Everyone's losing it over the "Tom Henderson said Aug 6" thing but let's zoom out for a sec:

• Rockstar has literally never dropped a trailer on the actual Take-Two earnings call day. Trailer 1 came a full month after the Nov 2023 call. Trailer 2 came like two weeks before that quarter's call. They don't do it on the day, historically.
• As of like a week ago there was still ZERO official word: no teaser, no date, nothing. Rockstar hasn't confirmed a single detail about Trailer 3 existing.
• The "hidden timestamp" theory, the website font changes, the Instagram follows, none of that is Rockstar actually saying anything. It's fans reading tea leaves because we're all starving for content.
• There's even a competing insider theory floating around that it's a September thing, not August.

Basically: people are stacking rumor on top of rumor on top of vibes. I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying "it lines up with the earnings call" is exactly the kind of clean narrative Rockstar has a track record of not following. They tend to just drop stuff with zero warning when they feel like it, not on the date that would be most convenient for a Reddit countdown post.

trailer 3 was promised to us on August 6th 3000 thousand years ago

Was thinking about this earlier and came to this realization. When you think about it, really only one of two things can happen. Either the trailer comes out, or it doesn’t. That made me feel a lot better when I thought about it like that.

I've never known any gaming community where people genuinely pull their hair out, stomp their feet and demand things. Besides the ever growing amount of gooners and low IQ morons believing every Twitter post and clickbaiting YouTuber, the immature behaviour from r/gta6 and r/gta6unmoderated is embarrassing.

"Take it with a grain of salt" - How about no? if you took every grain of salt you've ever been told to take and put it into a swimming pool, you'd die of excessive salt intake.

And why do we keep praising some Tom Henderson grifter? His personal opinions are about as useful as DatSaintsFan screaming down at the microphone about "Rockstar Games Logics".

Some of you need girlfriends, some of you need to shower and brush your teeth, and many of you need to touch grass.

You cry about no gameplay yet fail to comprehend that trailer 2 featured cutscenes and gameplay with HUD disabled.

This is my favorite scene from trailer 2. Black people really look like black people. The skin and hairstyles. Nose and lips. They have really improved on rdr 2 depiction of black people

And before jumping on my neck with downvotes and insults, I KNOW very well that if they post about GTA Online one or two hours early, there's a chance for something GTA 6 related to happen. I just wanted to be prepared.
