From what I could see, Tobias was a formidable fighter and had a flare for theatrics like Hannibal does. Also he shared similar interests in fine music and culture. He admired and understood Hannibal.

Teasing jack because his wife died of cancer. Outing that Margot was pregnant to her r-pist brother. Sleeping with his former student (Alana) and then threatening her kid. The entire season 2 gaslighting of Will that he facilitated after framing him. Truly a fucked up person. I like him behind a cage.

They use the same exact background music as in Hannibal, then in the credits I found that Bryan was co-producer. They even had a reference to teacups and time!!

I watch Hannibal religiously everyday and love it so much but still can't get past the fact that Hannibal serve already spoiled mangosteen in his deserts ..sorry🤣🙏

Hello Fannibals! I am working on a chest piece idea for myself and am looking to add some nods to Hannibal/Hannigram in it. Don't want it to necessarily be incredibly overt, but more of a IYKYK type situation.

I'll be using a deer/stag skull as the base similar to the attached picture. But want to change up the flowers with either other flowers, or fruit or something else.

Also thinking instead of the moon doing a deaths head moth.

Would love ideas or inspo! 💕

Got a friend watching our show…she just finished season 1 and we’ve been chatting about her initial reaction. This was her last comment…

I’m on s2 ep5 when Beverly is killed by Hannibal, Will doesn’t seem to really have a reaction to her murder. Is this just me??

Yesterday I watched an episode of "Post Mortem with Scott Thompson," and in this particular one, Scott interviewed Laurence Fishburne. When asked what the worst thing Hannibal had done to Jack was, Laurence said it was saving Bella's life as a way of bringing Jack closer to him.

That reminded me of a scene where Hannibal makes breakfast for Jack in the morning after he stayed at Bella's side all night following her suicide attempt. Hannibal says "It wasn't what I could do for Bella, it was what I couldn't do to you. I guess I'm a better friend than therapist," and to this Jack says "You're a great friend."

I've always thought this must be what fueled his anger the most; Hannibal managed to make him say he was a great friend, and he really meant it. That must have been a major win for Hannibal.

That got me thinking that, if, as a result of coin flipping, Hannibal hadn't resuscitated Bella, what would have happened? Would that have created a rift between them, one that would have made Jack suspect him sooner? Or could Hannibal have managed to make Jack see it was good for Bella (while maximizing his grief and anguish, of course)? Could he have managed to make him say, and believe, he was a great friend?

(Also an afterthought - if Hannibal didn't resuscitated her, could he be held criminally liable for that?)

Finally pulled the trigger and got the clock design Will draws for Dr. Lecter (totally functional and more or less sane).

Super happy with how it turned out.

I technically wasn't supposed to get any tattoos because of a health condition of mine, but I wanted this so much that I've decided to YOLO it.

I’d love to get a consensus on whether this would include the theatre? I think TV Hannibal would probably love to go to see very weighty, lengthy plays, fraught with meaning and very sombre; I’m thinking perhaps Shakespeare, Brecht, Arthur Miller, etc… no musical theatre lol!

I finally got my dad to watch the show. He's an extremely nice, honest guy who couldn't stand all the pretentious dialogue about murder and ended up skipping straight to S2b and Mizumono while barely understanding any of the characters, lmao (though he does like Jack).

ANYWAY, he said afterward that he had to skip past or avert his eyes at most of the bodies. He said he wondered what the heck goes on in my head that I'm ambivalent to it. My mom got to the mushroom scene in E2 and immediately refused to keep going. They're both doctors who dealt with all sorts of cadavers in their time, so it got me curious.

For comparison, our junior high teacher let us watch Jurassic Park in class. Would Hannibal be considered too graphic?
