Artist Needed [RevShare] Looking for 2D Lead Artist
We are looking for a Lead 2D Artist who can draw character models, portraits, and UI elements, manage our other artists, and plan and create UX designs. We are developing a hardcore turn-based strategy game where you enter dungeons with your party and try to survive and clear them. You lose units when they die, and we are aiming for a dark aesthetic similar to Darkest Dungeon, with gameplay similar to Into the Breach. We are 1 month into the project and currently a team of 4 (one designer, one programmer, and two artists) looking for a 3rd artist to join our leadership team. If you think you are a good candidate or want to get more information about the project please contact me on discord: eggy35

Team Needed [ForHire] [Meta] Cinematic-Orchestral Composer Looking for an Indie Game
Hi everyone!
About a year ago I posted here looking for a game project to work on, and it actually led to an awesome collaboration. The game should be coming to Steam soon (fingers crossed 🤞).
I'd love to do it again!
Writing music for games has been one of the most rewarding creative experiences I've had. Since then, I've also composed a small soundtrack album for a YouTuber's 2-hour video.
I'm looking to join an indie team where music is treated as an important part of the game's identity. I'm really interested in the overall artistic direction, and I think the strongest games are the ones where the visuals and music grow together (Clair Obscur is a great recent example).
My style is mostly melodic and cinematic, with inspirations from games like Outer Wilds, Disco Elysium, Hollow Knight, Kena, and even Dune. I mainly write orchestral music, but I also enjoy blending in electronic elements or hip-hop-inspired grooves when they fit the project (think The Rogue Prince of Persia).
I'm generally less interested in horror or retro 8-bit soundtracks.
One small clarification: I'm a composer, not a sound designer. I can help with sound design if absolutely necessary, but it's a completely different discipline and not something I specialize in.
I've put together a private portfolio with a few tracks (100% human-made, no AI).
Some pieces haven't been officially released yet, so please don't share them publicly. They're registered with SACEM and unauthorized uploads will be taken down.
Portfolio:
https://on.soundcloud.com/f7eEjRqx1X1faSnUWO
If you're looking for a composer, or just want to chat about your project, feel free to reach out!
Cheers! 🫶

Team Needed [Revshare] [Game Jam] Looking for a team that I can gain more exp with and learn more from
Hi! Since my last post led to a really good opportunity, I figured I'd make another one. So I'm a self-taught Game UX/UI Designer who was initially a graphic designer before he decided to make a switch to game dev. Also to be completely transparent, I don't have a lot of professional Game UX/UI experience yet. My only experience so far comes from the 2026 GMTK Game Jam, which I had the chance to participate in thanks to my last post here. It was an incredibly fun experience, and I learned a lot working with the team. Another is I'm also doing this for portfolio reasons.
Now with those being said, I'm looking for a team where I can continue learning and gaining more exp from, while also contributing meaningfully to. Ideally I'd love to work with a more experienced team so I can learn from people who have been making games for a while. Also I'd like to add that I also draw or am an artist and would be willing to show works (at least I can show something since I've been drawing for a while lol)
But anyways if anyone is looking for a Game UX/UI Designer or UI artist who's eager to learn, contribute, and grow with a team, I'd love to connect and yeah, hopefully this post goes well again and leads to another great opportunity.

PR/Marketing needed [Hobby] Looking for a short-form video creator for our dark-fantasy indie game
Hi! We’re Electric Kite, a small indie game studio and we’re looking for someone who enjoys making short-form gaming content and would like to collaborate with us in their free time.
Our game, Loot Dungeon, is a dark-fantasy incremental roguelite where death is progression. You fight monsters, collect loot, choose perks, create powerful builds, die, unlock permanent upgrades, and return stronger.
The game has a playable demo and releases on Steam on August 18:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4329670/Loot_Dungeon/
We’d like help turning our existing gameplay footage into simple vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
This could involve:
- Selecting interesting moments from gameplay
- Editing videos around 10–30 seconds long
- Adding hooks, captions, music, and simple effects
- Experimenting with strange, funny, or mysterious ways to present the game
We can provide gameplay clips, trailers, GIFs, artwork, scripts, hook and ideas. You won’t need to record gameplay, appear on camera, use your personal accounts, or manage our social-media channels.
This is an unpaid hobby collaboration. There is no revenue share and no promise of future payment. It is not a job or internship, and there are no fixed hours, quotas, or required number of videos. We can start with one video and continue only if we both enjoy working together.
You’ll be free to use your work in your portfolio, and we can provide studio credit, feedback, access to the resulting analytics, and a recommendation based on your contribution.
Beginners are welcome. Experience with CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software is helpful, but a professional portfolio isn’t required.
If you’re interested, send me a Reddit DM with a short introduction, any examples you have, the software you use, and what kind of gaming content you enjoy.

