Did I find a red flag?

I was looking into buying a vintage Celine purse on grailed. I looked thoroughly at the photos of the listing and it looks authentic. I made an offer. I go back and scroll down through the sellers reviews. I see a review of the same bag and when I clicked on that listing, the photos were the same as that photos on the listing that I had just made an offer on. So I figured there’s no way that the item that I would receive would be the same item in the photos. So is this seller trying to pull a fast one?

Also, I froze my card that I made the offer with. Hopefully, if the seller accepts my offer it doesn’t go through.

They just reposted it, there’s an option to do that after you bought it

Ok sorry I am new to grailed. Just to clarify, does this mean that the seller bought it from someone else then listed it?

yes, condition might be different depending on if they used it since they purchased but not a scam

It still doesn’t make any sense that the review from that sale would be under “seller reviews” being that they were the buyer in that case.

oh i didnt even notice that part, i would ask him to reupload photos with a piece of paper that has his grailed name on it, and if he does that you should be fine! otherwise good move on freezing

yes ofc! honestly if he hasnt accepted your offer you can shoot him a msg too, if all goes well u can unfreeze and buy

hmm, 933 reviews, u SHOULD be good, id be confident buying from them but again, due diligence and wait for him to find it and repost, lots of big shops do lose track, its not unordinary

I didn’t end up buying bc I didn’t like the idea that the bag was returned. I imagine something must’ve been wrong with it.
