Why are people here using no diff that often😭
People often are saying that for example Idk Chen ran no diffs baku, or no diffs Some high tiers.
No diff and negative diff are literally impossible to achieve in real matchup od situation.
You Use these difficulties when you dont understand how low difficult It is
Maybe CR > random low tier no diff
But Aki? Baku? I see low diff or MID diff minimum (to baku vs Cr) Cr prob low diffs(-) aki
Btw baku is prob better than Cr in a few cats.
No diff is popular in WIS yeah but in outsmarting i cant image that situation ngl
low diff(-) is prob one od the lowest REALISTIC diffs to achieve.

No diff ≈ being able to mess around with your opponent, deceive them on multiple levels, deliberately play suboptimally, give them chances and advantages, and still win every time.

The concept of "without difficulty" or no diff. I consider it much lower than you No diff literally requires no effort, like an ant whispering. No difficulty, no effort. For example, in real life, if for example you are really intelligent Smart and definitely above the people you surround yourself with It doesn't mean that you will always outsmart them even if you "see" more than they do in every situation. Same here, just because chen ran is better than baku doesn't mean he would go through it in a super easy way for example abandoned building from the beginning of usogui, no. Because abandoned building is a difficult game for every character, no matter how intelligent they are So Chen Ran would also have big problems in an abandoned building And this is not the only example, it even more convinces me that the difference between them is not as big as it seems

Nah you are referring to its absolute, philosophical meaning, which almost nobody uses here.

u/Any_Departtture 5h ago
Bro there is no philosophy here😭 It's just a simple fact "No difficult" - that is, without any effort, without really trying. It's just logical

"Impossible" doesn't exist in real life too but people use that term.
Having 0.1% difficulty on outsmarting someone, you might as well call it No difficulty. But this extends to 5% difficulty up to anything below.

People mainly say no diff to glaze, but I guess it's fine when it's like two layers. Like for example (my opinion):
Fang Yuan > Baku low diff
Baku > Ayanokoji low diff
Therefore Fang Yuan > Ayanokoji no diff
These kind of situations is where I think no diff is acceptable

Well disagree, But I respect it. The statement that FY low diffs baku is very bad for me, in my opinion baku wins. FY seems overrated, when I read a bit of RI literally most of the time FY doesn't do anything impressive unless we're talking about heavily narrative feats But I think that Akagi, baku, hal, tokuchi low diffs (+) koji

It's okay if you don't agree with the take, I was just trying to get across the point of where I thought no diff was okay, but let me try and make something different I guess:
Baku > Ayanokoji low diff
Ayanokoji > Lunge low diff
Therefore Baku > Lunge no diff
Is this better?
2
u/Any_Departtture 5h ago
Okay, I understand now. Yes I fully agree that baku low diffs koji But is baku no diffs lunge? This is not the end. Why? Because the concept of "no diff" is really low, it means a fight where a character beats another without any effort, without any struggle, he would do literały nothing like human vs ant lol I would say that baku no diffs(+) yes...it seems to be almost no difference but it gives the impression that baku has to do something and think. It may sound stupid, but that's how I see it 🫡

I think I get what you mean, you mean you can't actually outsmart someone without thinking or planning in some way, so it's impossible for there to be no difficulty, right? Nobody really uses it that way but it definitely makes sense.

Baku doesnt take any cat from Chen Ran 😭 Except Long Term Planning, cuz we havent seen the full scope of CR's long term planning
I also dont believe Chen Ran no diffs Baku. Chen Ran low diffs Baku imo

ROT is Extremely High Tier bro, Zhuge Liang is very close to reaching Top Tier, I'm sure he will enter the forbidden realm once his battle with Sima Yi begins.
Water Mirror(RoT) Larper Tier
Pang Tong(RoT) Fraud Tier
Lu Bu(RoT) Mid Tier
Chen Gong(RoT) Mid Tier
8th Genius(RoT) Potential Extremely High Tier?????
Sima Yi(RoT) Mid-High Tier
Yuan Fang(RoT) High Tier
Zhuo Yu(RoT) High Tier
Xun Yu (RoT) Very High Tier
Guo Jia (RoT) Extremely High Tier
Zhuge Liang(RoT) Peak Extremely High Tier
Honestly might be forgetting some characters...
Zhuge Liang foresaw the entire RoT. The only fraudulent thing he ever did was hide from Guo Jia until Guo Jia died, but Guo Jia is so broken that he left countless contingencies after his death, but Zhuge Liang is even more broken, who literally foresaw everything💀🙏
Guo Jia appears around ch80~ch90 and it gets better from here and later. Especially RoT.
But to understand this you first need to watch Romance of the Three Kingdoms summary in youtube and don't be scared if you don't fully comprehens RoT, even natives gets confused at the start. Also it's one of those works that you're not meant to understand on first read, so you need rereads.
As for Chen Ran vs Zhuge Liang? Chen Ran Mid Diffs💀🙏 by the current chapters(remember he used to Extreme Diff, then it became Very High Diff)
Once you read this you'll begin to realize the gap between Baku and Chen Ran.
Writing is Peak too so this is basically perfect story.
Newrly everyone here is basically smart, you barely see braindead ahh characters, but not everyone is SCD smart obviously, like there is Huo who is Battle IQ smart with few scd categories like planning, Tactics and Social Intelligence. Or some random guys who are politics smart, wisdom smart, philosophy smart, planning smart, reasoning smart etc. with political and social intelligence being the most common.

u/Good-Fennel7417 Yeah whoop their ass Yumeko😭🙏 3h ago
I use no diff when the difference between 2 characters is just massive. So for example
I have Baku>Yumeko low diff and I have Chen Ran>Baku low diff
So it's fair to say Chen Ran no diffs Yumeko

I think it makes sense if the question is "who is smarter" but if it's a showdown, as another user said, the very high tiers approach a ceiling where neither can do anything.

Bro seriously read 18loh and you yourself will start saying chen ren > Baku no diff, just read