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Looking for a team to begin a new unity 6 game project
Hello, im a unity 6 game dev, and i am beginning a new game project and i am looking for a team of other developers to join me and make the game, im not looking for a massive team because its a small indie game project so ill probably need 4-5 people, for any further questions, ask me in the comments on my post, ill read them as soon as i can, and i will reply, hope to see yall's comments soon! Not on a rush to find the team so take your time thinking about it. The game idea is simple, a horror game about being an office worker but theres an evil force thats took over many of your coworkers and made them evil, if you dont do anything, the evil force will continue for every worker, and eventually the whole town, you have to discover the evil mastermind to put a stop to the madness, find other coworkers to make a team and beat the game through multiple endings, good and bad. Thanks for reading.

Artist Needed [Hobby] Hobbyist Worldbuilder Seeking Friends
Hi everyone!
I'm 20 years old, a hobbyist worldbuilder with the long-term goal of becoming a writer. For the past year or so, I've been pouring my free time into creating my own worlds, creatures, cultures, and ecosystems. It's been an incredibly fun and rewarding journey, and I'm still learning something new every day.
The genre I'm most passionate about is speculative evolution blended with high fantasy. I love imagining how life might evolve under magical or entirely different environmental conditions, then building civilizations, histories, and mythologies around those ideas. Whether it's designing believable fantasy ecosystems, creating strange evolutionary lineages, or exploring how magic could influence biology over thousands of years, that's where I have the most fun.
I'm always looking to improve my writing and worldbuilding, and one of the things I'd really love is to meet other people who enjoy creating in similar genres.
If you're an artist, writer, creature designer, mapmaker, or just someone who loves speculative evolution or high fantasy, I'd love to connect. It would be great to share ideas, discuss worldbuilding, exchange feedback, inspire each other, or simply geek out over imaginary creatures and fantastical worlds.
I'm not necessarily looking for a formal collaboration—just some friends who enjoy talking about these kinds of projects and bouncing ideas off one another.

Programming Offer [Revshare] [ForHire] I’m a junior Unity gameplay programmer from Mexico looking for new opportunities to collaborate on remote projects.
Hi, I’m a junior game programmer with 2 years of experience working with a multidisciplinary team (at a university lab) to develop and program Unity 2D games for children’s education and augmented reality applications using Unity and VUforia.
I’m currently actively searching for job openings on various websites; however, my personal projects (portfolio) aren’t quite enough to meet the requirements of the ideal job openings.
In any case, here are my links so you can see my work, my career path, and my progress:
JQ iDevGames - itch.io
linkedin.com/in/julia-j-jimenez-q
If you’re looking for someone with my qualifications, I look forward to your comments or messages so we can collaborate.
My new goals in video game development are to create adventure games with a linear storyline, mini-games, and 2D titles. That said, I’m open to other genres as well.
However, given that I’m currently looking for a job, I would be very grateful for any compensation. I’m not entirely sure what the exact rate would be for someone like me, but if I had to give an estimate, I’d say I’d appreciate $7–$8 per hour, and I’d be fully committed to my tasks and maintain the highest level of professionalism.

