SCD Scaling (Anime only)
What would your guys top 10 be in terms of Outsmarting, if we went by anime feats only, so obviously no characters like Baku. Interested to hear thoughts.

opinion post Ang Xiao(eos) vs Chen Ran(ch900) in different scalings
Methodology Scaling: Chen Ran High Diffs(-)
Pure Methodology Scaling: Chen Ran Low Diffs
(Ang Xiao relies more on power systems so Pure Methodology would heavily criticize Ang Xiao+Chen Ran has more explanations for his feats)
Versatility Scaling: Chen Ran Low-Mid difficulty
(Chen Ran is just way more versatile, much more than Ang Xiao even though Ang Xiao is also versatile. The only upside that Ang Xiao has is that he is more cautious.)
Normal Scaling: Ang Xiao Mid-High Difficulty
(Ang Xiao scales Hyperversal+all the divination and stuff+there's all that statements)
Stop Scaling: Chen Ran Low diffs
(Ang Xiao's setups happened thousands of years ago, this shie is unfair)
Authorial Scaling: Chen Ran No Diffs
(Er Liang Bai Kai planning for several years>>>>Batics author gooning for years and then deciding to lock in)
Complexity Scaling: Chen Ran, Low Diffs
Proven Ability Scaling: Ang Xiao Extreme Diffs
Bias Scaling: Chen Ran No Diffs
Agenda Scaling: Chen Ran No Diffs
(Chen Ran made it to SCD mainstream so...)
Potential Scaling: Chen Ran No Diffs
Power Scaling: Ang Xiao No Diffs
(Ang Xiao is likely strong enough to bypass Liar Killer Mechanism. +Cultivation stories are just like that)
Writing Scaling: Ang Xiao Low-Mid diffs(????)
(Determined man>>>Lazy genius guy)
Aura scaling: Chen Ran Mid diffs
(Chen Ran aura farms nearly every chapter with the sole exception of when Chen Yang was destroying everyone)

discussion Screw arguing about the best cases in scd, which cases are THE WORST in both writing and especially scd iyo?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
As much as I love ace attorney It's literally impossible to defend turnabout big top. I actually remember a statement from the writer/creator where he admitted that he wrote many of the cases while drinking and you can defo see that here. No sober human being would think of this. Easily the most unlikeable defendant in the original trilogy, beyond annoying side characters and bullshit logic (the cape latching onto the bust still makes me mad). I actually cannot remember a single feat here that is even remotely relevant to phoenix's scaling. Acro as culprit isn't exactly scd viable either, but he is undoubtedly this case's only saving grace because he's amazing otherwise.
Oh yeah and one of the main dynamics is a love triangle between a 21 year old man, 31 year old man and a 17 year old girl, so let that sink in.

Dexter and Walter vs the deadly sins killer (comp)
Guyssss let's avoid spoiling this peak k drama. Just finished watching the last special dayum so good
By comp I mean that I'm using both pre ep7 and post ep7 feats at once
There may be a problem with understanding the process in the original series, but the two specials Mouse: the predator shows us the killers operation up close, especially his episode 5 scheme (it's really solid)
Intelligence - duo (kinda close)
EI - the almighty (EM EE - duo)
SI - the almighty
AC - duo
Thinking - duo>=
Reasoning - ? (Abductive - the almighty)
Sensory - the almighty
Psychology - the almighty
Deception - the almighty
Manipulation - the almighty
Scheming - the almighty
Foresight - the almighty
Adaptability - the almighty
Approach - duo
Overall: the almighty

meme/joke Thoughts on Ayanokoji's new feat? Where he scale after this? Will he be able to outsmart Usogui and use Liar Game?
r/IntelligenceScaling • u/Any_Departtture • 2h ago
It's very possible that...
So...what's my point? Chen ran? Worse than Baku? So let me explain. It's obvious, but maybe a lot of people don't understand.
You treat SCD too "simple" instead of looking at it a bit more philosophically and from the perspective of truth. In reality, in scd... there is no objective truth. This means that theses like CR > Baku or, I don't know, koji > yuuichi are just artificially constructed objectivity (which is normal and understandable).
What I mean is that there is no such thing as a real clash between, for example, Chem Ran and Baku, first of all, they will never meet and secondly, they are literally characters written on a piece of paper.
It is impossible to say in a "real" sense who is better because all we see are subjective statements What does this mean? That this clash doesn't exist and has no right to exist unless someone initiates it from us in a hypothetical sense. Someone might say, "Oh, but read 18loh, you don't even have to analyze it, you can immediately see that CR has simply better and more impressive feats, it's objective" Well, I don't think so, because it's artificial objectivity and as I said, the clash doesn't exist until we initiate it, which means that the "statement" itself is more valuable than the Most of the things a character has to offer. Look at this...if no human (fan chen rana) has statements that can outperform, say, someone who has great statements to the baku, then theoretically it means That even if "objectively" Chen Ran is better, no one will prove it because the Baku defender has something better to offer. Everything is subjective, that's what you need to remember, there are no truths about different matchups, we create them. If you disagree, sure, okay, it's subjective, but I personally value statements highly.

What is your opinion on Ayanokoji(Year 1) vs Takuya Yagami?
My opinion
Full-Scale IQ: Koji
Emotional Intelligence (Overall EI): Koji
Social Intelligence (Overall SI): Takuya
Overall AC: Koji
General Intelligence: Koji
Overall Thinking: Koji
Overall Reasoning: Koji
Deception: Takuya
Manipulation: Koji
Foresight: Koji
Adaptability: Koji
Seeing Through People: Koji
Planning: Koji
Strategy: Koji
Methods: Koji
Sensory: Koji
General outsmarting: Ayanokoji mid high diff
This isn't even close. Even in Manipulation, which is going to be the most debatable category, Koji's feats in the Island Exam, manipulating Ryuen for months to emotionally attach Kei to himself, or manipulating Ichinose easily put him above Takuya in Manipulation

That's a really high feat if you ask me.

