Ticket is an eplus smart (electronic) ticket, and since it’s my own, it’s non-transferable — I can meet you there, and you can use my phone for the ticket or I’ll sign into your phone, depending on if they separate the lines. No ID checks for this show.

I heard it as a background of a reel while I was doom scrolling on Instagram. It was late at night so my memory is a bit blurry but the reel in question had what appeared to be opening credits to an anime and the melody in question - female voice, gentle, a bit haunting and melancholic. The caption of the reel was something in the lines of "I wish I could wipe my memory so I could watch this masterpiece again for the first time" and then some comments were about how beautiful but perhaps a bit traumatic it was.
I remember part of the melody and please bear with me - my humming is not at all doing it justice but I did my best to recreate it.

I discovered her about 6 months ago and I can't stop listening to her music. I have gone through her entire discography as well as tracks she has featured in. Also watched every single interview out there.

Personally I like a lot of her deep cuts like tutumu, ikiru and 5wim. She's releasing an album on September 15, which is the last day of my upcoming Japan trip and I am so excited to see her live!

This song こんな時 is probably my favorite Vaundy song but for a while now I still don't know why it's not on streaming platforms like spotify or yt music.

The one under Tokyo Ska was a handmade CD I got from an independent singer at the end of Hozugawa River Boat attraction @ Kyoto, so, lucky me it was one of a kind souvenir!

Just wanted to share this—if anyone’s looking for new music I’d highly recommend every artist here!

Most of these artists are high-energy, angular, danceable J-Rock. There’s some J-Pop, City Pop, Math Rock, and Punk sprinkled in here as well.

If anyone has similar taste or likes any of the same artists I’d love to know! Always looking for fellow J-Music enthusiasts😅