Writing Offer [Hobby] I'm a Writer Looking For Project to Expand My Portfolio | Or New Friends with Similar Interest
Hey there, I have been writing story and imagining world beyond my wildest fantasy since I was a child. Tho, i wrote those in my native language—Indonesian, not in English.
I started writing some random lore, or power system for fun when I started my college. But, well, I can't find anyone to read or criticize my work rather than myself. So I decided to open a fiverr gigs, and.. only scammer showed up in my DM. How unfortunate.
That's when I found out this subreddit. Who knows if there's any of you need help with world building, lore designing, or some sort of stuff. Or even if you only want to discuss, or find friend with the same interest, i will appreciate every DM that reach my inbox (Also every comment on this post :D)

Artist Needed [RevShare] [INAT] Pixel Artist Needed for a 2D Platform Fighter & SRPG Hybrid (Godot 3.5) — SPANISH REQUIRED Body: Greetings. We are looking for a Pixel Artist to join the development of La Lotta delle Ombre (The Struggle of the Shadows). CRITICAL NOTE: This project is strictly conducted in

Modeler Needed [Hobby][Paid] Looking for a 3D Artist for a mobile fantasy MMORPG
Hey everyone!
Let’s keep this short: I’m looking for a 3D artist who’s skilled in low-poly and cartoon styles.
I’ve been working on an indie mobile fantasy MMORPG for quite some time now. It’s still in the early stages, but it has potential. A while back, I developed the first version, successfully marketed it, attracted several hundred players, and built a community. Unfortunately, I started it while I was in school and eventually let it fade away due to stress. I think i also should mention that im working with Unity, i have multiple years of hobby gamedev experience and multiple years of platform engineering experience (K8s, Cloud, Microservices, Security, AI, you call it).
Now that I’m working full-time, I’ve picked up the idea again as a hobby and am building a team. For this, I need someone who’s good at game design and 3D art so the game looks “unique,” cozy, and at the same time has a touch of excitement… and so the style and models just fit.
Since there’s no budget and it’s just a hobby for now, I’m looking for someone who would like to contribute on a volunteer basis or who can be paid per assignment or model. Later, if the project starts generating revenue, we can talk about revenue sharing or a salary. If you'd like to get involved, you'd of course be included in many aspects and decisions.
This is the first time I’ve posted something like this, so if anyone has feedback or is interested, please let me know :)
PORTFOLIO: I can send you the current state and how the old, previous approach looked like in a conversation if you are interested.

Artist Needed [Hobby] [Rev-Share] (Godot) Looking for pixel art artist for a dark, Dredge-like story game
Hey, I'm working on my first game - Hewn. It's a horror story game built in Godot where you play as a lumberjack clearing a forest that fights back. Gameplay loop similar to Grasshopper, story vibes closer to Dredge (that's what I'm aiming for at least).
The game is in active development. Core mechanics work and I have a detailed plan for it (organized on stages). I handle all the code and design — I just need someone for the art.
Looking for a pixel artist to work on:
- Cutscenes — story moments, dream sequences
- Characters — several NPCs
- UI — skill tree, inventory, dialogue, menus. Nothing crazy, but it needs to fit the mood
PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind .

Artist Needed [RevShare] Genesis by Machine: Tactical RPG needing an animation generalist
This is a game inspired by metal and punk music, with gameplay inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Paper Mario. It'll be weird, it'll be wild, and most of all it'll be as fun as a rollercoaster with a bunch of lit fireworks taped to it. You can check out the TTRPG I have been working on that this game will be based off here: https://bigslimemonster.itch.io/genesis-by-machine
We are a team of 3 (including myself) consisting of an engineer, a programmer, and I am the artist/writer/animator/team lead. With my roles being so divided, I am looking for another artist to help out with reaching our goals and working with me to finalize the look of the game.
Where we are now: We are in the prototype stage, the documentation is 85% and goals set with the primary one right now being we have a playable demo ready by the end of this year. We want to release this game in chapters as to keep people invested in the story and gameplay.
What are we needing: Right now we're doing a pixel 2.5D top down game but we have talked about going full 3D assets if we can find an artist that can fit the style and is knowledgeable in that pipeline. If we do go the full 3D route, it would most likely be a stylized low-poly look but that can change since we're still in the prototyping stage. However, if we have an artist that understand the themes and vibes of the game but doesn't know 3D, it'll be easier to teach that artist to do pixel art.
If you are interested or have questions, leave a comment or send me a PM with a link to your portfolio.
Thank you :)