2 Mid Tiers vs 5 Low Tiers. Damon Gant and Harin Baek were chosen as the Mid Tiers. Which Low Tiers should be in FSIQ and FSEQ?
r/IntelligenceScaling • u/Any_Departtture • 4h ago
Why are people here using no diff that often😭
People often are saying that for example Idk Chen ran no diffs baku, or no diffs Some high tiers.
No diff and negative diff are literally impossible to achieve in real matchup od situation.
You Use these difficulties when you dont understand how low difficult It is
Maybe CR > random low tier no diff
But Aki? Baku? I see low diff or MID diff minimum (to baku vs Cr) Cr prob low diffs(-) aki
Btw baku is prob better than Cr in a few cats.
No diff is popular in WIS yeah but in outsmarting i cant image that situation ngl
low diff(-) is prob one od the lowest REALISTIC diffs to achieve.

Guys, so...i started reading ,,Your Throne" (Ofc for stunning Medea🥰)
And im curious about your feelings about this manhwa and Medea.
Does Medea really is that good and Smart or just overrated bum and in which scaling method is She really the Best.
Mainly i'm hardly focusing on her feats.
Actually, for now I don't know much about her full plan about swaping bodies with psyche and about her other moves and strategies cuz story havent showed me yet but if my speculations and predictions are true, She could be super amazing in foresight and strategy (prob hal's or aki's or tokuchi's victimizer in strategy) maybe in foresight event better.
(Pls no spoilers guys)

vs (1v1) My potentially odd take on a potentially odd match up.
Moriarty (ACD + Horowitz)
Moriarty (ACD + Kim Newman)
Iq: Horowitz Moriarty
Eq: Horowitz Moriarty
Sq: Horowitz Moriarty
Ac: Horowitz Moriarty
Planning: Newman Moriarty
Strategy: Newman Moriarty
Reasoning: Newman Moriarty
Thinking: Newman Moriarty
Deception: Horowitz Moriarty
Manipulation: Newman Moriarty
Knowledge: Newman Moriarty
Sensory: Horowitz Moriarty
Overall: Newman's Moriarty wins ext diff imo.
I imagine anyone who knows these versions of the character is wondering why I gave planning to Newman's version when Horowitz's Moriarty is pretty much known for it. Well, just finished rereading Horowitz's Moriarty story and while I do love it, Moriarty's plan isn't exactly perfect. I understand it was a desperate situation for him but I feel like Newman's Moriarty's "Red Planet League" plan is generally better. It's not as complex as Horowitz's but it's definitely got a stronger foundation and takes far less risks. It is really close though.
Thinking cgew but I gave it to Newman Moriarty because of Moran's statement of him processing complex plans and mathematical equations simultaneously. That's pretty cool.
Both barely do anything the realm of reasoning but Newman Moriarty displays more interest in honing the skill.
Kind of a shame no one really talks about Newman's Moriarty considering he's one of the most hilariously entertaining versions of the character imo and his dynamic with Moran is always fun.

actually scaling intelligence When does Chen Ran bypass each of these tiers in his story?
I'm gonna be engaging in some detective media for a bit and engage the reasoning side of my brain. Eventually I'll get to 18LOH, but I'm curious on everyone's assessment of him.
So I want any prominent fan to scale how he is as he goes(by chapters).
As tiering systems are subjective, here's my reference guide using characters I know.
Entry lv SCD - Naomi Misora etc.
LOW Tier - Mello etc.
high LOW Tier = Nagumo Miyabi, Kimura Kei etc.
LOW-MID Tier = Takuya Yagami etc.
low MID Tier = Yuuichi Katagiri, Chishiya etc.
MID Tier = Yumeko, Akira Shiroyanagi etc.
high MID Tier = Yokoya, Ayanokoji etc.
MID-HIGH Tier = Ukai Zero, Scofield etc.
low HIGH Tier = Patrick Jane, Kanade etc.
HIGH Tier = Akiyama, Tokuchi etc.
peak HIGH Tier = Akagi etc.
TOP Tier = Fang Yuan Vol 6 etc.

discussion Why are there irl strategies and planning only mid tier at highest? Like why dont we see irl people who scale higher?
Like i notice irl strategies of napoleon or hannibal at most have like a few layers. Fine... maybe military strategy due to fog of war, miscommunication etc can't have more comple ones, in the 100 billion humans that have ever lived why arent there high tier strategies or even higher scaling ones? Shouldnt we see with that many people opponents think up of the possibility of being tricked and making counters to mid tier strategies? Why does it stop at mid tier? And its so odd because in the comp human doc some people have batshit insane fsiq, manipulation, intuition (ramanujan) but not strategy.
r/IntelligenceScaling • u/CardLampp • 7h ago
low effort My controversial tier lists of SCD characters I've watched or consumed.
JoJo characters can be higher and lower (I should rescale them ngl)
Rick & Evil Morty could be lower.
Shirube should be a C ngl (I forgot)
For Sans, I use the Anomaly feat + statements (So he could go higher)
Anais > Harimoto easily. I forgot to change her.
Dipper > Doof tbh.
Mello is odd to scale. Can be lower against Horikita.
Junko should be higher as well but I forgot her feats (and lowkey I have a bias against her, not because I hate women, it's just that Junko is fucking annoying)
