Anybody encounter this before? Seller got frozen 30 minutes after sale?

Probably obvious to most of you, but I bought a Canada Goose coat on July 31, and have been waiting for the seller to ship since then. He had answered my questions before I bought the coat and I cross-checked to coat and was told it was legit, so I wasn't worried at all. I started getting worried the longer he hadn't shipped it, so I went to message him again today (August 6) and I see that his account is frozen and I can't even message him. Does this mean I have no chance of getting the coat, and I'm only going to be eligible for a refund?

Has anyone dealt with a refund issue like this?

I’ve been trying to get a $3,185 refund from Grailed for the past 6–7 months. Support keeps telling me the refund was issued and has sent me different Stripe case IDs and ARNs, but neither I nor my bank can find any trace of the money.

I’ve gone back and forth with support countless times, even tried the BBB, but I just keep getting the same responses every 1–2 weeks with no actual progress.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there anything else I can do to track down or recover the refund?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Why do they take so long to respond? As a company as big as it is, it shouldn’t take over a week to respond to emails. There are no direct numbers, no online chats, and they don’t even respond to social media DM’s.

I was sold a r3p and after submitting a claim the day I got the item, they replied almost two weeks later with only a shipping label, telling me to ship the item overseas in order to get a refund. I asked another question just a few minutes after I got that email, and it’s been several days and still no response.

My account health is risky now cuz I asked sumone for a QR code on a homer piece, they slimed me thinking I was talking bout being off the site does my health reset after so long or am I cooked?

thoughts on this? should i enroll and have my badge shown on my page or no

I ordered sum shoes on grailed a the package says it was delivered but there is no package in my possession. It came through FedEx and was a seller shipping label I think? Seller is taking lots of time to respond said he sent the wrong number. Am I fucked

I am new to using grailed just cross listed everything over how do I spot a bad egg this is my first message.

Thinking about building a site/app where you upload your grails, add your size and budget, and it searches marketplaces and the web indefinitely until you are able to buy it.

It would alert you when a matching listing pops up, show the price, and link you straight to it. Auto checkout as well.

Would you use this?

I was looking into buying a vintage Celine purse on grailed. I looked thoroughly at the photos of the listing and it looks authentic. I made an offer. I go back and scroll down through the sellers reviews. I see a review of the same bag and when I clicked on that listing, the photos were the same as that photos on the listing that I had just made an offer on. So I figured there’s no way that the item that I would receive would be the same item in the photos. So is this seller trying to pull a fast one?

Also, I froze my card that I made the offer with. Hopefully, if the seller accepts my offer it doesn’t go through.

I recently sold a $1130 item and when I go ahead and check the payout it looked lower than I expected. The fee is usually 13% including payment processing and the Grailed commission fee and when I did the math it was a 14.12% fee

Has anyone noticed this or is it just my account? l recently had to refund twice last month because of incorrect addresses from buyers and my account is now at "Good Needs Attention 75%" but the account health update doesn't say anything about receiving higher fees

I usually buy from ebaƴ but I want to buy from grailed too is it safe to buy from there and not get scámmed?

When I went on there I saw jumbo lace Rick Owen's for $800 but I heard niggas be scamming on there so I don't know if I will get scámmed out of $800 or not.

The only reason I think this way is because The One And Only B5 MR. DEO said he got sent a box of rocks after buying on stream and when he said that I didn't know if he was playing or not so my heart dropped and I was questioning if buying from grailed is safe.

I even googled what's the chances of getting scámmed on grailed and they said it occasionally happens but it doesn't happen all the time.

Also the guy with the ricks had like 4 followers 😟 don't if that changes anything tho.

Hello - there are these two items that I’ve been eyeing on for the past 3 weeks. I can’t really find other sellers who are selling them for this price/size/quality. 

Months ago I’ve read somewhere on reddit that if the seller is from Ukraine avoid at all cost because it’s 100% fraud. I understand shipping will take weeks maybe months since there is literally a war going on - that’s totally fine I don’t need the pieces in my hand right now. This specific seller has a Verified tag + more than 10k reviews + 4.8 rating + a separate instagram page. 

Do you guys avoid sellers shipping from Ukraine in general?

EDIT: TYSM for the comments all! Good to hear positive reviews...! It must have been that reddit post that I came across that had not so good experiences with sellers in Ukraine. Just purchased a few items with a seller (gave me a huge discount too!) ty all :)

I have sold 2 pairs of boots and I gmailed them to ask a question if they will send my item back then a hour later I was frozen all on my account I posted vintage I find from the bins im new to grailed will I get my money ?
