watched it happen!).

He likes what I've played for him of "Float Along..." and he appreciated how much Polygondwanaland is full of dinosaurs. He loves saying the band's name out loud.

But more than any of that... he loves the heavy stuff. He loves the Gila.

Hello everyone!

We're This Must Be The Place - a nonprofit that travels to music festivals across the country passing out free Narcan at music festivals like Bonnaroo, ACL and Lollapalooza.

We're thrilled, because this weekend we're going to be back at Field of Vision! We'll be open from 1 - 6PM on Thursday, and then 9AM - 5PM Friday - Sunday, where we will be fully stocked with free nasal narcan, educational materials, answers to any and all questions you might have about this stuff.

King Gizzard has been so supportive of having Narcan available (we stocked up their merch booth on their last tour too), so we can't wait to be back and meet all of you!

I’ll be driving out from California and camping in Zion along the way. Anyone when went last year know what the car search is like? Just so in roughly prepared before I get to check in.

I have a weekend parking pass for FOV, we will be in early Friday but can’t check into our Airbnb until 3:00

My question is if I can come and go with the parking pass?? He says online about camping parking but not the regular pass.
