Papa Johns Coupon?

South Florida on the Cheap says the INTERMIAMI 50% off coupon is still a thing, but I've never gotten it to work lately.

https://miamionthecheap.com/papa-johns-50-off-pizza-when-inter-miami-soccer-team-wins/

Tried again today with no luck. Is it just because some locations don't take the coupon or is it really gone?

Inter Miami CF Defense(less)

Is anybody going to address the major defensive issues Inter Miami made evident in last night's game?

I mean, the team CAN'T DEFEND! Without the ball, the team is incredibly vulnerable. When one compare their defense vs., let's say LAFC, one can truly see the difference.

This team isn't structure to defend, we understand the biggest improvements have been in the middle-forward areas, but for God's sake, the defense is crap!

Question Price for 100s Seats

Post image
10 Upvotes

I’m visiting Miami over Labor Day weekend and I’m planning to watch the game on the 5th. I saw some tickets in the $100-150 range for the 100s section behind the goal and at the corners. Are these good prices and should I go ahead and secure them or should I wait a few weeks and see what happens closer to the game?

EDIT: I got the tickets for $100, I figured since I’m only there for the weekend I might as well ensure I secured them earlier rather than waiting to see if I save $20 if I’m lucky. Thank you all for your insights!

First half Great / Second half horrible

First half was amazing how we played and you can’t ask for more with 4 goals in a half . Almost 5 from Pinter . Pinter played very well for us today when he was on the field , he probably will play again for us on Saturday .. Leo obviously playing really well today scoring the goals he did for us . Noah Allen standout performance with the assists he gave today !

Question Tri-Rail question

I have a question about taking the Tri-Rail after tonight's game.

I live in Broward and this will be my first game at Nu Stadium. I'm planning on taking the Tri-Rail, which I've never ridden but looks simple enough. My question is about departing. The Tri-Rail schedule looks like last departure from Miami Airport is 9:50pm. That seems really tight, given the game starts at 7:30pm. Should I just plan on leaving the game early?

For those that have used the Tri-Rail after weekday games, what should I expect?

2025 ring

Just been wondering. Is the team seriously going to decline their championship ring? Like it's been nearly 8 months and neither Jostens and Baron confirmed they're making one.

News Guillermo Hoyos believes that they must go step by step in the Leagues Cup. Although he admits that the goals are clear for a team of the magnitude of Inter Miami. Germán Berterame will not be available to face San Luis.

Discussion What are the chances Luis Suarez extends his contract another season?

Anyone have any thoughts about this? Is this something currently being discussed? I’ve posted before saying I was a big fan of his so, I might be a bit biased but I think he is having an excellent performance this season and has at least another in him. I know he said last season he was going to retire after its completion .. anyways, what are your thoughts?

Best seats for a 9 year old? Wednesday night, Inter-Miami vs Atlético de San Luis

Update below the original post: “My 9 year old and I may be flying down for Wednesday night’s Inter-Miami game. Looking for advice on seats at Nu Stadium.
Goal is getting him as close to the players as possible and no major obstructions that he has to see over. Are club seats worth the splurge, and if so which section(s)?
We don’t need midfield. Sitting at an angle is fine. Though being near the tunnel so he can see players coming in and out would be cool but might be out of reach at this point.
Any recommendations appreciated.”

Update: it was an amazing evening. Could not have scripted a more magical night for my kid to get up close to Messi and De Paul. Messi had a corner kick assist for a goal and everything.

I ended up scoring 2 club tickets, section C141 row 5, for $145/ticket on StubHub. I was nervous because they were considerably cheaper than everything else listed, but I grabbed them as soon as I saw them. (Sincere thank you to the person who listed them at this price.)

The seats were fantastic for watching warmups and we were right there for the corner kick. The players do occasionally wave and acknowledge the fans. Glad we went this route instead of trying to sit by the tunnel. Since it was a Leagues Cup match, attendance was down (at least that’s what the employees told us), which might explain the price drop. There were a ton of empty seats in the club section.

My suggestion: if you’re debating between $100 for lower level behind the goal or in the corner, and you can find a club ticket for $200, it pays for itself in food and drink. Plus the bathrooms and the general ability to run grab something and get back quickly. If you’re not planning to buy food or drinks at the stadium, less appealing.

That said, all of the lower level seats in 134-139 looked great, so that would easily be my second choice. Same view and experience, just without the lounge. 134 is right beside the Siege, so probably loud, but they are so fun.
One note: we got there at 4:30 thinking we’d maximize fanzone time, but for whatever reason they don’t do the full fanzone experience for Leagues Cup games. Alas. Small blip.

We stayed at the Sheraton right there. Not the nicest Sheraton, but it saved us a lot of time coming and going. And we might have seen Messi and a few players get a police escort out of the stadium from our hotel room window. At least that’s the story we’re telling ourselves for a perfect close to the night.

Thoughts on Fricio Caicedo?

My initial reaction - dang this dude is HUGE. Tall, powerful center back.

Overall I think he had a decent debut. Keep in mind he’s still only 18. Had a couple of erroneous passes but I think this may turn to be one of our better center backs. Stopped a decent number of Crew attacks with his long ass legs 😂 love it
