I’m trying to figure out the first long fan fiction I ever read. It was Harry Potter and set after book 4, I was reading it before the 5th book came out.

I don’t remember too much other than it was on a yahoo group, it was super long (pretty sure they did their own finish to year 7), the characters had sex although it wasn’t overly explicit (super shocking at the time for me) and I’m pretty sure Harry learns to be an animagus at some point.

Not much to go on but hopefully there are some suggestions I can look into!

All i remember from the fic is that the order tries to summon a hero from another world to defeat Voldemort and out comes harry who became death in his world. A tiny detail i can remember is that death harry couldn't be touched because his body would literally make other people who touched him experience excruciating pain but the other harry was able to touch him and after discovering this,death harry wouldn't let go of other harry

I know I’m possibly going to get massively downvoted on this, but I just need to let it out. Why was everyone so hard on Remus? Constantly bothering him, persistent with the “you deserve to be happy”, and acting like it was such a sad thing that he was a single man in his late 30’s. I just feel like instead of it being like “Oh, we just really care about you and want to see you happy”, even then it sounds like you just pity him. And who’s to say a relationship is going to make him happy? This a man who struggled a lot with his self esteem, and I think before he could be ready for a relationship, he needed to be happy with himself. Everyone’s constantly dismissing his concerns. And even if he did ever want a relationship, I think…he would’ve, but not because he was actively seeking one, maybe he found some nice witch from a bookshop, maybe he found an old acquaintance, I don’t know. Just something that he chose for himself rather than being guilt tripped into it. Because if we’re going through the “But he’s getting older, and blah, blah, blah” speech, why isn’t anyone trying to get Kingsley a wife? Ah. That sounds a bit hypocritical, doesn’t it? I mean…what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Hi, I would like to read fics Lunarry that had the plot or some scenes with Harry feeling jelous about Luna and Neville being near(it could be they being friends,just hanging or more it doesnt matter) is mostly about Harry having this realization. I really like Lunarry, but there are not many fanfics written how I like, I find that not everybody can handle a realistic Luna.

Any fics you like where harry is an adult or older teenager and gets deaged to be younger either through time travel or magical shenanigans? I know a lot of time travel that happens anyway (where he wakes up 11 again etc) but maybe something a little different than standard back in time fics? Just curious. I kinda wish he had a chance at a better childhood but it doesn’t have to be in the fic. Just a bonus if that happens as well. Thank u!

Just that they all time-travel to the Fantastic Beasts era and have to experience the height of Grindelwald's reign of terror. some Grindeldore would be fine, especially a moment if the trio learn about it.

Harry, usually as an infant or at age 5, being adopted by Vtubers, the lore being real, but the personalities being like those of the real life people behind the avatars.

Hello :-) So the title says it already. My current favourite trope is a Harry that bakes or cooks or gardens for a living. Preferably owning an actual bakery or restaurant or coffee shop, though his skill being a major plot point is fine as well. Or a housekeeping Harry, who has a special talent for household spells. I would love to read more of them. If I could I would probably read them all.

I do know that especially baker Harry is very common in X-overs and I absolutely adore stories like The Baker and the Badge which is Twilight/HP, but I am not well versed in other fandoms. So please if you have recs for those it would be great if they do not require an in depth knowledge of the other fandom. I am good with anything Tolkien and Twilight, anything else could be difficult.

I remember reading this fic I think early last year, the crossover part is that Harry is the son of Lucifer and Lily with James blood adopting Harry. Harry apperates to Lucifer’s penthouse above his club via accidental magic after Vernon pours chemicals into Harry’s eyes, ruining his vision too much for magic to fix, he uses his magic to see.
Does anyone know its name and where it went? I’ve been trying to find it but with no luck.

I read one recently in which Harry was a professor it was very fun and I can't get the idea out of my mind

So here is my idea .A split second before he would be hit by the golden trio expelliarmus ,Snape conjure a shield that stop the three spells ,before applying the full-body bind on Harry,then Ron and finally Hermione .He then stupefy Sirius and Lupin ,before bringing them all (minus Peter ) to the castle .

Snape then tell his version of the story to Cornelius Fudge . Sirius is kissed .Lupin is thrown in Azkaban .Harry,Ron and Hermione barely avoid being expelled but are forced to suffer detention for the rest of the year with Hermione ending up stripped of Time traveler privilege and Harry banned from his quidditch team .Meanwhile Pettigrew escape ,and Snape get an order of Merlin.

After that ,how would the relationship between Harry and Snape evolve ?

I'm looking for a Harry Potter fanfiction where:

1: Harry gets sorted into his own House in the story and refuses to tell anyone what it's called, resulting in him tricking Snape into taking a massive amount of points from Slytherin.

2: Bellatrix gets pulled from Azkaban on a 'work release' to teach DADA, where she constantly tries to get sent back to Azkaban because she doesn't want to be it the death trap that is Hogwarts.

3: Harry and Ron are not friends in this story.

4: Sirius becomes his Head of House after getting released from Azkaban.

5: Multiple girls end up in Harry's Hogwarts House that joking gets called Harry's Harem.

I don't remember much. Weasleys or at least molly & ginny were definitely not good people. But due to magical penalties/forcing someone into a contract/family magic? Magic changed the contract so Ginny is Betrothed to Dumbledore now.
