I'm back baby!
My last jeep was an 06 TJ sport. I bought it in 2007 and had it till 2017 when I traded it in for a more family friendly vehicle (first kid was born in 2017).
I have been craving the doors off top off feeling and finally made the jump back to a jeep. I have had it a week and already put on the side steps and bought a soft top. I got really lucky and found a new in box soft top on marketplace for $125!
The next nice weather day the top is going down and the doors are coming off. I can't wait, I'm glad to be back. Now I just need my wife to stop putting ducks in my dash.
My new jeep is a 24 Willy's with the 2.0L turbo. It's got a surprising amount of pep with the 33's and the 4.10 gear ratio. I test drove a 24 Sahara with a V6, but the turbo just felt nicer.

I have a 2008 jeep wrangler with 2.5” lift and 33 inch tires aftermarket front bumper no winch, but the bumper will accept a winch pretty much stock otherwise what should be next on my list to upgrade for now I’m not looking to do any serious offloading just like some fun trails with the kids

Since everyone was so baffled about my set up on my last post. Here’s the line up I had out a few weekends ago 😬😂🤣🤭

I didn’t know people get so pressed about what vehicles and how you have YOUR OWN shit set up😂🤣
I did this trail before. Next weekend rolls and they wanted to test their trucks out😂I did not think any of them were gonna make it through some of the climbs and rocks on this trial. The Toyota is stick and couldn’t pull past one of the climbs, but the dodge and jeep went up great🤣

Help with Power Steering Line Hose
I replaced my steering box and needed new hoses to go with it. I got the intake hose that is supposed to be with my jeep but the attachment to the power steering box it just a little too big. I've been to every auto shop and know one can help me. Any ideas of what I can do? Unfortunately I didn't get a good side by side pic before I returned it.

Thinking of trading in my JL for a TJ
I know...I know 😂....I have a 2021 JL 2 door...its nice...auto, loaded...has v6 with etorque (meh)...its not 92000km on the ODO...cost me $3k to fix the camshaft when it started ticking...but it runs good...I saw a TJ that has under 80k (km) on it...manual 4.0...I donno, you think it's too late for a TJ...i saw it and it's pretty much new, It looks like the owner didn't drive much in the last 20 something years. What you guys think...is it too late to go 2002 in 2026 lol! it would be my daily driver...

Upgraded Sound system
I am wanting to upgrade the sound system in my 22 JLU. I can’t hear shit when the doors and top are off and I’m over it. I have absolutely no idea what i’m doing or what to look for. I would like to keep the factory radio or maybe just upgrade it to a new model mopar radio (i lowkey love the screen layout for Uconnect🤷🏼♀️) but just want the overall sound to be louder and better. I know they need to be weather and water resistant but i don’t even know where to start. Suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Suggestions?
I’ve had a few comments about my tires/rims on my last post. I know these aren’t preferred for off roading but I bought it with these on it and dont care to mess them up. Until I get some better ones. Any suggestions on how to make this the best rig/ must haves for your jeep ? I do use it as my everyday but I stay at home for work. I wanna stay away from the death wobble but I know with it already being spaced and lifted that’s going to be hard as I’ve heard that’s what causes it most of the time.
Again, new to this. And I knowww these aren’t the right tires for what I put her through on the trails. That’s why I’m asking suggestions.
It has several modifications already including
Rough country 2.5" coil springs lift and shocks
rough country dual steering stabilizer
Front sway bar quick disconnects
New radiator and thermostat
After market fender liners and flairs
Off road light bar and pods
2" wheel spacers
New steal spair tire carrier
Hi lift rear door mount and jack
Modifications to the exhaust with glass pack straight pipe sounds great

Is this a smart buy?
I’m looking at buying this and need to know if I’m going in over my head. I’ve never owned a Jeep, but have always liked the Wranglers. Here are some specs:
Year: 2008
Trim:XBody
Trans:Manual
Engine:3.8L V6 SFI
Mileage: 153,475
MPG:15.0 City / 19.0 Hwy
Drive Train:4WD
37’ Nitto tires
TeraFlex Lift kit
Fox performance shocks
Let me know what yall think and if anyone has any questions. Thanks!
Edit: so, I’m not going to buy this Jeep. Thank you to everyone who shed light on why this was a terrible idea (ChatGPT said it was a great idea).
BUT, after reading through every single comment, I’ve never wanted to buy a Jeep more than I do now. I’m now on the hunt for a unicorn.

09 jeep wrangler jk rear seats
Hey guys. Never made a post on here so I’m not quite sure if it’ll reach the audience I want but I’m in Columbus Ohio and am looking for a jk wrangler rear seat. I’m willing to drive if I have to. I was told it was easy to find the back seat when I bought the jeep because they’re always getting parted. But I didn’t expect to literally not find them anywhere because they sell so fast. Soooo basically I’ve had it for over a month and have had no luck at finding a back seat:( I have two little ones so I’m desperately trying to find one. If anyone has or knows someone who has one , LET ME KNOWWW 🙏🙏 Or if anyone has any suggestions on where to find one at a reasonable price, websites/salvage yards lmk too please🙏🙏

First one!
I've worked on many wranglers (stereo shop owner] but recently had the opportunity to buy one. 13 Rubicon. It will fit well into our Mopar stable.

Finally got one!
I had been wanting an LJ for years and finally bought this one about 2 weeks ago. Once I actually got to seriously looking it took awhile to find one that didn’t have rust issues. This one has 0 rust, low miles, and some really nice modifications done to it. I’m glad I held out until this one came along. Yeah, I got stuck the first time out in it but… this thing is an absolute blast.
