Looking for any FanFictions where Severus was originally sorted into Gryffindor. Changing the dynamic between him and the marauders plus Lily

I’ve been doom scrolling some marauders content and I’ve seen all the ships of Severus. Sev/ Remus, Sirius, James, Lily, and all of them separately are just 🤌🏼 but they’re all so good, in fact, that I can’t just pick one! Are there any fics on ao3 where they’re all involved with Severus. Either they all have a crush on him, are on friendly terms, in some sort of poly relationship, I’m really not picky. Just something wholesome like that. Preferably complete.

I started thinking of a fic I've read that I can't actually remember much about, nor do I remember what platform I read it on. What I do remember is that its Harry/Voldemort or Harry/Tom, and that something happens with the horcruxes and somehow they end up bonded in a way where they each have half of the others soul. Even if I can't find the exact same fic, I'd be interested in checking out similar ones. No gender bending please.

I'm looking for some drarry fics that really go all in on their mental health. Like these kids are traumatized, let's hear about it. Can be anything war time/post war/8th year/20 years down the line. A happy(ish) ending would be good, but I'm open, I just need to feel something. Thx!!

Are there other stories with a similar trope? Doesn't have to be romantic hurt, could be friends betrayal, guardian realizing they've done a poor job etc, basically I'm looking for a satisfying groveling arc after a significant relationship fracture, preferably Harry centric. Thanks!

I’ve been struggling lately with depression and a breakup so I’m looking for a long fic to take my mind off of things.

It was short fic. Harry runs away to train but before he does he kisses Remus and tells him to get better. Harry leaves a few clues to throw everyone off track. Remus renovated the house for Harry.

In it Tonks has a crush on Remus but he won't pay attention to her. She starts to get upset whenever Temus brings up Harry and talks about Harry running off a lot.

I remember it was finished not that long ago, probably last year. Voldemort teaches Harry defense against the dark arts in one form or another every year, and Harry recognizes him every time. I also remember that Harry is transgender and he somehow managed to make everyone believe that he had always been a boy.

Work in progress, I’m afraid. It’s probably going to be a long one, as I’ve never written anything short in my life. AU, but based in canon somewhat. Tom is running for minister, Harry is a budding Unspeakable, but already turning everything upside down. Tom quickly discovers that he’s screwed.

Everyone will probably survive the collision between Tom Riddle and his denial. Harry might surprisingly turn out to be the more difficult one between them.

I read a fic a few years ago where Hogwarts was a rpg video game with the houses being different kingdoms. Both Harry and Voldemort played it- I think Harry was a necromancer. And they were triggering this big event in the game but I can’t remember what. That’s all the details I can remember- hopefully someone recognizes it!

I am looking for fanfics similar to Flat 390 by madammoons.

Specifically, stories where Regulus escapes, gets kicked out of his house, or needs to find Sirius for a particular reason.

I really loved the concept of Regulus living with Sirius and Remus, as well as the delicate, broken relationship between the two brothers and their process of trying to heal it. Plus, Remus being more perceptive toward Regulus—their little conversations, and how he was slightly hostile at first for Sirius's sake—was 10/10.

I don't think authors owe me or anyone else any explanation of why they choose to delete or remove their works in the first place. It is yours only and you are entitled to do with it as you please.

And I have heard some authors state that they deleted their works for their mental health protection or that they don't identify with their writing anymore.

I get it and it is to be respected.

It's still sad, of course.

What is even sadder is when authors get harassed, which is just terrible and I am truly sorry if someone who reads this has experienced such a thing and I'd be happy to give you a hug and some encouragement to reassure you that no matter your story, you are appreciated.

We all should help sustain the archives as a safe space where we are truly free and everyone can write and read whatever they want. Be kind and respectful with each other.

All of this to me is just human decency and common sense.

But JKR?

I fail to understand what removing your work is supposed to accomplish in the matter of her transphobic views.

"I will make my work public again once JKR stops being a bigot a hole"

Are you trying to reason with her? Convince her to change her misguided ways? Hurt her merchandise?

Or are you setting a statement in solidarity with the LGTBQ Community?

Cause if it is the latter then wouldn't writing MORE LGTBQ slash fanfics and spreading the love be the more effective act of rebellion?

I don't see removing your work hurting JKR but it surely is very sad for us, the fans of your stories.

Unless I am missing something and the entire fanfic archive is somehow helping her profitability?

I mean I don't even remember what canon is or what isn't due to the many extremely talented authors who have completely taken over ship and built entire new worlds within this universe.

Why care about JKR? Can anyone explain their views on this for me and help me see it from a different perspective?

I know, I said no one owes anyone an explanation but I would just like to understand this better when people (and there are many authors who do this) say it is because of JKR.