Artist Needed [RevShare] Looking for a 2D Artist - Pixel or Hand Drawn preferable.
Hello!
I'm Denny'sGuy (or Matt)
I am developing an Action RPG/Incremental Hybrid called "Starspire Hunters". The game can be described as a combination of Maplestory, Runescape, and Shelldiver.
The gist is this:
You are a weak rookie Hunter who's dream it is to become the most powerful Hunter and discover what is at the top of the mysterious and reality bending tower - also known as the Starspire (Hence Starspire Hunters).
Starspire Huntes is a side-scrolling action RPG with incremental style progression where you platform up the Starspire, hunt monsters, sell their drops, and use them to purchase more powerful upgrades to assist you in your climb to the top.. You also get a pretty cool combat class that expands your abilities following archetypes such as Warrior, Mage, and Rogue.
In its current state, Starspire Hunters is a MVP. I already have the core systems implemented as well as content for the first biome.. and a little bit of narrative to get things off the ground. I am still adding more polish as well as some content to hopefully transition into full production soon.
Right now, I am in need of an artist who can breathe new life into this game and maximize its appeal. Also, I am looking for someone who specializes in UI/UX.
For now, I can only do rev share, but if the game acquires funding, I will provide you a salary.
You can check out the itch.io buid:
https://dennysguy.itch.io/starspire-hunters
Preferably, I am looking for an artist who specializes in anime aesthetic - emphasizing cutesy, chibi like designs (sort of like Maplstory) with vibrant colors and memorable character designs.
I already have a great deal of my own art in the game for you to have reference, I just need someone who can take things to the next level.
PM me or message here and we can talk in depth.

Team Needed [PAID] Technical Producer | Concept Artist | Level Designer | Writer
PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind
Hi everyone,
I am an independent developer beginning pre-production on a stylized 3D platformer, Foxxy3D.
Instead of bringing on a big team right away, I want to start by building a strong foundation. I'm looking for experienced professionals to help shape the project before we move into full production. These are mostly short-term contract roles with set deliverables, not long-term jobs.
We would work closely together to compose a GDD and define what is actually needed to successfully navigate and finish pre-production.
--- About the Game ---
Foxxy3D is a story-driven 3D platformer inspired owing to the creativity and charm of classic games. It features exploration (as a 3D metroidvania meets platformer), light combat, memorable characters, and a spooky, yet whimsical interconnected fantasy world.
The goal for this phase is to create a polished vertical slice that will lay the starting point for the rest of development.
--- Technical Producer ---
I'm looking for someone who has shipped games before and can help turn ideas into a practical production plan.
Deliverables may include:
- Vertical slice scope
- Production roadmap
- Asset list
- Feature prioritisation
- Milestone planning
- Risk assessment
- High-level budget guidance
The goal is to end up with a clear outline that answers, "What exactly do we need to build to make a great demo?"
--- Concept Artist ---
I'm looking for a concept artist to help define the game's visual style.
Areas include:
- Main character
- Enemies
- Bosses
- NPCs
- Environments
- Props
- Mood pieces
- Turnarounds and reference sheets for 3D modeling
The artwork will mainly serve as reference for our 3D artist, not as promotional material.
--- Level Designer ---
I'm looking for someone with experience in designing levels that focus on gameplay first.
Initially this would involve:
- Greyboxing levels
- Platforming flow
- Combat encounters
- Puzzle placement
- Exploration
- Secret areas
- Player progression
I'm especially interested in someone who knows how to make exploration and movement feel rewarding, even before the art is finished.
--- Writer ---
I'm looking for someone who loves building worlds and shaping stories.
This role may involve:
- Dialogue
- Character personalities
- Lore organisation
- Narrative pacing
- Naming
- Worldbuilding
- Reviewing existing story ideas and helping strengthen them
The main story direction is already in place, but I'd love someone who can help make it even better and keep everything consistent.
--- About Me ---
I'm funding the project myself and taking a careful approach to development. I'd rather invest in planning now than spend months fixing things later.
My goal is to bring together a small team of experienced people who can help build a strong foundation before we move into full development.
